Rarity practically blurs as she rushes towards the two fillies. She hisses the quiet death threats under breath while storming straight for them both. And then there was cheering. Applebloom and Sweetie Belle joined in with the hooves and the cheers from the crowd that had decided to watch, around them both. The demon had been slain by the three figures standing around the small patch of destruction and vines. Rarity could hardly believe any of the information meeting her eyes, resulting in a wide-eyed, jaw-hanging face while she spent that split second deciding what to do. There was the necromancer pony here, sweeping bones away after turning a body into spare parts. The things Twilight mentioned about the Everfree Sorcerer caused every hair on her mane to stand on end while that shiver slides down her spine. There was a brightly coloured fox here, bowing to the other fighters. Considering the last one to arrive caused a good deal of damage before starting to put anything right, the sudden urge for a moat and nine-foot stone walls around the beautique grips her. "Girls, let's go. Quickly now! We don't want to be late." Rarity sing-songs to the two fillies, nudging Sweetie Belle along with her hoof. The urgency was met with a chorus of: "Awww..." but no speed in the filly's movements, the need to leave written on the mare's face.
He lurched up into the air and swirled his hooves through the air with the white fires of soul energy. As the three stones shatter and the souls return to their original bodies he swept his hooves back down and pounded into the dirt. "To hold control over death, you must understand and command life as well. At least a little bit. Otherwise you're just a fool." He spread his hooves and blew dust at the bodies... mostly for effect... as he used his soul control power to reattach the ponies back to their now re-collected and constructed bodies... literally breathing life back into them. "You see, if they can be saved quick enough, they don't have to be zombies." He pulled up his hood, leaving them to figure it out as he wandered back to Ambiance. "You made sure the bones didn't get too damaged, right?" Completely ignoring the third party that mysteriously appeared at the same time as the daemon.
Blizzard silently fumed as the Necromancer ignored her and walked right passed to her companion. That was, until she began to think he knew. Perhaps he could sense the dark magic from Ruggard coming off of her. Perhaps he was just biding his time so the townsfolk could surround her. "Your thoughts betray you." Calhad whispered sagely, speaking sense for once. "You don't know any of this...Just calm down. You'll be fine." Blizzard gulped, and nodded slightly, a little to scared to speak mentally or physically. It was moments like these where she slightly appreciated Cal. So she stood there waiting for someone to acknowledge her.
Dark Shine looked back to his house one last time before setting off. He knew where he was going. Dead Rose Grove. No-pony knew where it was. And even then, nopony would want to. However, Dark Shine had lived there for years, so knew it well. It would be like his own safe haven until he thought it safe to return to civilization. He began on his small journey. First place to go through, was one of the harder. Poison Joke fields.
The Keyblade disappearing in a small shower of sparkles and tiny hearts, Ambiance turned toward the vulpine creature that had emerged from outside of town. She recognized his/her voice as belonging to the one who shouted for their assistance. She bowed slightly. "I am, as I announced before, Princess Ambiance of Equestria." She winced as she heard the sickening sounds of Eight Star "repairing" the bodies of the guards. Their coming back to life only served to unsettle her even more. T'is truly the magic of the Dread Witch Nightmare Moon... Turning to face Eight Star, she replied to him, "No, I did not touch them. Nor would I want to." The Princess suddenly became very nervous of the crowd that surrounded the trio. Twilight had instructed her to keep her title a secret, and she instead went and shouted it for everyone to hear. From what little Twilight had told her about the Royal family in this world, Princesses were typically more like Ambiance's father, Winged Unicorns.
Titus, Tyro, and Sulphy had made it into Ponyville with a large group crowding and cheering around something that smelled of the warp "Heritics!" Titus yelled but nobody could hear him becasue his voice modulator is off. He moved his arms breaking the rope holding him and he pounded his fist into the Flatbed truck making a screaching noise and creating a huge dent. Titus walked off making the ground shake for a couple of seconds Titus started to walk towards the group of ponies aiming his flamethower and minigun at the group almost at range.
"You've nothing to worry about Ambiance. I just can't stand it when ponies lose their lives over unplanned events." He turned towards the approaching mechanical curiosity with his head. "You know... like this kinda thing." Of course, it didn't help matters that the symbol for the Order of Golden Lightning (convenitently stiched into the side of his shroud,) was an eight pointed star of chaos... He grabbed a pouch of magic dust from his robe and kicked the whole of the contents out at the approaching Titus with those big scary weapons and all. As his horn lit up grey he scowled and chanted "Fail Weapons..." fairly simply. The dust became alive with his magic, swarming to the heavy weapons to cut off the usage of projectile weapons. The dust didn't just stop at Titus however, as it became a sparkling cloud in a large area around Eight Star. "I'll have you know that I don't like big guns being pointed my way."
