Sihana walked towards the skeleton of Celestia and took a deep breath as her hooves became enveloped in magic, using her horn would but her in a bad position and is also a weak choice if they were to be attacked suddenly. "This should only take a moment..."

The skeleton of Celestia began to glow slightly, becoming brighter and brighter until the vague shape of a pony was formed. After several minutes, Celestia was completely back to the way she was moments before she died, clad in her magnificent armour, without the power of corruption affecting her. She was a new mare, and she retained her power from when she was the Phoenix Queen. Soon, she opened her eyes as she sat upright. Celestia was reborn.

"The why of things?" Plague responded before rushing towards Silver and Midnight, duelling the two of them with relative ease while maintaining a conversation "I have become powerful enough to put the strongest in their place. To become a human...was a side effect of what I had become. Once my power became high enough, I began to...'mutate', so to speak. I started to walk upright like them, my body began to change like them, my fur vanished following with my horn. Even without the things that made me an Equine, just look at how powerful the Equestrian race has become without them! You should not judge a book by it's cover, you will be pleasantly surprised."

Midnight then broke Plague's block as he summoned a crystal that impaled Plague's left arm, immobilising him for a brief moment and giving the Prince enough time to finish him off. Just as he came downwards with a powerful swing, Plague vanished from his sight and reappeared with both his scyhes, cutting off the legs of the Prince. The Prince cried out in pain before he used his magic to regenerate them slowly.

"Besides...this new body is not that bad. If the right caretaker looks after it well." Plague remarked before throwing one of his schyes across the room, distracting Silver while he arched into the air of the burning palace and came downwards towards him.

    --------------------------------------------------------------

The Hunter watched as Nightshade came to attack him, despite that he could not close his eyes.

The Hunter then intercepted Nightshade, flicking her in the head like a child that actually sent her spinning like a pin-wheel across the entire city, crashing into anything that came into her path. Once she got up, she would have had barely any time to react to see the Hunter instantly upon her like a wild animal, throwing her into the air and flying upwards. Once she was in range, The Hunter penetrated her torso with one of his swords, while raising his other hand to blast her at point blank range with an energy blast that sent her back down to where she began.

The Hunter aimed downwards at the group as a red energy ball formed at the base of his forehead. The ground below was shaking violently, causing anything moving on the ground to stumble and fall to the earth. The amount of energy itself even made it extremely dangerous to fly. Once done, he fired the beam at his enemies with a disastrous result while also charging against what remained of them.

As Silver dodged Plague's attack, his entire body suddenly began to glow.
    "Not now, dammit..."
The power of the Phoenix Queen, the power that he had claimed as his own thirty years earlier, was pulled from his body as it's true owner awakened below.

    "Blast and damnation!"
Silver shook his head and readied his swords for Plague's next attack.
He had been weakened, but he still had the power given to him by Discord, and he was still the best damn swordspony alive.
He was not going to let the abomination beat him.

Princess Luna watched, speechless, as her sister was resurrected before her eyes.
Finally, she managed to squeak out a weak "C-Celestia? How..."

"I'm just doing what Nightshade told me. She also told me that we only had about a fifty-fifty chance of Serketh doing as he was asked, so for all I know, we just brought back the the Phoenix Queen instead of the Sun Princess."
She helped Celestia out of the coffin, searching for the signs of corruption that Nightshade had told her to watch for.
"Looks like the real deal. Welcome back, Sun-Butt."
She glanced back at the inferno that was rapidly approaching the chamber.
"Now let's get the hell out of here before we get roasted."

Nightshade laughed as the Hunter threw everything he had at her.
"You bucking fool. You just don't get it, do you?"
As she flew at him, he could see that there wasn't a scratch on her. Even her mane remained perfect, without a hair out of place.
"This world belongs to my kind. Your kind can only exist here as shadows."

She slowed down, flying in lazy circles around the Hunter.
"You are nothing. A reflection. A crude imitation. A hastily drawn sketch."
Her smiled widened, and her eyes began to glow.
"And like a sketch, you can be erased."

