Jazzy had been with the others in a small deserted building, near Tenpony's tower. Jazzy had removed his bass from his straps, and putted it in a corner. He was sitting around a table with Snipes and Bloody 2, but there was missing a chair for Heavy. "Does somepony knows where the soldier went? Please don't tell me he went alone to Calamity... He should've at least took one of you with him!"
Bloody 2 sighed, "Yes, he went on his own, this is his crusade after all. We will just have to wait." Julion sat in a corner of his room, taken aback by his new knowledge of the Stable Dweller. His life in Stable 2 came flooding back, overwhelming his thoughts, the innocence of his youth, the innocence of the entire Stable. His getting his cutie mark, his sneaking out because the only thing his talent would be useful for is therapy, and that was the last profession he wanted, everything. Julion swallowed, he probably even knew Littlepip in the stable, then a certain memory came to his head, playing side by side to the one he had seen from Littlepip's head, yes, he had seen her before, at her cutie mark celebration. He was a outcast, just like her, and it was this particular memory that caused his flight. Sweat drenched his face, he had just attacked somepony from HIS stable! Oh Godesses! What had he done! This was the first time he had ever felt true remorse for an attack, and to make it worse, he had let his guard down, allowing HER to see HIS stable memories! "What have I done." He said to himself.
Spoon noticed a camp, more a tent, near the city. Hoping that they were friendly. He sprinted towards it. Hearing voices and seeing lights inside. "Hello?" He cautioned.
(Please try to make more meaningful posts than that please, that just takes up room.) Julion had quietly found his way back to camp in the hour following the attack. He pushed his way through the door, face forlorn, when suddenly he felt a massive pain rip through his head right as he was about to greet the others, he cryed out in pain, then the world fell away, and he found himself looking through the eyes of a small mare. Oh goddesses, please don't let this be, he thought, "You okay Calamity?" his host, Littlepip, said, It is, he thought. "Yea, Ah should be should be fine. Wonder what brought 'im all the way to Tenpony, just to get me?" Calamity said. (I really don't feel like doing everything for the accent.) "I don't know, and who was he anyways?" Littlepip asked. "Somepony Ah thought Ah'ld never see again. 'Is name's the Soldier, best damned mercenary there is. Ah need to ask, did 'e get you with the red eyes?" Julion felt Littlepip nod, "It was strange, at first, it felt like he just totally took over my mind, but then, openness. I could suddenly see his foalhood memories, like from a memory orb, only more in depth. And I found something slightly disturbing." she said. "Really, what was it?" Calamity asked intrigued. "He's, he's from Stable 2, and I've seen him before." Julion then felt a tug, and the feeling of rising through water at finominal speed, then he was back in his own body.
Jazzy sighed. "Doesn't matter if it's his crusade or another's. The fact is, the last time he saw Calamity, he came back with a permanent mark on his face. And now, i saw that he'll regret something. What if he regrets to have lost his life, this time? All of you aren't worried for him? He's your chief after all. A pony you had been on journeys with, a great leader. It does nothing to you that such a nice pony may face a big danger out there?"
Bloody 2 held up a hoof, "Its ok, the Soldier's strong, he'll make it back, and this time, he has the element of surprise." Bloody 2's head suddenly jerked at the sound of a cry of pain to see Julion laying on the floor, seemingly unconscious, "Jazzy! Snipes! We need to get the Soldier to a bed stat!" Snipes nodded and grabbed Julion's back legs while Bloody 2 grabbed his head. They couldn't find a bed so they put him on the table, "Wonder what happened?" Snipes asked aloud. They watched as minutes went by without a single movement from Julion, finally his eyes fluttered open and he stood up rubbing his head, "Ug, I hope that never happens again."
(Sorry if these are too short, I don't have much to work off of.) Upon hearing more from the tent, and no response. Spoon repeated himself. Except for much, much louder.
