    You could of course come up with other ways to utilize the Artist Training Grounds, instead of the same old "draw this". Might help people get more interested.

    How about something surrounding signatures or avatars? Other things than just drawing, basically. The key is doing something different every once in a while.

    I love to enter once, but the next draw thing is always on like saturday or sunday. With the deadline to submit being wednesday. Thrusday is like the only real day I can just sit a draw.

    sure I could just doodle something, but I never really like my doodles.

    I have an idea... and this could probably be more for my own miniature monthly contest.

    Where ponies had from the beginning to the end of the month to draw a subject, and then each item gets scored based on a few different points, (more than just image skill.) The winner of each month would then receive a prize that would be a short fan fic involving a plot of their choosing.

    The idea could also be reversed for writers.

    Thoughts?

    Actually... I think I will post my own contest. That sounds interesting.
