Dreaming about....ponies?

Zephyr, I think I understand what you mean, but if I ever have a dream that does go any further than that, I'm sure DanSze would just love it if I sent him a PM all about it. Haha.

In other news, I had some bits of pony in my dreams last night. One took place at a place of previous employment. At some point after I left, they purchased and installed a large golden Pinkie Pie statue. I just remember saying something like, "I wish you guys had a Pinkie Pie statue when I was still here." I also recall trying to take a photo of it with my phone.

Another bit had Jackle App's "Giggle at the Ghostly" in it (Yes! Another Pinkie song!).

What is it about Pinkie Pie that makes me dream about her?! Also, this is the second time a Jackle App song has infiltrated my subconscious.

 

I had a recurring dream for the past few nights. It starts with me packing up my stuff from my locker and getting ready to leave. When I get on the bus from school, I see that there are only like, seven people there. I take my seat, and wait for what feels like an hour before more people come onto the bus and start screaming and making a horrible amount of noise like they usually do. I do my best to ignore it, and as soon as the bus starts moving, I wake up.

This happened twice, exactly the same. Then the third time, it ended differently.

After I got on the bus, I saw the same people sitting in the same places. As I was about to sit in my regular spot, I saw Twilight in the back, staring at me. I suddenly remembered that I completely forgot about 6th period (which I have as Teacher Assistant), rush out of the bus and run down the halls as fast as I can to make it to the classroom on time. When I get there, my teacher smiles at me, and then I wake up.

Then I realized something. In the other two dreams, Twilight was there the whole time- I just didn't notice her.

*shudder*





When it comes to education, Twilight never forgets.

And she never forgives.

 

Lately I've been too stressed to remember my dreams - my sleep is more of the "I lay down, close my eyes, then wake up and its morning" variety. However, I do have lucid dreams, so I'm sure if I do remember a pony dream (and I know I'm having them), it'll be a doozy. I'll make sure to tell you all about it.

Oh, and here's an idea for people who have trouble remembering dreams: Write down whatever you remember. I started doing that in the fifth grade, and have a very good memory for dreams now - except when I'm exhausted/stressed, like now.

Hmm, need more ponies.

 

I had a lucid-ish dream once before because of a video game that basically taught me that touching things will take you somewhere else.

As soon as I did this I was like "OH MY GOD I'M DREAMING"

This was promptly followed with "Ok that's cool *forgets*"

I was so angry in the morning.

If I could lucid dream, there would be quite a few ponies.

 

Interesting Zephyr . . . Could just be some deep seated fear at discovery - or are you out of the closet? I forget these things. (Damn aging process!) I shan't worry about it too much, sometimes dreams are just dreams.

Last night, I did have my first pony related dream. It wasn't me in Ponyville so much as I was at the animator's studios, looking around and watching clips I found on computers. I was pretending to be an animator - not sure how I did that, and it didn't really work as they found me. But, the just went, "Oh, a Brony made it in here. No big deal." And let me watch videos!

 

It finally happened I had my first pony dream last night. It wasn't about me in ponyville meeting the mane cast or anything. It was about real life and me trying to and successfully converting some key people in my life to become bronies. It also had a disturbing scene where I was acting very out of my personality and out of the way I would normally expect bronies to behave. My memory of the dream is very hazy and several things happened that didn't seem to have any logical connection. So I will try to summarise it.

I was on some kind of road trip with my classmates and one of my best friends in the class was driving. I was reading some kind of book about brony philosophy or something. All I remember about it was that it had something to do with ponies and myself in the dream treasured it greatly. Then for some reason my friend who was driving took the book off me as well as my phone and wallet and put them on top of the sun shield flap thing, don't remember what it was called. I remember their being some reason that I tried to be patient to wait to get it back. I eventually ran out of patience and reached for my stuff, but my friend slapped my hand away. So I submitted and continued waiting. Eventually I started getting angry and shouted at my friend asking why I can't have it back and then I punched him and forcefully grabbed my stuff and shouted angrily at him and he shouted angrily back. I have no memory of the actual words used and we were both furious at each other for the rest of the trip.

Then either I arrived at a destination or this was a completely different dream. I was in a shopping center with my mom and as we were walking she told me she watched MLP:FiM and she enjoyed it and I brohoof! and started talking about it with her. Then all of a sudden I was walking with my best friend, who I now only talk to online because we live in different cities. He too told me he was finally brony and enjoyed the show. (In real life I have sent him several message arguing for the show and I have convinced him to watch 5 episodes but his response was "it's an okay show but I'm not interested enough to watch more". So we started talking about it. Then I was with my Mum again and we were in some kind of caravan park at night. I was talking to my Mum and she said she didn't like the show anymore after watching 14 episodes and as I asked, my memory of the dream ends.

This was one of those dreams that felt real so I woke up for a moment thinking I had converted my best friend but as soon as I realised I was lying in my best, I thought "damn it was only a dream".

 

Congratulations, Setzertrancer! You have now crossed beyond the threshold into the realm of pony-dreams! That was definitely an interesting one. To me it sounds like some wishful thinking created this dream— your mother and best friend becoming bronies. A book on brony philosophy, huh? That's a rather interesting thought. Sounds like a Brony Bible or something. Uh oh, Setzer, even though you may have rejected the concept of Bronyism (that FB page I linked before), your subconscious likes the idea! Haha. Just kidding around of course. I don't think I'd want it to be a religion anyway. Then again, I'm not religious, so that's probably why.

I'm still waiting on RL Bronys to talk to, hopefully I can create some after my presentation.

I have actually sent my mum messages about MLP but she hasn't replied to them.

I told my grandmother about the show, briefly. I didn't want her to think I'm too insane. I'm not sure it would be a good idea to tell her about the blog. She's a a bit conservative.

I'm non-religious too Epony. But I am actually scaring myself a bit with how zealous I am over this show.

Well if I have another pony dream I will report back.

Ponyception or Confound These Ponies, They Drive Me to Dream!

About a week ago, the ponies have finally managed to ponycept my dreams for the first time. It was just a short segment, though.

The dream was about a quite grimdark MLP:FiM feature movie. At the very beginning, I saw Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle and Ditzy Doo in a cell, a somewhat spacious cell with the floor and walls made of maroon stones and some mattresses and blankets for beds lying on the floor, but still a cell. The three had been arrested for something they hadn't done, and it was pretty clear that the true reason why they were locked in that cell was because someone needed them out of their way. What would have followed, had that dream continued, was the other ponies trying to get their friends out of their, clear their names, and find out what happened at all. That, and quite likely a flashback about how the three got in there in the first place.

 

thats it,im gonna start going to bed early,more sleep= more dreams,and when i drema i take control! its the one place where i can do things i cant do in real life ,like eats sweets and cake and the like