"Hey guys," Ecliptic stated, hearing a voice, "Not to draw attention from the Soldier, but I think we have a visitor. Why don't you see who it is; I've got some basic medical training, but the Soldier doesn't look like he took any hits." (In case you're wondering, they reach tenpony tower in chapter 16, about three weeks in.)
Julion shook his head, "Yea, I'm fine, just, overworked that's all." Julion lied, then turned towards the voice. "What do you want?"
Spoon entered the tent, "Well, I kinda just left my vault, and maybe you could help me find my bearings?" He said, sitting down next to Ecliptic.
Julion's eyes narrowed at the sight of Spoon's armor, "Excuse me, would you mind taking a step outside with me?" he asked.
Julion stepped out of the tent and turned towards Spoon and looked him directly in the eye. Julion's eyes suddenly turned blood-red and Spoon felt stuck in place, "You know, I can't afford to have another member in my group. I already have two other stable dwellers with me," Excluding myself of course, "And I really don't feel like taking on another. I'm sorry, but I have no choice." two small mini-guns popped out from his armor, "But first, I will look at your memories." he said, tearing into Spoon's mind, purposely making it as painful as possible, yet Spoon would remain unable to scream.
(Sorry for my absence, been a while since I could get on) Having since followed his PipBuck's pre-recorded mapping spell, Cobalt has unknowingly been following in the tracks of the group for near a week now. Knowing that it is only a matter of 3 months of which to retrieve the replacement water chip, time is of the essence. Unfortunately, having being distracted by an incoming radio signal while exploring an old hut, the Pegasus fails to realize a rafter come crashing down onto his wing. With a scream of pain he attracts a less-than-friendly group of raider ponies. "Well well well... Lookie here, we've got ourselves a stable pony boys!" Unable to bend down to reach his battle saddle safety mechanism, the Pegasus only screamed a plea to the barren wastes. He was going to die there, and he knew it.
Realizing what he was going to do. Spoon slipped on the broken horn. And focused on the miniguns. Anything to try and destroy Julion while he still was in control. He could feel everything that ever happened to him violently ripped out of his mind. Birth, meeting Yule, getting his cutie mark, (A Spoon, who would have guessed?) Everything leading up to raiders breaking into his Stable. Killing everyone. Except for two. Him and Yule. She was alive! This recollection snapped him out of whatever trace he had been in. Trying to shake the feeling of a drill boring into his head; He shouted: "Help!" Right before jumping and sending a double hoof kick to Julion's muzzle.
(Miraculous rescue in 3...2...1!) The Major and a whole squad had been scouring the Wastlelands looking for a target when a hut nearby let loose a scream. The Major motioned for the squad to follow and they came up beside the shack, hearing raider's talking. The Major levitated out his rifle and slowly opened the door, and saw that the raider's backs were to him and the door. Another soldier came in with him and they took aim and fired, pulling their triggers as fast as possible, just mowing down the raiders. After the quick firefight the Major calmly walked up to the kid who had been surrounded and knelt down to him, "Well, look what we have here." he said, "Yet another Stabler has come in contact with the Commando army, I guess we should hold onto you until the Soldier makes his way back." Julion reared back from the sudden kick, "Oh, NOW YOU PAY!" he yelled, voice full of fury. Armor completely encased Julion and he brought a swinging kick right into the side of Spoon, flinging him into a nearby wall, "I am stronger than you little pony!" Julion yelled, Head Hunter and Silent Death pulled out. He pinned Spoon to the ground with his hooves and holding down anyway for his hooves to swing at Julion. Head Hunter floated up to Spoon's neck, "Here you die Spoon!" he yelled, remembering the kid's name from the memories.
Hearing the commotion, Ecliptic jumped up and rushed outside. He saw the newcomer and the Soldier exchange kicks. "HEY! What the hell is going on here!" His wings extended, eyes flashed briefly, and a wall of magic erupted between the two as Ecliptic took a battle stance, his gun at the ready.
Jazzy exited the tent, his bass tied up with the straps on his hips. "Silence! Now, no more blood, no more violence, can we just have a calm, peacefull talk WITHOUT guns, for once?"