The machine rose out of it's restraints as Tyro and Sulphy alighted from the train. The ropes snapped before he could get there. "I'm glad that worked..." Tyro remarks, watching Titus rise from the flat-bed truck. "He could be handy." And then Titus smashes his heavy fist into the truck. Sulphy scoffs: "Handy. Yeah..." He watches while Tyro bounds after the now wondering, wayward Titus, walking further into town with various bystanders watching on, wondering what the hell was going on. Most figured it out as the distinctive, scarlet fox skips around the machine's legs. "Titus! Titus!" Tyro calls as the metal giant lumbers through town. Clearly, Titus wasn't talking today... They were approaching a dispersing crowd. Curious, Tyro bounds up and down, getting glimpses of something happening. All he can see are piles of vines and a few figures. Then Titus moving too far ahead. Tyro slips back on the tail of the metal giant, who appeared to have all the crowd-dodging skills of a whale. Slinking through the parting ponies, he pokes his head up to see Titus point guns. He puts on a spur, slipping between the crowd to then step straight in front of the mini-gun. "Ah! No! No, no, no, no! Hoofshake over a bullet in the head, all right!" He shouts, standing on his hind legs and waving his paws over his head. Once he lands again, he grins apologetically to the three fighters behind him like the metal monster was a toddler swearing. "Sorry! Giant Death Machines, huh? I mean...." His face droops in sudden fascination. "Wow! I can't believe it..." He passes Eight Star and Ambience, rushing straight towards Blizzard, staring in amazement for a few seconds. "Hi! I'm Tyro!" He said, sticking out a paw for shaking. Hooves land behind Dark Shine. "Nah, ah say you ain't goin' anywhere." The pink pegasus dashes forwards, sliding around and standing between the monochrome pegasus and the Poison Joke fields. "You ain't too smart, lettin' me follow ya like that."
Blizzard blinked in surprise, her eyes widening slightly at the Vixen before her. "A...Another one?" Blizzard mumbled, rising her paw slowly and softly gripped his. "A survivor?" Calhad asked, equally confused. Not many had escaped the collapsing dimension, and one to land on the exact same planet seemed astronomical. Blizzard hushed him, trying to concentrate on not looking to shocked in front of the newcomer. "I'm Blizzard." She answered back, regaining some of her confidence and losing the shocked look. "Would you happen to be a Vixen?" She dared to hope just a bit, that this fox like creature was a survivor.
"What is this dark sorcery?!" Titus yelled in his cockpit as his sensors indicated that his weapons were offline. He could feel the rage of the machine spirits as they focused their anger on one who would dare use such foul magics to disable his weapons. Clearly, this one was a Psyker. But of what race he didn't know. He was a pony...Yet... "Scan him!" Titus ordered, his righteous anger focusing the machine spirits. With a quick scan, he gasped as the realization came to him. The star...The Great Enemy. Corruption. Heretic. "The Great Enemy has touched my body?!" Titus roared, his fury overwhelming himself. Only one thing blasted into his mind. Burn the Heretic. However, as his flamethrower was currently out of commission, all that was heard in the outside world was rapid clicking as Titus tried to reactivate the weapon, in vain.
Dark Shine looked at the Pegasus in front of him, blocking his escape. "Who are you, and why are you not letting me out? All I want is to go away..." He steps back, tripping on a small stick, causing him to fall against a tree.
Tyro squints, lost in confusion. His eyes dart away while he tries to figure out what he meant but all it was impossible to find the answer to what sounded like a misguided pick-up line. "I...er...No. I'm a bloke! A male fox...Well, Kitsune, if we're getting technical." He answers, his two tails starting to twitch with the anxiety. "My face cannot possibly be that feminine, right?" he asks, directing the question towards Ambiance, mainly. "Ain't you been listnin'?" The pink pegasus sneers, encroaching forwards towards Dark Shine. He kicks his head back, shaking both his shoulder length mane and his fedora off his eyes. "You know too much. We gotta know that out of you." The grin widens, and there was silence while this pony stares into Dark Shines eyes. He rushes forwards, throwing a hoof for Dark Shine's jaw.
