(No its fine) Dark was first into the spot that Saul had marked for the first encampment, it was a small, hidden clearing that was surrounded by dense trees. Dark turned to Saul, "So what now?"
I had already camped here with Silence, my sister. Anyway, we hid some big blankets under this big rock, here, and there's some long branches behind that same rock. With theses materials, we can make a tent big enough for 5 ponies to sleep under." Saul made the rock levitate, and took the things off before putting the rock to it's place. "A little help...?"
"yeah, if you could just help me push it out there..." Saul placed himself to push the rock and, according to Cal, they pushed it just beneath the trees. "Thank you. Now, let's get our shelter ready." Saul's horn glowed with a dark aura. Within a minute, tree trees and the 'blanket' were floating, and tying themselves to make a long tent, not that tall, but still enough to be able to walk in. "There. Let's make a fire, and eat what we've got."
'Lets see we got a Rabbit and a squirrel so i'd say we could somehow split each 3 ways" As he starts to skin the rabbit "Although we've got to skin them first then split it i guess"
"oh, no need to split it for three. I don't need to eat to survive. I only need water." By saying this, he took his flask with magic and drank half of it.
(Nopony eversaid they were... And, anyways, you just don't have to tell Fluttershy. Like they said, food is food~! And if you want, you can make ya character vegetarian, and find some not-poisonnous berries)
(Nah, I was just felt like pointing that out. Dark really isn't the kind that would be vegetarian if she had the choice) Dark shook her head, "Don't worry, I brought my own food." with that she opened up her saddle bag and took out a plastic container (like a MRE) and opened it slightly to pour in water. Afterwards she shook it and set it down to let it sit. "In the meantime, I could help though!"
At the same time, some growls emerged from the trees south of the little group. Saul whispered: "Should we make a campfire? With those creatures near, it could be a bad idea... Even if we can defend ourselves, the best is not to attract them." Saul walked silently near the trees from wich the sound came from, and slowly tried to see between the trees, Then came back slowly, and still quietly. "There's nothing i could see, but i still heard some growls. I think they were getting south-west, so we can let them go, and hope they didn't noticed us. Let's make a lightless-fire with my naphte oil lantern." Saul took his lantern, hanging from his saddlebag's strap, and used his magic to light it. Only heat emaned from it. "Here, Cal, take it. It'll be longer than using a campfire, but, just in case theses animals haven't left, you should use this. Now everypony whisper till i say so; i'll make a protection sphere so we could safely rest. We'll discuss of the gard turns after."
Cal Whispered "what ever you say just as long as we don't get killed or injured im fine with whatever" "Heh i guess i'll skin it and cook it later" He says to himself
Saul nodded and left, in search of the cause of those growls. At first, he walked quietly, then he knockrd on some trees, and started to make noises, to see if something would answer. After he walked around the clearer three times, without seeing any animals, he focused. His horn glowed and a barrier surrounded the campment. He then came back. "There. Even with that spell, we ain't totally safe. I suggest we rely on, so there's two ponies asleep, and after three hours, the first pony wakes up the second, wich goes to watch for the next three hours, etc. I could the the first round, so who wants to be second?"
''Perfect, we got it settled, then. If you want, you can go to sleep now. we'll have to go before the sun gets up.''
"I hope someponies would. There was a lot of ponies, at first, at fluttershy's cottage. I wondered why they left. Most of them seemed interested in the expedition."
"i guess they weren't much of the fighting type and they probably thought they would die in their sleep"
Dark basically ignored the conversation between the two while she unpacked. After setting up her tent, she stretched her wings, "I'm going out for a fly around, I won't be very long. If there's any reason that you can come up with that's within reason, for me not to, let me know."
