Darky grabbed his weapons and went outside with Luna. "Stay inside!" Luna said to them. Celestia also went there. The guards started fighting the zombies, using spells and every weapon they had at their disposal.
Tia moved back the guards to the castle to defend the walls and closed the gates an any form to get inside to protect it from them.
The horde of mindless zombies are trying to destroy the gates. "Darky, do something!These won't last forever..."-Luna said.
"Hey, I'm not the only alicorn in here!" Darky said. he took out his sword and started flaying around, decapitating the zombies at a fast speed so they didn't catch him. After a moment he came back. "There are too many."
Darky started thinking. "Hold on dear, I got a plan." His horn started glowing and he released a shield around Canterlot, pushing back the zombies. "I'll hold it as much as I can..." He then said. "Get traps around the wall and get ready to fight them again."
Luna nodded and went to set some traps. Wright felt a little bit useless since Darky told him to stay inside...
Darky was starting to get tired. All the zombies attacking the shield was making him use even more magic to hold it. He turned to Wright. "Help me... with the shield..." he said.
Darky felt a little bit better after he helped him, but he hoped they finished putting the traps soon,he didn't knew how long will they be able to hold the shield.
Darky nodded. He looked quite tired. "Everypony, get ready to fight." He said to the guards. "I'm bringing the shield down."
"Are you sure?That horde is full of zombies!If they can affect anyone of us, we would face the worse!"-Wright said.
"The traps will take down a good amount of them, also we will fight faway from them." Darky said. "And I can't hold the shield any longer."
Darky brought down the shield and the guards got into position to fight, launching spells and all that stuff. Darky shivered a little, then fell, but Luna caught him just before that with her hooves. "Thank you dear." Darky said in a weak voice. "I'm here for you." Luna said nuzzling him. She sat down with him between her hooves and nuzzled him more, like if nothing was happening around them.
"Are you serious?"-He shouted Luna and Darky, using his magic to defend the castle-"Help us a hoove!"
"I- I'm sorry." Luna said blushing. She laid down Darky ina bench so he could rest and went to help. Darky closed his eyes and rested for a while.
Wright was still defending the castle.Suddenly, a zombie attacked him from behind. He realized that and defended himself, but he doesn't know did he get infected or not. "God dammit..."-He said.
