This looks like it could be good. No, awesome! A friend told me about this today, and told me to look it up. I'm quite excited for this now, looks awesome!
Wow, that looks beautiful! I love the art style, it's refreshingly steampunk while still looking clean Did I see Mirror's Edge style platforming as well? Looks set to be awesome, can't wait to see more!
Ah, nice to see this game getting more and more attention. I have been keeping an eye on this ever since it had a column in an Xbox magazine last year, and apparently the story itself has some of the minds of those that worked on the Half-Life Series and Fallout, so I am 99% adamant that this game will be a gem. Steampunk is a seal of approval in itself, and I cannot wait for this game. Never saw the trailer, so thanks for putting that up, the premise is looking more original than before. My attention is on Dishonoured.
Looks like a sci-fi version of Assassins creed so not sure if my sort of thing. I might try it but idk.
No, this looks like it'll actually involve stealth, unlike AC. I'll be buying this one methinks, only one thing, Bethesda are publishing it not developing it, Arkane Studios are.
Call of Duty? Where? Unless you're referring to the gritty art style which kind of resembles World at War. Mmm... this is why I'm not certain, but the game has some experienced and skilled staff behind this. And Bethesda Softworks... Brink *cough* Wet *cough* Terrible games *cough*
Aside from the cool steampunk setting, it looks like more of the samey ultra-violent stuff. I certainly won't cut it down before we know anything about it, though. If they give me a chance to explore that awesome looking universe it is set in, I'll get it for sure. Trailer also gives me bad memories of Mirror's Edge. There's a reason platform games are rarely ever in first-person. I'm hoping the new Hitman game won't be dark as hell the whole way through and will provide as wide a variety of assassination options as the older games did, at least. BTW, if you guys want a real stealth game, try Thief II. You can't beat the classics.
So much this! I love the Thief games. I think I mentioned in the Bioshock Infinity thread, the protagonist of that sounds like it is the same voice actor as Garrett from the Thief series. [/Threadjack] I hope this game doesn't decide to do too much. It looks like it can't decide if it want to be futuristic or steampunk or mystical. Be great at one or two things in the game instead of mediocre in everything. But it looks interesting so far.
