Here is the new photo of Equestria Girls. Their legs are wider than their bodies, the cutie marks are on their faces, they have the same skin colour as their fur coats, stupid knee-high boots, and I dont see Applejack or Rainbow Dash as ones to wear skirts. Rainbow Dash is the only one that looks a little decent, but this is just ugly. Cloppers wouldn't even clop to this. EDIT: This turned out to be my 100th post. Yay?

This is going to be the biggest disaster in cartoon history. It just keeps going from bad, to worse, to downright terrible. To this show I say; "Nope."
I like how they all have long hair that starts out like their pony forms' manes, and ends like their tails.
I agree. We shouldn't jump to conclusions like we did with Alicorn Twilight. We don't know whats going to happen. And if it's really that bad, then don't watch it. The MLP series will go on as usual.
Judging by the official designs..(Which look like something a colorblind six year old would scribble) I am not gonna watch it...the characters are so ugly i just wanna vomit.
You know, I didn't mind when they were just colorful humans, but this? What happened to their faces? Their ears? Cutiemarks on their cheeks? Hair that mimics tails? Am I the only one who sees some unfortunate implications here? I mean, how am I supposed to not think of them as... well, you know... butt... heads...? Uhm, yeah. And Twilight just looks wrong. I'm not sure what to think of this.
This doesn't look so bad. I really think Hasbro dodged a bullet by giving them normal mane colors. They could be accused of racism or stereotyping by all those soccer moms out there if they did that. Plus, most of the 6 don't translate all that well into ANY race. I will admit the cutie marks in their cheeks are a bit strange, but would you want it plastered on their butt instead?
RD, Fluttershy and Twilight gets to keep their wings? Seems ok... Rarity and Twilight, where did their horns go? :Trollestia:
I don't mind their skin tone, but the cutie marks on their cheeks look really weird, and why do they still have pony ears? Are they human or just some weird hybrid? I'm probably just complaing for no reason though. (Even if Twilight, Rainbow, and Applejack look very strange in skirts.)
Same question here. I suppose it's not as weird as having a horn to have wings. I dunno. Just doesn't make much sense.
I still like AJ's anthro design, but guess thats just me. Overall I think its still best to take the wait & see approach. From the latest article seems like this is going to be a special for the franchises 30th anniversary, so no harm in the long run, we still have Season 4 of FIM to look forward to, and again no one is making anyone view the spin-off, all the complaining and whining is pointless. And honestly i'm kind of disappointed with all the anthromorphs we've grown up with in Cartoons, comics, anime, and media in general over the decades, this really shouldn't bother people as much as it does. If you ask me people need to stop crying over spilled milk, when heck the milk hasn't even spilled yet! Every piece of animation, like music should be judged on its own merits, anything has the potential to be good & or bad. Remember everyone thought FIM would suck before it aired as well and accused Faust & co of being sellouts, look how that turned out! All i'm saying is just give it a chance, if it does indeed suck like people think it will, oh well its just a spin-off/ 30th anniversary special, if its actually good, we can all look forward to eating our hats out of embarrassment of how childish we acted towards it. I think the only real negatives here are on the cooperate side is if this is also a move to break out into the Bratz/Monster High part of the toy market & it fails, it could keep Hasbro from doing any more MLP Spin-offs in the future *ones that might actually use characters from the current show/universe and could actually be pretty good* And on a community side, people will no doubt say this show was secretly made for furries, which will cause an even further split between the anthro & non-anthro MLP:FIM fans. Overall though we will just have to wait & see how it turns out. I do admit things are starting to look a bit skectchy, we know DHX media isn't in charge of its production, and theres a chance they humanoid ponies may have new VA's as the MLP:FIM voice cast & writers supposedly no nothing to little about the project. But again if it can still be at the very least as entertaining as Littlest Pet Shop, thats good enough for me, and Spin-off's usually don't last long so even if it does get more then the TV movie, probably disappear after its initial episode order.
Wow. This looks vile. No, seriously. This is as horrible as horrible can get. I don't even like MLP, but this is worse. Far, far worse. Jesus, it's shocking.