She saw a look in the Hunter's eyes as she spoke, and cursed the fact that human emotion was so hard to read.
"Is that understanding I see? Are you finally starting to realize that you simply cannot win this fight?
Perhaps it's fear? Certainly an understandable emotion. I felt plenty of fear when I died.
Or maybe I'm wrong, and that was a look of defiance. Do you somehow believe that you can get out of this alive?"

The Hunter looked at Nightshade and her colleagues in shock. He was one of the strongest beings in existence, he had fought the strongest of the strong in the multiverse with relative ease. And yet...this mare was flying circles around her like it was nothing, like nothing had even touched her. How was this possible? He was attacking them with all his strength, and yet it never seemed to be enough. He was stronger than the gods themselves, why is this happening? He gripped the swords as he raised them to get into a stance.

“Defiant until the end, aren’t you?”

Sihana suddenly appeared nearby the group of heroes, her sword pointed at the Hunter, the spell-sword styled weapon glowing red with crackling electricity. Landing gently next to Nightshade, she looked at the Hunter.

“A pale shadow, not even a heartbeat of the real deal. You bring nothing but pain and suffering to this world.” Sihana said with a venomous tone as her sword suddenly sparked. “You and your kind don’t belong here. You’re all going to die...”

The Hunter looked at his opponents with an expression of pure hatred as he went to attack again, not letting anything being held back. Now know that he is likely to be killed, he decided to die with his dignity and go down fighting.

    ------------------------------------------------------------

Plague smiled when he felt an energy that he had not felt in over 30 years. Noticing that Silver had been weakened quite considerably, he decided to take full advantage of this occasion. Lifting his two scythes together, he pressed them as they both seemed to disassemble and reform itself into a single weapon, one fearsome looking full sized scythe. Spinning it around while running, he slid underneath Silver while running , faking an attack on the Lunar Pegasi, and attaching the edge of the Scythe to the bottom half of his armour before pulling himself up and over Silver in a single sweep, heavily damaging his armour and also having the momentum to fling Silver across the room. Midnight, who had just lost both of his legs prior, had managed to regenerate them, although it took quite a substantial amount of magic to do so. Midnight’s gigantic magic formed sword was heading downwards at Plague, but the new scythe had not only blocked the attack, but shattered the weapon in half.

Taking his chance, Plague impaled Midnight and threw him on the other side room, opposite from where Silver had landed prior. Plague then raised his right hand as a torrent of ice came out of and headed towards Silver, hopefully immobilizing and freezing his blood solid. If it succeeded, another blow by the scythe would kill him.

Silver watched the ice flying towards him and grinned.
    "Fire. Inferno. Sun.
    YOL TOOR SHUL!!!"

The torrent of flame that issued from his open mouth instantly vaporized the ice into steam, creating a fog that quickly evaporated in the heat of the burning throne room.
"A finishing move on a barely injured opponent? Come on, abomination! Surely you're better than that!"

It was at that point that Silver noticed the damage to his armor.
Silver's armor had survived attacks from Dragons, Hydras, Ursas, and countless lesser foes.
It had even taken the blow of the Behemoth's giant blade without a scratch.
The fact that Plague's attack had managed to damage it so heavily meant that the abomination was using a truly foul magic to augment his attacks.

Silver tore off the useless armor, leaving him with only his sword belt.
    He grinned at Plague.
"I should thank you. I haven't had the opportunity to fight unarmored in many years."

    "Good! You're awake!"
Nightshade completely ignored the Hunter's furious attacks, and spoke to the Ryborian Goddess.
"I need to thank you for reviving Celestia. With both Princesses alive, everything is finally ready.
As soon as this latest mess is cleaned up, I'll finally be able to..."

A carriage flung at her by the Hunter knocked her backwards, and she yelled at him angrily.
"Do you mind?! WE WERE TALKING!"

Still in shock by the sudden resurrection of sister, Luna led Hope and the equally surprised Celestia to a secret passage out of the castle.
When they finally emerged in the Royal Garden, the Night Princess finally spoke.
"My sister, is it really you? Are you free of the..."

    Hope shook her head.
"She doesn't remember her time as the Phoenix Queen. That part of her is gone forever.
We should take care for now. It will not be easy for her to learn all that has happened."

