Trav laid next to the unicorn he had tackled, gasping for air, mentally reprimanding himself for not watching the white pegasus better. His vision blurred as he slipped into the void. ***"Take care of yourself while I'm at work honey!" His mother called after him as she walked out the door. "No wait! Mom! Don't go," is what he tried to scream, but instead when he opened his mouth all that came out was, "Yea, sure, whatever." Why couldn't he warn her? Why couldn't he let her know how much he loved her? Knowing now that this was the last time he would see her there is so much more he would have said. Images flashed thru his mind, finding his mother's corpse, looking for his Master, stealing his daggers.*** Trav woke with a awful headache. This is why he hardly slept, he didn't like how he relived that day. He went to rub the blurriness out of his eyes to find that his hooves were bound. Looking around trying to get his bearings he noticed a white blur in the distance moving around. What could he do? He was helplessly bound, which was a position he didn't enjoy being in.
As Crimson was just walking out of the gate, he noticed Timestopper holding some images. He had heard of somepony out the front of the gate being a nuisance. He just went past him and simply said. “Look, Buddy. They won’t let you in, just forget about them. If you were to just even make a sudden move for your weapon to retaliate, they will fry you alive with their AER-17’s. If I were you, forget about them and move on. And if you leave, don’t follow into the mess I’m going to make of Eclipse.” Crimson walked several meters away before looking back at him. “It might save your life....” he said just as he instantly disappeared to another location in a flash of white. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ (Sorry, if you are all not in the same location. Im trying to keep up as well as i can. Anyway...) When Crimson exited his teleportation, he found himself in a small town. The only thing he seen was a Steel Ranger Scribe, a black pegasi who looked like a rather unpleasant fellow alongside another pegasi, a pony in his teen’s and another one who had something for fire. It wasnt everyday when something like this happens. If a Steel Ranger Scribe was there, it must be something technological. Maybe a discovery of unfound cryogenic sleep pods came to the surface. However, he decided to walk away from them and headed towards Snowville as the upcoming events was going to put the future of the world in the balance, it seemed more important. He got about ten feet until one of them was calling out to him trying to get his attention. He turned around and looked at them, raising an eyebrow. He was expecting one of them to talk, and wont like an insult as a reply. After all, the younger generation's had no respect for their elders....
"who was that and Eclipse where I heard that before. Must be my mind acting up again" Timestopper smoke bombed the Commando and by the time the smoke cleared out Timestopper was gone and out of sight
"Hey, hey you!" Rosenburg called. He didn't know what had happened, other than the fact that a pony had apparently just appeared out of thin air not far away from his group. Sure, he'd heard of teleportation, but he hadn't expected to see it in action anytime soon, particularly not when they were in need of supplies and a plan. He was still tender from the surprise electrical attack that Bryz had saved him with, and he was immensely grateful for her decisive action not an hour before. It also served to pique his interest; was that a gadget or a mutation or what? He made a note to ask her about it when the right situation presented itself. "Wait! Come here, we want to trade!"
Sitting quietly, Trav observed the group that had captured him. He learned the name of the unicorn he had tackled was Rosenburg, the white pegasus that had led to his demise was Bryz, and the quiet red one is called Haze. "Be wary of trading with him," Trav said quietly to Rosenburg, "he is armored well, and could dispatch of your little rag tag team easily, unless of course you released me...I swear I shall not cause harm to you or any of your companions here, especially you miss." That last comment was directed at Bryz, as they made eye contact he gave her a little wink.
Rosenburg gave the black pegasus a glare. "Why should we trust you? You threatened me, attempted to rob my group or whatever else you were planning, and on top of that, we don't even know your name. Not a great start to a friendship."
"Ah, not a great start, but a start nonetheless," Trav replied with a large grin. "The name is Lord Trav, but my friends just call me Trav. I am from a small settlement not far from here, and the reason I ambushed your group was simple." He took a pause for effect, mostly to buy himself more time to come up with a viable lie. "You see I am a deputy for my fair village, and was told by my commanding officer to chase down some bandits resembling your small group. Unfortunately I acted before I thought and attacked you. You see, you struck me as the leader from the air you seemed poised, strong, intelligent, and in charge. It wasn't until I got to further observe your little team, that I realized you weren't the bandits I was looking for at all. I would like to apologize for the mixup and any harm I may have caused you." He thought maybe he was laying it on a little thick with all the compliments, but if it worked who cares?
