Deck the Threads ROLL OVER ~-II-~ We didn't get any replies to the competition. Again. So, we're going to to it again. We also have Magicka (with 2 DLC), Natural Selection, Sanctum 2 and Garry's Mod among some other stuff. So, we threw on another bundle of stuff to keep the deal sweet. This has stuff like Overlord 1 and 2 + expansion pack, Hospital Tycoon and some Grid games. Also, Awesomenauts and the Starstorm expansion. Get them ahead of the next expansion expected to come out soon. NEW FOR THIS TIME ROUND: Also pick up Star Wars stuff. Knights of the Old Republic I and II, Galactic Battlegrounds and Rebellion. All on PC. We'll even throw in 75% off Star Wars games in the Humble Store and 10% off a Humble Monthly Bundle. I will even draw your OC. Free of charge. We'll even try to find some more stuff to throw on top. The task, we'd like you to make us a Forum Theme. The bare minimum is to design the colours and such for the Front Page. If you want to add extra stuff to what you come up with, that's pretty neat but we're only looking for a front page. That includes a design for the Logo, the nav bar, the side bar and the look of at least one forum on the front page. So...Roughly this: That's good! That little spot there (except for the Big, Green Bar at the top, that's staff stuff, don't worry (don't worry about that Report)). Use pencils, use paint, use Microsoft Paint. Your photoshop skills will pay off here. Once you have something to show, submit it to me via a Conversation/PM or to S.P.I.K.E at spike@everypony.com as well as any extra details you think would make your Theme a cut above the rest. This time, we'll push this back to The 17th of April, 2016. Should be back after BUCK to judge this thing properly. Get your entries in by then and you can not only win but get your vision plastered across the site. You have games (of which we might throw on extra stuff too because we really would like a new Theme) but you also have that tear in your eye from seeing your good work done all year round. A Few Good Ideas: Ponies! The original Everypony had Pony themes, why not make your own? Seasons! The theme we use all the time was originally intended as a 'Spring' theme. Why not Summer, Winter and Autumn? Villains! Because they're awesome. People liked the old Changeling theme. Maybe you could strike it rich again with one of those! Staff Members! Because...sometimes flattery works... Other TV Shows! Because if we ponify them, it's all good! Moods! The site too bright? Try a miserable tone or happy? Or meloncolly? Or nostalgic? I dunno... Games! Because ponifying is fun! Ponies! Did I mention we were a pony site? The hints and clues are there. Remember! Just the front page. Just wanna say, since I'll be building one over on my site if I do win this little thing it requires a xenforo addon for extra color paletes in the styles menu since I always use extra palates so themes can be less limiting, just a heads up ^^
Would it count if I messed around with the HTML code of the site (with the F12 button), saved my copy of the website, and found a way to send it to you? I would still have no idea how to implement it onto the site...but if you can work with some random code changes...~
There is an addon for google chrome called stylish btw, its only client side but it will allow you to save changes done in the inspect element menu (its how I have round avatars on here) so you could use that
I just said its client side its a modification I made for my own use if it was server side tyro would have probably banned me for messing with site code a while ago xD