Plague spun his Scythe around as he watched Silver tore off his armour, smiling as the pegasi dropped it on the floor and he drew out his swords again. Midnight went back at Silver's side, but this did not seem to impress the Human Plague. Plague lifted up his weapon and leapt towards the two of them once more to begin the battle.

Once Plague got close enough, he jumped into the air and came down at Midnight, Midnight had barely enough time to dodge the attack before Plague slammed the scythe into the ground, creating a shockwave that destroyed many of the supports of the castle and sending anything nearby flying. With the two warriors in the air, Plague turned around and went to combat Silver in a fair fight.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

The Hunter continued to attack the group, seemingly to no success. He was in disbelief, how could this have been happening. The Ryborian goddess and the Pegasus were even having a casual conversation. He must have been weakened or had his powers drained away somehow...but, how?

The Hunter leapt backwards to attack once more and fired an enormous energy blast that would have destroyed an entire continent if it were to make contact with the ground. However, Sihana ran through the blast like it was nothing and appeared at the hunter at the base of the attack, punching him in the face that sent the opponent through multiple buildings.

HOW IS THIS HAPPENING !!! The Hunter screamed, shocked at his lack of strength. The Hunter was enraged he appeared above Canterlot, holding his as multiple balls of energy were being rapidly fired upon the ground like a Gatling gun, each ball containing enormous amounts of power.

Sihana looked at Nightshade and just spoke to her while their possible deaths came flying towards them at breakneck speeds. “I must admit, his power is incredible. But this has gone on long enough, I’m ending this now.”

While the energy balls of death were falling, Sihana took the opportunity to teleport behind the distracted Hunter and penetrated his lower torso with the Yukobana, sending him into shock while weakening him enough for Nightshade to finish it now. Sihana took him by the legs and threw him like a rag doll towards the Pegasus.

“Play nice...” Sihana joked around at the end before teleporting near the ground and appeared next to the dead body of the Eriborian.

"And, Sihana as expected." Jack bowed when the goddess appeared. He and Tricorna had gone over to Venquis' body, knowing they couldn't fight the Hunter. Jack had detached the unicorn horn from his sword's hilt and was using it with Tricorna's love to protect them from the stray attacks from the battle. Tricorna was mourning over Venquis. She turned to Sihana as she arrived and backed away from Venquis. "Tricorna, I know you're sad, but you know what Sihana can do. I've done what I felt was right, and now I'm going to do the next thing I think is right... Au'revoir." With that he jumped out of the shield, leaving the horn on the ground to keep generating it, and he started off towards the castle.

He arrived just as the supports of the building were destroyed by Plague's attack. As he entered the building he noticed it sounded like it was falling apart, and he pulled a necklace from his cape. He quickly tossed it on, and several grey copies of him split out and went to hold up the broken supports. "I swear... it's like all these villains do is cause collateral damage sometimes!" He reached into his cape again and sighed. "I'm running out of things that will serve any purpose... Ok, let's at least go somewhere where they will just be fighting... No destruction of the building and falling pieces and such." He pulled out a runestone, which glowed a faint green. He ran into the area where they were fighting, attempting to keep attention away from himself. Once he was in the center of the nearly destroyed room, he crushed the runestone on the ground... and nothing happened. "Did I take the wrong one..." The area where he crushed the rune suddenly turned to a burned, hardened clay ground. The change moved out from the spot and slowly covered the entire room until Plague, Midnight, Silver and Jack were all in an open abandoned battlefield, several miles from where they had been.

"This is a much better place for a final battle." The spirit looked at what Jack had done through a crystaline wall. "Wouldn't you agree Destroyer? Much more room for them to just fly at each other and go all out, and there wont be any chance of something stupid happening like outside intervention." He turned to the destroyer. "And when I say outside intervention, I do of course mean one of us once they're exhausted to the point of near-death..." He turned back to the wall to watch the fight.

(we need more crazy things happening!)

    "How is this happening?"
Nightshade caught the Hunter as he fell, and set him gently on the ground.
"That is not for you to know."
She placed her hoof lightly on his head, and spoke quietly.
    "Disappear unto nothingness."