"Giant machines of doom... foxes... sheesh." He turned to Ambiance and quirks a brow. "The day only gets better... right?" The sorcerer knew plenty better than to leave his misty veil. Especially when the large machine tried to fire its guns at him. Not that he had any actual knowledge of the capabilities of such massive metallic monster, but he was secretly reserving a teleportation cast just in case it tried to crush him in some more physical means. Still looking at Ambiance, he wondered; "Do you think there is another daemon controlling this one as well?" He did notice that the streets were more clearing than anything else. The citizens of Ponyville were adept at panicking and hiding by now. After all of the other issues they had before, closing themselves in their houses was no big ordeal. He turned back to the machine and thrust a hoof out at it with a scowl. "You're scaring the children."
"You are all cultist in my eyes, women and children are never spared." He snarled inside the cockpit. It was clear the village would not be burning, but this would not stop him from exterminating this infestation. "Now may the Empresses have mercy on you." The flamethrower moved up, right above Eight Star before coming down, Titus feeling a sick pleasure as he awaited his cams to show the feeling of bones snapping under his hand.
His head trained to the flamethrower as it rose up above his head. His eyes became tiny, and his ears pinned back and drooped as he said, plainly; "Oh... right." His mind raced as his horn summoned cyan energy to him, creating a spherical wall around him just as the heavy weight came down upon him. He winced as he poured energy against the force, slowing it down dramatically. However, the tonnage was almost too much for him. The sphere burst, and Eight Star got thrown from underneath the flamethrower end just as it crashed into the dirt. He scrambled in the dirt and moved into a headlong dash out to a more open area, trying to put distance between him and the dreadnought, creating a gentle wind with his horn to blow the powder after him, causing the cloud to follow. "I feel like it has a soul, but I don't think it's a golem... but it has no physical body... a machine far beyond us?"
Titus was about to crush the pony until a cyan wall got in the way from him crushing the cultist he easily broke through the wall but the pony was already running."You shall fell the might of the empress!" Titus screamed he started to run at his fastest speed he could go with the blood lust running through his body.
Ambiance had stood idly by for long enough. She had been torn about what to do intitially, as on one hoof, this Eight Star used the same kind of magick as her sworn enemy, the Dread Witch Nightmare Moon. On the other hoof, it was his assistance (however dark it was) that had given her the opening to slay the Poison Joke monster. After seeing the steel titan nearly crush Eight Star, she knew what she had to do. Was she not the Element of Compassion, after all? Forcing her way in between the two, despite the risk, she summoned the Voice of the Ancestors (Royal Canterlot Voice) and shouted at the titan, HOLD, TEMPLAR! WE ARE NOT YOUR FOES! ARCHMAGE EIGHT STAR HAS MADE NO MOVE TO STRIKE YOU DOWN, BUT SO HELP ME IF YOU SHOULD HARM ANY OF THESE INNOCENTS, BE YOU FLESH OR STEEL, I WILL! IN THE NAME OF MY FATHER, THE HIGH LORD SOLARIS, THAT IS A PROMISE!"
"Oh...I see..." Blizzard moped. Even though her true form was a dragon, it would have been nice to be in the company of the same race she currently was. Nonetheless at least he was a fox, to many ponies here for her taste. "I'm sorry for the confusion Tyro. I didn't mean to imply..." Blizzard's attention finally snapped away from Tyro as the giant machine that accompined him slammed his fist into the Necromancer, and the Key weilder roared with the fericeness of a dragon. "This is going to be a very interesting day." Calhad s******ed as Blizzard failed to comprehend what was going on in front of her eyes.
Tyro joins in with his own, mirthless titter. "Yeah..." He turns his head, dreading what he might now see... He was right to be so anxious. Titus had decided to try and smash Eight Star in to the dirt while Ambience stands in the middle like a referee handing out red cards. "Oh fer..." Tyro starts to storm forwards, growling with every word. "What are you doing?! Titus! Leave them alone! Titus!"
Titus was getting closer to the Cultist ready to smash him until a small child had gotten in the way he was about to run into her until a loud booming voice stopped him in his tracks immediately “What! How does a filly have the voice of the great chapter masters?” Titus thought. He heard the speech that the filly had roared out but that still didn’t stop his goal to kill the Chaos sorcerer even if she is a filly. Titus charged at the filly as he heard the voice of Tyro but he nor the filly would not stop him of his goal of killing the vile pony.
