"I guess you've got a point... I don't get why she won't let me be with somepony, or put myself in danger..."
He looked at Equinox and smiled. "You're right. Celestia is a nut job. Heh, maybe we can overthrow her, hahahaha."
"Yea..." He started walking a bit faster, suddenly stopping when a rumbling sound echoed in the trees around them.
"What the..." another crash echoed, and a roar could be heard in the distance. A large shadow jumped up from the forest, hidden from the sun behind it, before crashing back down. "huh. Wanna run?"
Scale wasn't far behind them. another roar echoed, and the beast's jump could be heard. The symbol under Scale's eye started to glow slightly as the creature came closer. "This is not a fight we'd win, is it?" he yelled to Equinox, starting to pant slightly.
The monster landed close enough to see, sending a shock wave out that knocked the three of them over. It appeared to be Cerberus, but was bright white instead of pitch black. It's eyes were all a solid yellow color and it drooled as it roared again. It wore a collar with a shining gem, carved into the shape under Scale's eye. It stared at them and bared it's teeth in a growl. "This isn't a dragon... but something tells me we ought to slay it anyway..."
Equinox stood up & unsheathed her scimitar & held it ready to attack the dog-like creature stone slowly stood up, struggling because his armor
Scale followed suite, jumping to his hooves, but quickly collapsed slightly, grabbing his cheek as the symbol burned. "Gah!"
Equinox shots the Cerberus with her crossbow, held by her magic, in one of its heads stone was all they way up & drew his sword, charging the cerberus
Scale struggled back to his feet and aimed the cannon for the beast, firing and striking it's center head, but knocking himself back to the other two in the process.
"Hey...", equinox said with a slight chuckle, then shot the Cerberus more stone charged the serberus, then attacked it
(Are you aware you spelled Cerberus two different ways in that post?) "The collar. Hit the-" Scale nearly fell to his knees. "Hit the collar. It's doing something to me!"