"Well, 'trav', you you still should've known we were not the ponies you were looking for when you got closer", Bryz spat
Crimson walked up to Rosenberg's group and studied it's members. "You want to organize a trade?" he questioned. "For starter's, that black pegasus is planning to betray all of you as soon as you let him go. I've seen pony's like him since the last day various times, but i wont let a pointless murderer wonder around doing what he pleases. And for the electrical damages that the scribe has taken, he's planing to kill you anyways." He studied around for a few moments. "You never see any Pegasi anymore. Ever since they closed the clouds after Cloudsdale was hit, it's understandable. I can trade, you tell me what you did first that let to these events. A fight was obvious, but something happened. Some pony was outside the commando's demanding entrance, you are from this era i assume?" "And pegasi. I want to know what happens if we release you, and try not to lie. The last thing you want to do in your situation is lie..."
Trav eyed the new pony. "Well first off, I just love how you come in here barking orders like you own the place. Secondly, I have no reason to harm any of you, and have taken a fancy to Bryz over there," he nodded towards the white pegasus. "So I guess, I would like to accompany this rag tag group...that is if they would have me?" Trav gave the best puppy dog face he could which, by all means, sucked.
Timestopper deployed the R20 "Find any survivors in a 200 mile radius" Timestopper said as he walked out of the forest with his smoke bombs ready
Bryz blushed and stepped back a little from trav,"I'm sure ponies would rather be in safety...", she replied to crimson, ignoring his other question
Crimson had a smug smile on his face, in disgust from lack of respect and the fact that he was looking directly at a psychopath. "Listen buddy. I just told you not to lie to me and that im merely "barking orders like i own the place" in safety of what you were about to do to Bryz. If you harm anypony here, i will hunt you down to the ends of the earth and wipe that smile clean off your face. I'm not trying to be disrespectful, im just trying to stop a future fight." Crimson then turned around at Bryz. "Kid's these days. They we not like this before the war." he joked as he turned around to Trav.
The R20 gave out the most generic robot voice *155 ponies in area. 17 dead and the closest group has 5 ponies in it and are 59 miles east, 4 miles north and 1 mile down* "thank you R20" Timestopper began walking
"Ooh, I have an idea...", Bryz said, readying her flamethrower,"lets roast him alive.", she said darkly
"Unless he cant confess to your more....diplomatic means, then he will have more then two minutes to give me the best reason that he should not be burnt to a crisp. Im usually against murder, but against mass murderers..." he said, eying Trav directly into his eyes. "Well, your time starts now."
The R20 flew next to Timestopper as he walked *Master, the Ponies are armed are you sure* "Yes I am sure" Timestopper decided to Fly to the location
Trav looked at each of the ponies standing around him. "Well," he started, "you can't really prove I'm a mass murderer. You are going by assumption, though they aren't too far off. All I can say is, if you were to show compassion, you would be the first ever to do so towards me. I don't plan on being a bother to you, or your cause, I just wish to seek my revenge on those that killed my mother. I don't wish to harm innocent ponies, just bring justice in a justice less world. Are my methods always right? No. Are they always against deserving ponies? No. Just so long as at the end of the day I can look back and see that I took out more evil in this world then I brought in to it, then it has been a successful day. You can roast me alive, it might do all of Equestria a favor, but unless you know for sure...it could weigh on your minds forever." Trav looked at the crimson pony trying to figure out if he had touched a nerve or not. "On a lighter note," Trav added with a chuckle, "Bryz should really get to know me better before she wants me dead."
"I doubt I'll really get to know you, you're really confusing me, you're talking all good about me even though I shocked you, & why would we trust you after you threatened our friend?", Bryz asked lowering her flamethrower
