Now last night was an odd one, it didn't directly include ponies, but it was about this site. The dream was me doing my usual routine every morning, getting up after my Mom has taken my brother to school and going on Everypony for a bit. I then go back to sleep (sleeping while I'm sleeping....ORIGINAL INCEPTION!!) Then, when my dream self wakes up again, I see my mom's car driving up to the house, with my brother from school, and it was only about 10:00 AM. My brother then proceeds to hog the computer, and I get no time to visit Everypony, and then I wake up. It was truly a nightmare and it showed me two things: 1. I need my own freakin' laptop. 2. I have genuinely lost my mind if I'm dreaming of Everypony.
I was also thinking of making this kind of thread earlier in the week, but I totally forgot to come on to here! -- I have had my share of pony dreams since I started watching FiM. But only recently have I started writing rhe ones I remember that were good enough down. So far, their have been six dreams like that. I don't remember every single thing that happened in them, mostly because not enough interesting things happened in them, anyway, so for every one except the first one (which is actually the oddest one so far) I'll just put down the basic premise of them. Dream #1: It was the premiere of the second season and it had a Pinkie Pie song in it. The song itself was what made part of this dream strange. Oh man, it's so odd, I'm actually trying hard not to laugh right now! Honestly! Well, for some reason, Pinkie was singing about dentistry! Yeah, you read that right! Honest-to-god dentistry! When you think about it, it's kind of like that one musical number in the movie "Little Shop of Horrors". And she was sying things like "It's not fun to eat a whole bunch of sugary treats like I do, becase then you'll rot out all your little-wittle teeth out like that! And that's not fun, is it?" But don't worry, there wasn't even anything violent about the song. The side story in this "episode" was that Rarity was a paranormal investigator. Yeah, you read that right also. No lie! Well, first something I should say is that me, my brother and one of his friends were all watching this together. After that zany "episode" we all played with our new pony toys we bought before watching "the premiere of season 2". What amde this part odd was were listening to Slayer's "World Painted Blood" album. Weird dream, eh? The following dreams are the ones I only remember the basic premise of them. Dream #2: I went to the GGG and spent the whole with Applejack and rainbow Dash Dream 3: Me and Pinkie Pie went to the beach together Dream #4: Went to the GGG with the entire mane 6 These last two nothing major happened in them, just that two ponys were in them for some reason Dream #5: I was a twork and Trixie was there Dream #6: Cheerilee came to my house, and me and my family talked with her. ^this one I had just last night, too.
Well, I'm going to bed and hoping to have a really good pony dream tonight! Fingers crossed, hooves...um...whatever the pony equivalent for crossing your fingers is.
Sigh I have made 2 PMVs, was at the Brony Day episode marathon and now wrote a Brony Blog and I still haven't had a dream with ponies. Well it probably doesn't help that I havn't had any dreams at all that I know of.
I think these dreams are gonna stick around. Perhaps I should start noting down the events from these; perhaps I can write my first fanfic out of it. I did get a little further this time, there's now a definite starting point for the tour. For me it's not surprising that it turns out to be the library (being a booklover myself, it makes sense).
Well, as for me, I know I'm a human in my dreams. I don't have a ponysona (is that the right word for it?), and I don't plan to. I have nothing against it or anything. It's just not for me. You said something that really sparked my interest there— the part about seeing what you look like in a dream. This led me to think about most of the dreams I could remember, and to be honest, I don't think I've ever actually "seen" myself in one of my dreams before. I can just more or less just tell that I'm human, I guess, if that makes sense. Kinda like playing a videogame, but it's in your point of view. Also, from my first dream, I could tell I was human because I could sense the size difference between Twilight and myself. Also, concerning any people that I encountered in that dream (I didn't mention that, but I encountered some), I was at the same eye-level as I would have been with them in reality. Not to mention when I'm walking or running in my dreams thus far, it feels like I'm a biped, not a quadruped. @Zephyr Wind: Haha. I haven't had a dream of this place yet, but maybe I will in due time. I have had dreams of me sleeping before. How weird. A dream within a dream. @Skydancer1993: Wow. Six dreams and you've had dreams of not only the mane six, but other characters as well! I'm jealous. lol. Your first dream seemed a bit scary though. Pinkie singing about dentistry seems so contrary to her character. As for myself, last night I actually encountered another one of the ponies in my dreams at last! Can you guess which one? Naturally, it was Pinkie Pie! Who else? First it was her songs, now she herself has joined in. Unfortunately, the pony part of my dream was minor, I'm sad to say. All I remember is I think I was in an auditorium and a presentation of some sort was coming to a conclusion. As it was ending, I was getting ready to leave when the person sitting next to me (a stranger) grabbed my arm and said, "Where are you going? You can't leave now!" I said, "Why?" He said, "Because it's Pinkie Pie's birthday!" Then I noticed toward the back of the auditorium a pink figure was walking down the aisle. I soon realized it was Pinkie Pie! For some reason, I suddenly ran behind the stage and saw people were making preparations. Why I would ever do such a thing is anypony's guess. I said, "Come on! You guys have to hurry up! Pinkie Pie is here!!!" Then when I walked back out front, Pinkie was standing right in front of me and she looked up at me and I looked down at her (this is how I knew I was also a human, by the way. The size/height difference), and suddenly felt nervous, then— the dream ended. I mean, what the heck? I wanted to interact with her more than that! I also wanted to see what the party was like! I hate when that happens. Next time I'm sleeping, hopefully the dream will continue where it left off. I've had that happen before. I want to be at Pinkie's birthday party!
