Spoiler: From the DA description I had this story typed out to accompany this piece, but I was having trouble with the dialogue so I scrapped it. Could possibly go back to it in the future, though, I can give a gist of it here: On his way into Ponyville one morning, Azure encounters the local hot-shot. She notices his wingspan as he's stretching and his cutie mark -a sharp-feathered pegasus wing- which signifies that he's a skilled flier. After some banter between the two, she challenges him to a race, to which he politely refuses. Like the competitive pony she is, she switches tactics to try and get him to race her by mocking him. This tactic fails as well as he bids the confused mare a farewell and continues on his trek towards town. "Why else would a pegasus pony have wings like that if they weren't using them for competitive flying?... and why is he walking?! And that would be about the extent of the interaction with any character within the cast, because at some point it just becomes ridiculous and annoying(like that whole hilarious Skywind fiasco) I'd like to eventually convert the rest of my OCs into ponies as well so that I could do stuff in my own little world within the MLP universe. FYI: The tree in the foreground came from Zelda: A Link to the Past. Thought it fit in with the style of the sprites. Wasn't sure where to post this since it involved both OC and a non-OC.
That is a really nice picture, Blu! I never saw it before. Also, why'd that description have to remind me of Skywind? Now I need to go back and forget him like everypony else with sense. Also Jaret, I sure didn't. Hopefully you'll recover it eventually.
I found it. Though I did not find the actual animated gif, but the frame by frame folder on my PC. Ok, this is it - IF i ever learn how to make an OS, I'll definitely make something with recovery functions even after deletion :3
This is my first basic outline of Sol: I like to use the generator to make the basic idea, then use Adobe Illustrator CS5 to make better vector art. He's the actual opposite of Luna, because I always thought of Celestia as more of the Universe god, With Sol and Luna being the Sun and Moon, respectively. What do you guys think?
I always find that the generator is a good way for outlining. Later on, I'll add more details to this little filly here and position her in different poses using some sort of vector image editing tool. Anyhow, as for her name, I would believe the logical one would b 'Testyal'. However, that sounds rather odd, does it not? Hm...

I don't think I've posted here yet, so here we go: This is the generated picture + Cutie Mark And this is the version, Virgil has drawn for me. (Which is way more than 20% cooler) A bit of background story: His name, as you might've guessed, is Flash. He's the captain of equestria's weather patrol and shares leadership positions of the "Black Lightning" flight crew with, Raindrop. His special talent shows in his ability to control lightning. And that's about it^^
Ah, so that's why you kept striking me with bolts during our battles. How fun. But yeah, Virgil's drawings are some of the best I've ever seen.