As the Hunter began to fade from existence, Nightshade joined Sihana and Tricorna at Venquis' side.
    "Can he be saved?"

Silver's smile broadened as the castle vanished, and the warriors all found themselves far away from the castle.
There was nothing in the way now.
No flames to obstruct his vision, no pillars to block his path.
They were in the open sky. His domain.

With a roar, Silver flew at Plague, landing a mighty kick that sent the abomination flying high above the clouds.
In an instant, Silver was after him, slashing at his foe with the cursed Blades of Tartarus.

Below, in the ruins of the castle, Hemlock and Holly were working to lead survivors to safety. Between the fire and subsequent collapse, there weren't many left alive.
Eventually, the Timber-Wolves emerged into the Garden, followed by a dozen injured ponies.
One of them, an elderly cook that had served during the rule of the Phoenix Queen, began screaming uncontrollably saw Celestia standing beside Luna and Hope.
Hope eventually had to use a calming spell to quiet her down.

The Destroyer, idly tossing fireballs into the sky, shrugged.
"Do what you want, dude. I already killed Silver once. I don't need to do it again.
For now, I'm just here to watch."
    He glanced at the Spirit.
"Word of warning, though. Silver's not normal. The more damage he takes... the more exhausted he gets... the more dangerous he gets.
He's nowhere near as powerful as Nightshade, but he's still not to be taken lightly.""

    (Oh look...plot)

The Hunter looked back upwards at Nightshade, who had decided to end his existence entirely. He was far too weak to even move, the blow done by Sihana already causing the physical end to his existence. He lifted both his hand to his face, watching as the tips of his fingernails started to vanish. Smiling, he turned around and began to address the group.

“You....all surpassed my expectations, and... I’m quite proud in that my last fight was against you. I’d fought against countless enemies, won countless battles. And yet...you have put my mind at ease. Thank you.” The hunter replied peacefully before looking at his hands again, this time, half his hand was gone and his legs were starting to vanish. He took a deep breath and began to speak.

“There is something you need to know when fighting the Master. Never face him alone.... you are going to need....everybody...or everypony....if that is how you say it here. Every single surviving god or demi-god in your universe is required. Otherwise...it will already be over. He....he is unlike anything you have ever seen. Entire universes wiped out in the blink of an eye, worlds and systems conquered. He knows that you will eventually reach him, that why he has been monitoring all of you. He wishes not to fight you on this world, knowing that it would lead to its total destruction.” The Hunter looked again, to see his lower legs gone from existence. “I can tell you where he is, in the place where everything is connected. The centre of the Omniverse itself... a place of unparalleled beauty and wonder....*cough*. Take down the remainder of us....end this petty struggle between the Elder Realm and Tartarus.....only then....*cough* shall you save....life itself.”

By now, the Hunter was almost completely gone, leaving his torso and right arm. He looked downwards and closed his eyes, a smile still etched on his face as he chuckled to himself slightly.

    “It’s a joke. It’s all a damn joke...”

And with that, the Hunter died just as he completely vanished moments later.

    -------------------------

Plague looked around at his new battlefield, relatively pleased with the arena that was chosen. And it seemed he could play with Jack now.

“What a pleasant change of scenery.” Plague said before he noticed Silver attacking him and kicking him into the sky. He noticed that his opponent was still bleeding heavily, weakened from fighting. Plague only moved his neck slightly to the left to dodge the Blade’s of Tartarus before following up with a blow to his stomach, powerful enough to instantly kill another pony. Unfortunately for him, Silver wasn’t particularly normal. It would have dealt quite a lot of damage, but to what extent was unknown.

Plague then raised his Scythe above Silver’s exposed back with one hand, before bringing it down as the bottom blade pierced his back and sending him to the ground.

“Temper, Temper. Silver, keep it together!” Plague responded.

Midnight appeared once more at Silver, replacing his broken sword with two gauntlets with a half meter long blade at the end. He rushed towards him, only to be silenced as Plague simply stunned him in the face with his Scythe before shredding off his armour, and nearly taking his head off. Plague grabbed him by the throat tight with his free hand, strangling him tight while Midnight gasped for air.