Had another one last night... I remembered a lot more this time. Well, as I was walking along with Applejack she mentioned her friends were going to meet up at the Library and hang out. I agreed this would be a great idea to meet the others - the tour could wait. Apparently I was expected, something about a letter or something or other had come in saying I'd be coming. Applejack seemed to get a little shy all of a sudden and started saying she had to get back to applebucking (and it was definitely shyness - so unusual for Applejack!) But just as she went to go, Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity then show up and get her back inside (reminding her of the plan for everyone to meet up). I am definitely a pony in these dreams, as they started talking about my cutie mark, and my colour (which is apparently a blue, but a darker shade than Dashie's). The cutie mark was interesting. It was an open book, but that alone wasn't what drew attention. On one of the open pages was Twilight's cutie mark. This surprised everyone and really got some wild speculation going. Twi introduced herself (as did the other ponies that had arrived - Fluttershy wasn't in yet, but was apparently coming "Where is Fluttershy?" Rarity asked), and we started chatting casually, and naturally talk gravitated towards books. She was so excited to be talking to somepony who loved their books, and a Unicorn no less! At any rate, we were getting on like a house on fire when Fluttershy shows up (shy as ever)... Twilight said she'd take over the tour of town. And that's where the dream ended.
I have pony dreams all the time, usually they'd make some pretty good episodes. Except for the fact that, and I don't understand why, I keep walking in on different couples going at it, it's kind of mentally scarring for a kid like me. Especially the fact that it's usually lesbian parings.
Blame that on the non-stop shipping. If I was to have that happen in my dream it would be a nightmare. I do not need to see that while I'm sleeping.
Wow, your dreams seem to make sense at least. Mine are just so abstract, I literally can't explain them using words. Also, knowing my warped mind, I think it's best I don't dream of ponies. I'll probably dream of something so sickeningly disturbing, I'll never see them in the same way again.
A lot of my dreams involve ponies xD I have normal dreams, but ponies are just in there somewhere. I've never had an all-pony dream though.
I'm inclined to agree. The dream itself probably wouldn't bother me as much as the feeling I'd have after I woke up. I'd feel disgusted with myself. As I mentioned in one of my earlier posts, my mind has come up with things for me to dream about that I've never thought of. Let's just say, the dream I had was not rated G and it involved someone that I never would think of in that way. I'll just leave it at that. So, you see, I'd feel pretty strange if that happened to me. No offense to anypony that likes that sort of thing. I don't mind if anypony else likes it. To each their own. So, should we expect an avatar of your ponysona soon? Hehe. This brings up an interesting point (yes, sometimes even one word can do that). I've read Cupcakes twice and even one if its sequels (I blame my curiosity for this), and, thankfully, have not had any dreams about it yet. Although, sometimes I think I have dreams in queue. What I mean by that is, I may not dream about something I've seen, read, or heard about until many weeks later. I surely hope I don't have one though. By the way, Techna_Rave, that was a pretty good song/video there.
It's normally not my style to double-post, which makes the implication that I have a posting-style, but I had a couple brony dreams last night that I'd like to share. Um... if you don't mind, that is. Unfortunately, as per usual, the bulk of the dreams were not brony-related (how boring, right?), so I'll just give you the snippets that are relevant. 1st Dream: I was evidently in a city. I don't remember much of what happened, except one specific detail and it's that I was texting a member from this forum. I remember exactly who it was too. I'll give you a hint: :derpe:. Anyway, supposedly we were trying to meet up somewhere for a brony convention, I think. Also, how did they get my phone number? 2nd Dream: I was running around the town I grew up in. I don't remember exactly why. I was in a hurry apparently, but for some strange reason, at random intervals, I'd start running on all fours. If that's not strange enough, when I started to do this, not only did it feel natural, but I would hear the clopping sound (the real meaning of the word, by the way) of hooves whenever I did it. It was as if I suddenly turned into a pony at random times. So, I had my first everypony.com related dream and my first dream of me evidently morphing into a pony. The ponies' takeover of my subconscious continues...
I've been having repeated dreams that I'm Twilight looking for a present for Pinkie Pie, but it might be influenced by the fact that my birthday is forthcoming.
I do tend to dream about the last thing i did on my computer when i go to bed, be that Age of Empires, a story I was writing, or ponies. I know it's July but last night I had a dream about a Christmas episode (I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!). So here's how it goes... So we start off in Ponyville and Christmas is just around the corner and Twilight doesn't know what to get for any of her friends. So she and Spike are walking around Ponyville looking for something to buy when Twilight bumps into Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie turns around and when she sees Twilight she does her little gasp thing (like the first time they met) and runs away. Spike: Ok...that was really weird. Twilight: Weird? This IS Pinkie Pie we're talking about. Spike: Oh yeah...what are you gonna get for Pinkie Pie? Twilight: *hangs head* I don't know... Twilight reveals that she doesn't know what to get for any of her friends because she's afraid they wont like it (this I think kinda reflects on my own insecurities about gift giving). So as she keeps looking for gifts she is sure to keep her friends in mind. To spare you the whole long story, mostly because I don't remember all of it, Twilight gets awesome gifts from all her friends and she loves them and then she feels even more insecure about her own gifts. When her friends open their gifts they love them not only because they were perfect for each pony but because they came from the heart. The story ended with a letter to Princess Celestia. This was seriously just like watching an episode I made up in my head.
