Ah. Good points, all of them. Either way, there's pro and cons. I suppose this is the best situation. To be honest, I've never thought much about it, since I've never gotten Rep before, and never been tempted to give out Rep.

I uphold the idea of mods giving us the titles. Actually... this reminds me of those aboriginal naming ritual things... Once you reach a certain number of posts, you are cast into the everfree, left to survive amongst the trolls and haters, and when you emerge, you are given a title to represent what you are, what your soul gleams through the veil of flesh and bytes as seeming. ... Ok, it's not gonna be anything like that, but replacing member or senior member with a mod-given title related to how they see you would be interesting...