    “You want to dance too?”

    -----------------------------------

Sihana looked at the body of her champion, thinking about what his last thoughts would have been. She had been thinking about it for a long time, discussing it openly with the other gods. Sihana’s energy was almost drained for resurrecting Celestia, but she knew that he will be able to return from the dead.

“He’ll be brought back from the brink of death. He is considered family by the Elder realm, and we wish to return the favour for his legendary actions throughout his life. I personally want to ensure that this never happens again, I’ve understood what he’s been through, and will be granted the power to protect those that mean the most to him. His subjects....his friends and colleges....his nation and race...” Sihana then turned around to face Tricorna. “Even you....”

“He shall be your Eriborian....your friend...but He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him. He shall be immortal, age shall never touch him again. He is your Eriborian, and he shall be reborn as one of the Nine Divines, filling in the role of deceased Devokira, the Ryborian God of Death. Venquis Lucian Razona shall be ascending to god-hood. He shall be Tyberthia, the Ryborian God of War.” Sihana replied. “Of course....he is still Venquis to all of you.”

She went over to his body and placed a single hoof on his heart, as Venquis was enveloped in a light similar to Celestia’s resurrection.

(I've been thinking about it this twist for a while. I've wanted Ven to ascend after the end of his life at old age, but I guess this seemed to fit in well. He'll basically be a 'God' level character now.)

Jack looked up at Plague, Midnight, and Silver. "I figure, if the books are right, then it's time to break out the one thing I've been saving for a while." Jack tossed off his cape, and it landed on the ground, uplifting a small amount of dust. His wings opened slowly, stretching after having been held against his body for more than a few years. Each end feather gave off a slight purple mist, as did his eyes. "My father was a grand inventor, and my brother a grand warrior... I however... was a great thief. This is why I was the god's assassin. I could take away the greatest weapons crafted by pony-kind... and then they would become part of my arsenal, to be used for the good of all... and now... I'm going to use the greatest thing I have ever stolen." Jack took off into the air, his wings seeming to go a mile a minute, leaving an obvious trail of the purple mist behind him as he flew.

(I'm not going to say what the actual thing is he stole, but with how his wings actually fly, he can move like a hummingbird, with extremely fast, pin-point movements)

Obsidian joined the group of ponies in the garden. "Celestia's back? They did it. Now we just have to hope Silver and Midnight can defeat Plague wherever they went to."

(He had to come back, don't ask what he was doing all this time, I don't know... I'm so ashamed of my laziness >.>)

    (And...we're back)

Plague looked at his opponents, noticing Jack leaving to collect what he was talking about. It could have been anything, a special sword, a necklace, a gigantic and enormously highly advanced laser cannon from another dimension, it could have been anything. Once the turned back to Midnight, he applied more pressure, starting to see lights go out in the eyes of Midnight as his neck began to crack.

Midnight then let go of Midnight suddenly and punched him downwards towards the barren wasteland, sending him spinning like a pinwheel before he crashed into the ground.

The instant Plague released Midnight, Silver attacked.
Plunging both swords into Plague's chest, he latched onto his windpipe with his Dragon-like fangs and held on for dear life.
He was going to rip the abomination's throat out, no matter how much damage he took in the process.

Using the last of the magic that remained within him, he sent a telepathic call to Jack.
"I'm not going to be able to hold him for long. Whatever you're planning, make it fast."

    Hope snorted.
"If half of the stories my parents told me were true, I'd say that Plague's the one that should be worried."
She glanced at Obsidian, wanting to ask where he had been, but decided against it.
"Anyway... yeah, Celestia's alive. Nightshade told me that she's planning something big, and needs both princesses for it to work.
I couldn't get her to tell me what it is, though."

Nightshade frowned as Sihana told them of Venquis' ascension.
Shaking her head, she muttered under her breath, "God of War? Will they never learn? This world slips ever further down the wrong path, and even its gods are blind to the truth..."

She forced a smile, and nodded.
"That is good to hear, Sihana. It would have been terrible if he had been lost to us."

