"No, but I do trust him more than you already...", Bryz replied to trav, taking a few steps to the side, away from him
"that feeling is mutual" Timestopper said keeping his hoof on his flintlock pistol that was attached to his belt
"Pfft...just because he didn't tackle one of your friends doesn't mean he is trustworthy sweetheart," Trav sneered that last word at Bryz. "There are many unsavory ponies in the Wastelands, and just because they don't come out and act like they mean you harm doesn't mean that they don't." Trav could tell that his stay with this group would be brief. Crimson stated that one pony had escaped when he fought the Manehattan group, and Trav had his suspicious that he would try to restart the group. Plus, he didn't much care for "group activities". He was a solo pony and liked it that way. He looked at the new arrival who had his hoof on a flintlock at his side. "Do whatever, let me know what you decide. Until you lot figure it out I'm going to be relaxing on a cloud." Trav took off and hovered over the group, "by the way. My name is Trav. Pleasure to meet you." He gave a slight bow then flew to the nearest cloud. He fluffed it and settled in, while the ponies below figured out who the new guy was, and what it was he wanted.
Timestopper looked at Trav as he flew away. R20 began to speak *Master I believe you should introduce yourself*
Crimson watched Trav disappear into the perpetual cover of cloud that blanketed Equestria. He could take out Eclipse out at anytime, but would like to do it sooner than later. Once they were gone forever, Crimson can finally relax and not worry about the threat of invasion of another group and can focus on completely taking down raiders and slavers, which he believes would allow Equestria to rebuild again. While Timestopper was introducing himself to the others, he sent a message on his pipbuck to his faction, The Brotherhood of Life. He quickly got a reply back from the council, which turned out to be his former Eternal comrades. Even though he hasn’t seen them face to face for over two hundred years, they have kept in contact through pipbuck messaging. And even then, a message from them is very rare, maybe once a decade and two a decade if he’s lucky. He then looked back at Timestopper who had come to him now. “Sorry about that, i had a issue with my pipbuck.” Crimson said, trying not to reveal his true background incase he would be rejected. “My name’s Crimson Lionheart, High Elder of the Brotherhood of Life and former King of Los Pegasus. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
Julion had decided to take 3 of his favorite Commandos with him for this new contract, Snipes, Bloody 2, and Heavy Stomp, all who were the best of the best in the Commandos. Heavy Stomp is a former Steel Ranger and wears a modified Ranger power armor suit that has many a surprise hidden within, and prefers action to words. Bloody 2 was his second and command and has been the only Commando to ever come close to beating him in their sparring contests, she was a ruthless and cunning pony that looked at for those in her squad, and his best friend. And Snipes, well, she was the best sniper in the Wasteland and basically the closest thing he has to a daughter. The group stood on the edge of the Everfree, with Julion messing around with his Pipbuck, "Well, I have the location tagged. I guess we should just go and see what we find eh?" He said. "Do we have much choice?" Bloody asked "Nope." Julion said, "Now let's go."
Replacing his energy rifle on his back, Rosenburg looked the new arrival over. He seemed friendly enough, and at least more hospitable than Trav. No harm in introducing himself. "I'm Rosenburg, a scribe in the Steel Rangers," he offered. "I came here to explore that pre-war structure, but found stasis pods with Bryz and Haze here." He gestured to the two pegasi in turn. "You arrived not long after we met Trav and Crimson here. So what brings you to our humble little group?"
Bryz sets the flamethrower on her back, turns her 'shock' down as low as she could, a slight tingle, then walks up to timestopper, & holds outs hoof at him,"hello, I'm Bryz, who are you?"
"I'm Haze. Nice to meet you." Haze felt she had nothing more to say at this moment. So, she fell silent. Haze had noted already that this world was much more dangerous than it had been pre-war. Haze wasn't strong. She could probably slip past most danger, but she felt she needed a weapon to defend herself with in case things didn't go so smoothly- Just something small, like a dagger, or something... She began scanning the ground for any items she could use...
When Tyler walked into his stable he saw a group of slavers. Tyler walked in and said 'Hey whats going on here?" The slavers turned around and said "Hey buddy you got no business here this is our stable we claimed it now SCRAM" "Your stable? This isnt your stable" "And how would somepony like you know that?" "Because I built this vault this is MY stable not your so now you should scram" "You know what? NO we are taking over this stable so now go before I have to paint the walls red" The slaver pulled out a knife and his friends did too and Tyler wasnt sure wether they only had knives or if they were just hiding their guns for a suprise attack. Tyler decided to talk to them "Listen this stables has nothing no valuables, no caps nothing your just wasting your time here" "HA nice try your just trying to trick us into leaving" "Am I? If this is my stable then I would know if somepony stole all the valuables and plus the fact that I saw a bunch of Commandos take most of the good stuff so you should probably go after them their base is not that far from here to the north past the Everfree" "Hmmm well then I guess we will be going" The slavers pushed Tyler to the side and walked out Tyler then muttered to himself "He he stupid idiots I just led them to their doom" Tyler then sat in a chair and pulled out his family scrapbook. Tyler started to cry from all the fond memories he had with his family before the Last Day.
