Brave "That's a lot of ships." Brave Cape turned to his commander, pretty much ignoring the other's petty discussion, and added: Brave "Sir, I believe this mission is important enough for you to cut it out and explain what is going on already?"
"There is possible chaos activity on Turith IV that we are going to check on. You lot will be heading down together and will hold the drop point TOGETHER I do not care what you think is right you will hold the drop zone as one. I do this only because you all cannot seem to get along, now then you are to hold until relieved by either myself and first company or by the Cadian forces already on the planet. Since chaos forces might be involved I am sending newly trained chaplain Torpas with you, he is in charge until either I, Lord Commissar White Mane, or another friend of mine arrives on scene. Am I clear?" says Rashall, he looks at the wolf Torpas who is already encased inside of his chaplain battle plate his Crozius Acranum in one hand and a plasma pistol in the other. The Chaplain nods his head to Rashall as the supreme grand master walks off with the Chief Librarian and the Master of Sanctity. He then turns his deathskull helm towards you all motioning for you all to board the nearby thunderhawk.
Blackheart and his Battle Brothers do as they where told and bored the Thunderhawk, but before Blackheart board he turnded and said "May Celestia be with you all and may she guide your bullets to your enemy's" and after saying that he board the Thunderhawk.
Edge has been sleeping on his chair and was suddenly awoken he looked at Rashall then to the nearby Thunder Hawk he shrugged and picked up his dual bolter pistols and Stalker Bolter (A.K.A Sniper). He looked at Rashall and didn't really feel to talk or anything special he doesn't fell like annoy any pony he bored the ship and sat on a chair he started to clean his sniper making it shine brightly.
"Sir, yes Sir!" Nightshift replies automaticaly and boards the Thunderhawk, strapping himself in and checking that his weapons are fully charged.
"Pfft... I am to work with these,... Simpletons?" Grid said out loud with no attempt to hide it. "I am only here on request from Celestia." Grid stared at Torpas for a while, Then showing submission boarded the ship.
AngelCake simply nodded in understanding to the commanders then followed the others onto the thunderhawk
As the last of you board the thunderhawk the ramp closes tightly behind you sealing you inside. Seconds later the craft takes of and heads towards the world known as Turith IV. ((OOC the trip will be a bit long so you will be stuck inside the thunderhawk for a while. Start chatting it up a bit.))
Edge looked at all the ponies on the ship he sighed and looked at his sniper, he looked at the weather and wind direction on a holographic tablet and started to adjust his scope he felt kinda awkward just every pony sitting here nothing to say or do. He finished making the adjustments and the room is still quiet he sighed once again and deiced to make a conversation with these ponies. "So... Strategy yeah.... What are we all going to do?" he said.
Brave Cape was examinating a device which function was unknown to everypony but him, moving it around, almost... Toying with it. After heeding Edge's question he looked at him and answered: Brave "Do we know who our enemy is? Who we are actually fighting against? What is this planet, where exactly will we stand? And what weapons, what ponies, who we are, - Brave made a dramatic pause - to be used in battle? He stared at Edge for a moment, waiting for an answer. And yet, he didn't give enough time to. Brave "No, you don't. You don't know me, for a start."
Torpas just snickers at both the silence and argument that is about to progress in side of the drop ships bay.
she made her way over to Edge then told him "okay, this is what were supposed to do-and pay attention this time." she paused to make sure he was paying attention, then continued "were just gonna check on some chaotic activity on Turith IV. Were supposed to hold the drop point TOGETHER." she said together very loudly and dramaticly like Rashall had "Rashall doesnt care what we think were suposed to hold it together. We do that till Rashall and first company or Cadian forces on the planet releive us." she paused again to make sure he was listening "Torpas heres gonna be in charge till Rashall, Lord Commishiner White Mane, or another friend of his arrives. Okay?" She held her breath for his reaction. She had a bit of a feisty mouth that was triggered by other ponies' remarks. Sometimes she could hold it back, but when it came to Edge, he could tick anypony off.
Brave Cape wasn't in a very good mood. Brave "Ok, so you basically repeated everything our commander said. You're done?"
Blackheart had been discussing battle plans with his battle brothers. He turned and looked at the other ponies and said "Brothers and sister remember to find cover and not to waste ammunition." He turned back to his Battle Brothers and to hear Azariah whisper to him "They won't even make it ten minutes on the battle field." Blackheart stared at him and then said with a smile "Don't underestimate them, they are tougher than you think."
"Well said Blackheart, well said indeed." said Torpas with a tone that belied that he knew more than he was letting on.
Edge heard Brave's anwser and felt like he wanted to punch him in the face but he let it go he sat there until Angel said something. He started to lift his head until Brave made yet another rude comment he imagined shooting this guys head off just in a second just lift it pull the trigger and boom he is dead. But yet again he let it go he sat there eyeing Brave "How could this grumpy pony get in the elite squad," he mumbled.
"You ponies worry about your little bullets." Grid walked over to the Navigational Bridge. "I have to focus on pin pointing the exact coordinates of every enemy ship." Looking at Angel. "You're never going to get anywhere in life if you're 'Nice'." He finished with a almost vicious tone. "Study and self-reliance. Those are the keys."
Nightshift allows one corner of his mouth to curve into a sardonic half smile as he listens to the bickering, saying nothing. If any of them knew what war was really like, they were doing their level best to hide the fact. He did notice the chaplain's tone and hoped whatever intel the mission commander had would be of use...assuming he chose to divulge it. Nightshift began a series of nearly motionless exercises designed to heighten the senses and relieve tension before a mission. He was in the moment. That was where he preferred to be.
Torpas listens to his com feed and then decides to break the news to the others under his care. "Listen up rookies I just got word that the LZ has been made. Which means we are going in hot, remember we will be staying until relieved. If you cannot trust the pony next to you you are as good as dead. No heroics at all, you lot are here because we need to see if you are true chapter material. Preform last rites we touchdown in ten minutes!" yells Torpas as the twin linked heavy bolters on the small frontal fins of the thunderhawk start to fire.