Plague felt the blades penetrate straight through his chest, coughing deeply as Silver sunk his teeth onto his neck. This seemed to anger him greatly, wanting nothing more but to take his enemies hooves off in a single blow with a swipe of his Scythe. Plague then moved about, attempting to shake off his opponent. Silver could only hold onto him for so long, knowing that he would give in eventually. Plague managed to deliver bone breaking attacks once Silver managed to get in his range.

Sihana could tell that Nightshade was clearly disappointed about her decision to ascend Venquis, but she had good reasons for doing so. She could have just made him immortal, but it would have disrupted the already unnatural balance, if there was one to begin with. If it happened, the Eriborian would have lacked power to fight against the gods that wished to kill him. She watched as the light that surrounded the new god fade away, to reveal that almost nothing had changed. Except that Venquis mane was milky white...

(As if I was going to kill off Ven.)

"Don't die on me again!" Tricorna grabbed Venquis in a hug, crying into his shoulder.

"Present and accounted for." Jack flew in, almost appearing out of nowhere. He changed into a ball of fire and collided with Plague, burning him heavily on impact, and then rebounding off and changing back into a pony. "I have no item worth using on you Plague, but rather something much, much stronger than any weapon. I stole the powers of the gods who have been killed. And with that..." Jack opened his mouth and a stream of magma exploded from it towards Plague. Jack close his mouth and coughed. "I meant for that to be water..." He wiped a drop of the lava from his lip and it turned to stone as it fell to the ground.

As Jack struck, Silver released his hold on Plague and pulled out his swords, twisting them as he did.

He swore inwardly as he flew away to let Jack make his move.
Plague had managed to break both of his hind legs, and had torn a hole in his left wing.
"Dammit! This is going to slow me down a bit."

As he looked Plague, he realized that a lack of speed wasn't going to be a problem.
The lava that had struck the abomination had hardened into glossy black obsidian, weighing Plague down and slowing his movements.

"It's time to end this, Jack.
I'm going to take him to ground. When I do, you do whatever it takes to finish him for good.
    Do not hold back."

Roaring, Silver tackled Plague from above, beating his injured wings furiously as he forced the abomination into the dirt.
As they struck the ground, Silver tossed away his swords and began beating Plague with his bare hooves.
"End him, Jack Knife! End him now!"

As Venquis embraced Tricorna, Nightshade tapped Sihana on the shoulder.
"We need to get back to the Princesses.
Plague is nearing his end, and I suspect that the one calling himself 'Master' is waiting for Plague to die to make his move.
If he suspects why I needed Celestia alive, he will stop at nothing to put her back down for good."

Plague looked downwards at his legs without emotion, watching as the obsidian that had formed around him hardened until his lower body was completely immobile as he dropped from the sky and was then taken down by Silver. His chest was also injured, he looked at Silver who was pounding his face in. He just smiled at Silver as his face began to dissolve, chunks of flesh flying off his face with every brutal blow that he took. Eventually, his entire head was nothing but a bloodied skull. One of his eyes remained intact in the skull, while the other had dropped off. He just kept laughing for some strange reason. Laughing and Laughing.

He looked at Jack in the air above the two, the same now skeleton appearing smile on his face. Plague could have escaped from the Obsidian and killed Silver. But something felt unnaturally good about the pain he was experiencing, absolute pleasure from the pain he felt. He just looked at Jack in the air as he looked at him. Instead of finishing off his opponents, it felt strangely better this way.

"What are you waiting for?" He replied before feeling whatever hairs on his head tingle with excitement. "Do it....Do it"

    "DO IT !!!"

    ---------------------------

Venquis got up slowly until he was on his back, very confused about what had just happened. First, he was fighting against the Hunter. Then, nothing. Absolutely nothing but darkness. He rose up from his 'grave' and looked at Tricorna who was embracing him, responding with a tight hug. He then became aware that not only had he died, but his mane was now milky white as he looked at Sihana, her eyes telling the Eriborian something of great importance. "I never asked for this..." he thought, questioning if he really did ascend.

"Wha...wh-....what just happened?" he said before looking at his mane and a strange sensation of power he felt in his body.

