I meant to evaluate the other three ponies performances in this episode, and I never did! The first three are ones I already did and I'll edit the first two as well, I'll post them again just so they're all together: Fluttershy (edit) - Insane Fluttershy is insane. She is officially more insane than Pinkie Pie was in Ep. 25! Pinkie Pie (edit) - Speaking of Pinkie Pie, she was in top form this episode! It's hard to describe what I liked about her performance in this episode! Rarity - I feel really sorry for Rarity that her prince charming wasn't what she dreamed of. Rainbow Dash - Her solo was just awesome! And that squeel she did after being able to hang out with The Wonderbolts was just too cute! Applejack - She only sold two things, I believe. So much for Granny Smiths hip replacement! Twilight Sparkle - Just standing around welcoming guests to the GGG. She now realizes how tedious a Princesses job can sometimes be.
You know, I watched this episode for the first time about three days ago(trying to make the episodes last longer, but temptation was too much), and it appears I'm in the minority here. I absolutely adored this episode. The song was absolutly awesome. I admit, it's still not as catchy as Winter Wrap-up, but to me it gave an epic feeling to the whole event. Maybe it was because I was holding out on this episode that the hype I was feeling was what caused me to like it so much. Fluttershy was still adorable no matter how insane she got. I believe in the theory that if events cause a pony to experience the opposite of what their cutie marks intend for their calling to be, they snap and go crazy, like what happend to Pinkie, but that's my opinion.
Yes, I quite liked this episode. However, Fluttershy did feel out of character, although you need to remember that this is aimed at children. Us lot criticise this because we have more experience in that sort of stuff. You say the storywriters did it "for the lulz", which is what children like, no?
me again: well, as known fact there are 6 wonderbolts, right? well, there are 8 of them on these screenshot: + Spitfire and 'Soarin who are not on this picture making them group of minimum 10 ponies.
spitfire has 2 tone orange main, 7 has one tone orange main Spitfire: 'soarin, ok 4 does look like 'soarin, but on scene after 'Soarin and Spitfire appear outside VIP area (you know that scene where Rainbow Dash saves 'Soarin's Pie after that they get in VIP area. but anyway, there are more than 6 members of The Wonderbolts.
This was one of the funnier episodes for me. Since Fluttershy is my favorite pony, her losing made me die a little inside or laughter. I feel sorry for Rarity tho. The fact that her dream stallion is a royal prick. Maybe Spike has a chance after all. Speaking of which, it seemed almost fitting to me that Spike was sort of the wise one in this one. And him drowning his depression with doughnuts, classic. "Another doughnut! Extra sprinkles!"
For me this wasn't a TERRIBLE episode, but I'm a little disappointed they chose that episode the end the first season, admittedly it wasn't their fault and it was Hasbro's fault for making the writers completely jumble the series around, but still...
I liked the episode. Wonderbolts should have been more excited they got to talk to Dash, but oh well. Discuss. No more sadness and hate, only ponies.
well one of best things I liked about this episodes were songs. they are so catchy and easy to get in your mind. tr:ld: Trollestia: know Twilight wants to hang out with her. Ignore her whole night :Trollestia:
