"If you insist." He smirks and grabs the blanket, wrapping it around himself like a cloak, and putting the bits into a slot on the cannon. "Ready to go?"
"They're worth more alive, so try to keep on alive...", equinox says, chuckling at his comment, then stowing the net, & unsheatheing the scimitar
"Big dark cave. How classy. Eh, better than the top of an active volcano." He looked around the entrance as they reached the opening, seeing bones of more than a few different species laying about.
"Heh, looks like some of these were just it's dinner. Maybe... two of them were here willingly. That's my bet." He kicks a gryphon hip-bone out of his way. "Could be worse. At least none-of them are armored."
"Yeah... Alright, so, in this cave there is supposed to be 3 drakes, 2 male 1 female, & from what I've learned there males are typically stronger, & more valuable alive than a female...", equinox whispers, making a dim light of magic
"Ok, so take out 1 male first, then the female, then worry about keeping the other male not dead. Sounds like a good plan to me." Scale snickers quietly before completely shutting his mouth. Silence filled the cave as they walked.
*clip clop clip clop* (lol) There was 2 drakes visible, that were both sleeping, one with medium horns, & another with med-small,"there's two of them..." (Today's my d&d nite, less posting for me)
"Should be an easy take out. Which we goin for first? Tiny horn, or tinier horn?" Scale readies the cannon, and a gust of wind flows into the cave making the blanket/cloak flutter around him dramatically. (No prob with me, I have my GF's b-day to go to. I wish I could play games like that, but I can never understand stat things. RP stats, pokemon stats, warcraft stats, D&D stats. No idea how to make em work.)
"Hope you're ready to charge in screaming." Scale clicks a button and the cannon is loaded. "Just say when."
"I'm going to try to incapacitate the med horns...", equinox says, then teleport beside the smaller horned one, & points to scale, then the larger horned drake
(since I'm a bit lost as to which one I'm shooting at, I wont specify.) Scale nodded and aimed to his target. Time stood still as the cannon fired. The ball struck the dragon's head, and exploded and all chaos seemed to break out. The sound echoed throughout the cave and shook the walls slightly, and the dragon jumped back as it woke up in pain. It roared and it's companion started up to defend it's sibling.
(Who said they're siblings? Also you attacked large horn) equinox hacked her blade into the smaller horned drake in its left foreleg
(huh, I was making an assumption. I didnt want to say companion.) Scale's horn let out a few large red sparks, right as another cannonball fired at the drake. "Suck this!" The cannonball lit on fire and shut into the dragon's nostril before exploding and causing fire to shoot out of it's mouth and nose. The creature, shook it's head and started to charge at him. (you can control your drake)
Equinox hacked into the leg once more, then the drake breathed fire at equinox, but was stopped by a magical barrier
"Not havin any problems I hope!" Scale shouts out to Equinox as he uses the cannon to launch up and over the charging dragon, who slams into the wall after turning it's head to watch him. He land's on it's back and presses the cannon right on it's back, before firing another shot, which sends him flying and leaves a large, torn up, bloody crater on it's back. Scale lands, with a slight grunt, on his feet. (just warn me if I get too "gory" (torn up bloody crater on it's back))
(Just don't go into much detail...) "I'm doing great!", equinox replied, teleporting up a small ledge. then shooting it in its left hind leg with a bone bolt, causing it to be much slowed with movement...
