"I-I umm... I guess so...", equinox says wincing, then takes off the bandages & heals herself perfectly,"I love dawn...", she whispers
"So do I. Nothing like a sun-rise to start a day. Of course, you being able to heal yourself is a relief. Wouldn't want you to be scarred." Scale smiles and offers his hoof to help Equinox stand up.
Equinox walks with him,"oops, forgot one, there's 4; dusk, dawn, a solar eclipse, &, when I'm really powerful, during an equinox..."
Scale stops in his tracks and looks at Equinox. "No. No we are not. I can't let you take such a risk. Noone has even made a record of the thing and lived..."
"I don't care. That thing took down Starshield Broken the eighth. We don't stand a chance." Scale stomped his hoof.
"Someday... Someday I'm gonna kill one of those things, th~~ m~~~~ ~~~y'll.....", equinox says, her voice fading to a mumble after the word 'things'
"Yea... Sure you will. Until then, you'll do things that are only slightly impossible. Like kill dragons with a cannon wielding elemental at your side."
"Ok... Ok, I believe you. Sorry I'm worried about you getting hurt." He frowned and stepped closer to her.
"If we're gonna be fighting that thing in seven days... I think we're gonna need some better weapons than these." He smiled and motioned to an elder deer. "Fortunately, he knows where to get em, but it won't exactly be easy... He told me about the ancient Phoenix gun. It fires balls of magical energy. And then there's the Gryphon wing blade... I figure they can't hurt..."
"Alright. If you say so. The deer said they have a cart packed up for us with some supplies, and our weapons. We can leave whenever you feel like it." Scale pointed to the cart a little ways off.
"We need to get back to the cave because they might have a horde there, then take go to Canterlot to collect our money... Plus I never do what I can to calm mom & celestia down..."