"Cryogenic Stasis pods? Well, that explains lot about you guys. Equestria was just building cryo pod's just before the Last Day came, my auntie who was my only parent was extremely influential and powerful in the Pre-war Equestrian government. She had power right up to the ministry mares themselves and often went to meetings with them. This relationship with the ministry mares and Princess Luna allowed her to become good friends with them and they were great friends to me. I even had magic lessons from Luna and Twilight Sparkle herself. Anyway, my Auntie knew about the coming apocalypse which she tried to stress to the Ministry Mare's, and built her own stable in an unknown location. She had remained in Cryo in her stable ever since, and was believed to have undergone an age stopping process augmentation like what Project Eternal did on me. She never knew about the end of the world, my achevements as an Eternal nor did she ever know about what has happened after the last day. But i believe that she is in Snowville, my hometown. The last thing she told me before the Last Day was "There is no place like home...", so maybe her stable is there." Crimson said to the group before turning to Timestopper. "And im sorry Timestopper. Since it was located near Equestria, Manidonia was hit by Megaspells but not as hard as Equestria. The Roaman's seen the connection between the two nations had. I visited there several years ago, and most of the nation is in ruins. Society there is beginning to make a come back, but it is slow and conservative. It is undoubtedly known that the Roaman's themselves took the hardest hit during the Last Day, my visit to Roam was that half the city had been leveled by a Megaspell and that the other half was almost untouched. Society there is....different now and that they are easily the largest and one of the most advanced factions in the post war world. "Since Manidonia was a war based nation I wouldn't be surprised if they attacked it. But the thing that surprises me is that my nation didn't wipe the Roaman off the face of the planet years before this 'last day'. Manidonians and Roamans always were at each other throats. But if I'm getting confused.. who are the Roamans, I am thinking them as the zebras" Timestopper took his hoof off of his flintlock. He trusted these ponies but not that much.
"Oh fine, I see how it is...", Bryz mutters, loweing her hoof, then walking back over to where she was previously
"sorry I an't no pony who shakes hooves" Timestopper looked at rosenburg "R20 scanned the area and you were the closest group of ponies" The R20 was scanning each of the ponies
(I'll act like Julion and his group headed out a little bit previous to all of y'all meeting so that way by the time they reach y'all, you haven't already left XD) Well over an hour's walk had lead Julion, Snipes, Bloody, and Heavy Stomp to the top of a hill, from which they could see a group about 300 meters ahead of them, one that seemed to constantly get new visitors, "What do you think we should do?" Bloody asked Julion silently. "I say we go say hi. See if they're a group that needs...dispersing...Snipes, Bloody, I want you guys to stay back, keep just far enough back to where you could easily rush in if things got dicey for assisting in an evac, and also that way we have an overlook watching over us in case of a trap. Heavy, you're coming with me because what better way to discourage problems than a leader of a powerful group of mercenaries and a former Steel Ranger." They all nodded in agreement with Julion's plan, and at about 150 meters away, they split into the two groups, Bloody watching Snipes' back as she kept a trained eye with a sniper on the group and Julion and Heavy approached them, Julion's armor in full-up position. "Well hello there ponies." Julion said in almost a condescending tone of voice from behind the helmet, which served to help mask his voice to prevent recognition, "What brings you out here?"
Rosenburg kept his eyes on the newcomers as they trotted towards his group. After (what he assumed to be) the leader spoke, Rosenburg stepped forward with a smile. "Hello to you too. We're just getting acquainted, actually. I'm a scribe of the Steel Rangers, and I guess I just came across these ponies here." He gestured around with a hoof to indicate his group. "And you two, what are you doing here? Passing through or looking to trade?"
Julion slightly chuckled, "Just passing through. We're currently on our way to complete a contract for some very well paying clients." He said, helmet suddenly withdrawing back to reveal his face, "I'm the Soldier, commander of the Commandos, and this is Heavy Stomp. Pleasure to met all of you." there was almost a sinister, killer tone providing a sharp edge to his seemingly good intentions in his voice.
Tyler, while still in the stable, decided to check some more just incase he missed some stuff. Tyler checked his parents room and he found some audio tapes. Tyler decided to bring them all just incase they had some important stuff on them. Tyler left the stable and walked back to Avalonia however he got lost on the way. Tyler, after walking for a while, heard some ponies talking. Tyler headed in the direction of the noise and he soon stumbled upon Time talking to some ponies. Tyler hid behind a tree and observed Time and the other ponies talking.
