Allen sighed, "I'm sorry, but we can't go out there now. It's now too late in the day, everypony will be out and about. And no, the princesses do not know of this." Twilight then got up, "Well, it has been very nice meeting you all, but I best be off." Twilight's horn glee and with a flash of light, disappeared.
"oh okay. Woah the foal free press is good. This is the issue about celestia's cake addiction but it's also got quite a few other things too. It says here that the film flam brothers arrived in in manehatten trying to sell champagne and also a section called back in the 80s with miss cheerilee anyone want to have a look@.
Nikolai walked over and sat on the couch. "I still don't quite understand why you brought us here, Allen."
"I brought you here to see Equestria. Right now, Twilight is trying to figure a transformational spell for us." Allen said, "There's windows upstairs if you want to look."
Shawn accepted the paper. From watching the show, he assumed that the papaer would be written in some "pony language" but to his surprise, it was written in plain English. "Back in the 80's, huh?"
"I'm okay at the moment. Just finished the foal free press and I have just started reading this gripping historical thriller set in Victorian canterlot and a pony called jack the ripper. That's a strange coincidence the pony jack the ripper did the same thing as our worlds jack the ripper. There's alot of other books if anyone wants some".
"Different reasons, you, your curiosity. Look, there's all, and I mean a lot that you can't possibly comprehend about my operations. I've been working on this technology since I was 14, and I still don't completely understand it. Let's just say I had some help in the selection process, I could have chosen from a pool of a thousand bronies, and you were the winners."
Nick sighed, "Makes sense, I guess." He walked upstairs to the window and looked out at Ponyville, "This is just... Amazing..." He said under his breath.
"I'll resist the books on pony muders thanks. We manage well enough on our own." Tyro said as he wondered towards the stairs. He climbs the thinner than normal stairs, wondering towards one of the doors. As he pushes it open, he hears a frantic scrabbling like claws over the old floorboard. Tyro sticks his head i. to see what that was but the room, delapidated and largely empty except for a wardrobe, was quiet and still. The dust was resetling though.
Juan got a double take on what Allen said "Woah, woah woah, hold it there son. You said that you chose people for reasons. Why would me, a vet, be involved in this. Well, i don-t mind staying here for a while, but still!"
Shawn looked up from his paper toward Juan. "Are you kidding? Why wouldn't they choose a vet to come along for this? My question is, what particular reason do the rest of us have for being here? Surely you didn't invite us out of the kindness of your heart, Allen?"
Kyle looked to them. "A very good point. I'm not even employed. I have no job. I have a hobby but thats about it." He shrugged.
The dust had been swept in random directions, streaks cut into the grey layer leading up to the wardrobe. It didn't take a genius to see wjat happened. Tyro treds through the room carefully and gingerly pulls the doors open only a couple of milimeters. "Any further and I'll set you on fire!" threatened the wardrobe. He had a strangely familiar voice. "Tyro?" He asks and it met with silence for a few seconds before a dirty scarlet head pokes out from between the doors. "All right...How do you know my name?" The fox asks. "Because its the same as mine." Tyro answered. "Both the name we keep hidden and the one we took for ourselves." The fox's face drops in dispair: "This had better not be an alternate reality thing....They never go well...."
"yeah Allen, I'm a 14 year old British brony in year 9, sure I'm good at drumming and filmmaking but how would they help in this situation".
Allen shrugged, "I'll tell you the truth, it wa a lottery ok." Allen heard some comosion from the next room over and noticed Tyro wasn't there, "Tyro?! Where are you?" he called out.
Both Tyro's look towards the door then at each other. "There's others?" The Fox asks. The Human nods. "Big trip in a teleporter with some guy. Really can't believe I'm chatting with you to be honest." Tyro the Human said. "Yeah. Look, you ought to keep me out of sight. I dunno whats going on and I intend to get something out of Twilight about all this. Meeting humans in a place like this..Don't tell anypony I was here, got it?" Tyro the Fox demanded in a hushed whisper. "You can trust me." The Human said. The Fox shot a disbelieving look. "You could be evil or an imposter." He said. "But I don't have a lot of choice." "Charming..." Tyro the Human said as he walked away, disappearing behind the door. Tyro took a moment to let everything sink in. He was in a previously fictional universe and he has now met his own OC...He seemed a bit rougher than himself... Tyro starts walking down the stairs again: " I took you up on that offer to look outside the window."
