The walk was silent after that. They eventually arrived at the cave. "So... Think the hoard here is still full?"
"Let's hope it's something worth getting." Scale laughed. "And not something we regret coming back for!"
Equinox chuckled,"yeah...", then detached the cart, walked into the cave, pulling a torch off the cart & lighting it
"Still so dark in here. Oh well. The hoard was at the back of the cave, yes?" Scale rushed ahead, his fire-lit horn providing minor light.
"Oh yeah, magic...", equinox mumbled, lighting 100 feet around her,"yeah, it should be!", equinox called out, chasing after him
Scale stopped at the crack in the wall leading to the inner sanctum. "Is there any chance there were like babies in there or something? Or maybe that one dragon we saw had friends who were coming here?"
"There's a chance, but babies... Drakes aren't much older than babies...", equinox said, walking through
"Oh, in that case." Scale smiled and followed Equinox through, looking around the room. (what do you think of my new avatar?)
"This could have been less of a dramatic way to get there. This is like... end game boss material. Y'know. Saying "get ready, here he cooooomes~!"" (only the ones that I think are worthy of noting. Avarice, Dreamer, Obsidian, and the currently nameless, wingless, changeling.)
(Lol, I have a changer that can't fly, he's nicknamed wings) equinox & scale walk into the large caver with loads of bits, & other things, & one large dragon,"oh s***"
"WHAT DID I SAY! WOOO!" Scale bolts to the side, hiding behind a pile of bits. He quickly loads his cannon and looks over to equinox. He also grabs a few bits and drops them into the cannon.
"This jerk is HUUUGE. Let's make it a fair fight!" Scale jumps on top of the pile, his horn sparks red, and the cannon fires. The cannon is covered in a golden fluid. Scale had melted the bits. When the cannon reached the monster's face, it exploded, covering it in a thin layer of liquid gold, which quickly hardened. "Direct hit!"
"This is like taking candy from a foal. Except a giant scaled one... and we're taking gold... and you're stabbing it, a lot. Actually... It really isn't like that at all." Chirpy flew into the cave, landing on Scale's back. "Hmmm... Ooooh, I got it. Limit!" He yells and fires straight at the ground, launching himself into the air. His horn sparks pale blue and he grabs the phoenix's feet, before spinning in place and throwing the now supercharged ice bird down at the dragon's stomach. "BREAK! Haha!" (yes. he has a limit break. it's a supercharged ice phoenix. jelly much?)
"That was a pathetic final boss... but not for the first dungeon! Ooooh. Final boss... Great Wyrm!" He laughs and looks around the filled room. "So... anything actually worth taking here?" The dragon roars loudly, before collapsing forward, it's quick-frozen body shattering instantly.
"Umm, well, not dragon parts... Lets load stuff like bits, &.. OOH, that gold encrusted chest!", equinox replied, grabbing the chest
