Thank you so much I didn't think much of it when I drew but it has grown on me over time. I'd like to redo it sometime and finish it off nicely.
Another little teaser, this time a quick pen sketch with some minor additions using Photoshop. EDIT: First steps, and shock horror, this is actually coming together quite quickly for me. It really is early days yet, I haven't even finished the preliminary sketch, let alone started on the background. The idea is there though, just a matter of spending the time to force it out onto the screen.
Finished my first proper attempt at drawing a pony, and first attempt at semi-realistic hair, I feel like both turned out pretty good. It was actually really fun, I might even consider taking requests at some point, though I definitely won't be spending as much time on them as I did on this drawing.
Thanks so much Vint "Awesome" might be a bit much however. Even though I'm happy with how it turned out, I can't quite seem to get looking light and flow-y, still looks kind of like someone stuck a bunch of hair onto some play-dough lol! I'm sure practice will sort that out in due time though. Also yay for someone other than me posting here, success!
I really need to knuckle down and finish an actual piece, BUT, in the meantime I thought I'd share some brainstorming I've been doing recently. These are some sketches for a long-term project I have in mind, it's too early yet to know if it will actually come to anything, but it's making for good drawing practice anyway. Enjoy
*Pops into existence* I bought some art supplies the other day, some small notepads and pens so I'll have pen and paper with me everywhere to jot down ideas. And a little sketch book. As you can see I spared no expense spending almost 6 entire dollars! This is the first drawing I've done in the notepads. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I'm going to need more pens if I keep doing night skies like those. See you sometime in the future my friends *pops out of existence*