Jack looked down at the broken figure which had once been Plague. "You sicken me, and I see only one fitting way to kill you. Silver, move!" A small red ball formed near him, followed by 3 more which rotated around his head. They suddenly stopped, and shot down at Plague. As they struck their target, Jack looked up, directly at the location The Spirit's glass wall was watching them through. "I stole one of your powers. Didn't think I could do it? Neither did I." With that he started flying down to Silver.

The spirit sighed and punched his wall, making it shatter and fade into dust. "He can steal dead people's powers. I never said he could do that... and somehow he got The Hunter's? I hate this kid..."

The red beams spun around the head of Plague before crashing downwards unto his body and his skull, finally killing the abomination in an instant. The same skeleton smile was etched on his face, as if he had died in peace. Blood began to flow outwards as his wings began to rot, while the rest of his body began to deteriorate rapidly. Not long after he had died, a purple fire from what remained of Plague's lifeforce cast his body into flames, affecting everything except his Scythe that was cast from his body once he fell to the ground. Finally, the monster was dead.

"You did what!" Venquis shouted at his goddess. "You not only did you end my age entirely, but you made me one of the Divines. I thought I told you that I wished for a mortal life!"

"Venquis, listen. This was the only way that I could have saved you from death. All of the Divines had plans to ascend you after your passing, this blasted war made us prematurely activate the plan. I understand that you wished for a mortal life, and that all of the Nine Divines love you alongside the rest of the Ryborian race. But, we need you."

"For what?" Venquis piped back. "I was killed in seconds by The Hunter, do you honestly expect me to stand against the rest of the Master's puppets?"

"You can stand against him on eq-"

"NO! I never asked for this!" Venquis shouted before storming away. Sihana sighed deeply as he turned around to the remainder of the group. Sihana turned around to face Nightshade, tapping her on the shoulder.

"He'll calm down, he's not very impressed that I had to do that to him. I had no other way to bring him back other than having to use that decision. He will be back soon." Sihana replied. “Now that we all have that out of the way, shall we go attend to the princesses?”

    Nightshade nodded.
"We should hurry. Plague is dead, and the Mun-shadows are on the move. The Master could attack at any moment."
Gripping her spear, she flew towards the Royal Garden, where the princesses waited.

Silver, laying on his back in the dirt, grinned up at Jack.
"Nice shot, you old bastard. Looks like you were the one to get him, after all."
Slowly, painfully, he unfolded the wing that was covering his chest, revealing a massive charred hole that went straight through his torso.
"If I'd been a little bit faster, I might have kept you from getting me, too."
Coughing blood, he rolled over and got to his hooves.
He winced as he tried to stand on his broken hind legs, and suddenly began laughing.
"I had almost forgotten what it was like to be mortal. It hurts like hell."

Taking off his sword belt, he flapped his wings and rose into the air.
"Plague is dead. The demons are leaderless. It won't be long before they crawl back to the hell they came from.
The war with Tartarus is over. The Mortal Realm wins."

His face grew serious, and looked at the sky.
"This world is about to change... to finally become what it was meant to be... a peaceful place...
A world like that isn't going to need a killer like me."

With a final wave to Jack, he took off into the air, heading for the Everfree Forest.
As he flew away, he called down, "Make sure you give Nightshade my swords, and tell her that Vulkendov wishes for her to have them."

"That was almost anti-climatic... Let's be honest here. If we want the world to be a place of, quote-unquote, peace... I think we need to get everyone who participated in this war to move on..." He flitted around the field grabbing Plague's scythe, Silver's swords, and his own cape. He started off towards Canterlot at top speed. "I wonder if Silver will survive this... he tends to survive pretty much everything but... that was an uncontrolled attack."

"Mun-shadows? Plague? I missed some big things didn't I?" Tricorna asked the small group.

(teeny tiny post, sorry there isn't much to it...)

"You sure have. Hope that we have brought you up to speed, not really much more to understand." Sihana replied to Tricorna.

Sihana looked towards the Royal Palace and simply raised her wings, gently raising herself above the ground before flying towards the Palace. Once she arrived, she flew inside of the heavily damaged main hall of the palace and landed directly in front of Celestia and Luna, bowing slightly out of respect before looking behind her to see the remainder of the group arrive.
