Horrified, Ecliptic spoke, "He read your memories? You can do that?" He had always thought of his mind as the one safe place where he could be alone with his thoughts. The idea that one could force their way into his mind was terrifying.
"T-That's nice... Now could you please get this damn thing off my wing?!" He winces in pain as the rafter shuffles a bit
Julion eyes narrowed, "You dare threaten me?" he said, voice low and full of angry. Julion's eyes turned red, and Bloody 2 and Snipes stepped out of the tent, weapons pointed at Eclipse's and Jazzy's head, while Julion's weapon pointed at the head of Spoon. Soon, Heavy Stomp had returned and his grenade launchers were out, ready to blow everything to smithereens, "Now, I tried to teach you the finer points of survival in the Wastlelands, and this is how you repay me. Write this down, because it holds true throughout the Wastlelands, no matter how much you trust somepony, they will always betray you in the end. I found that out the hard way, and now so will you." he warned, "And yes, getting into your mind is my talent. I can do what ever I want, even implant false memories, take memories, and also view your memories." The Major motioned to a couple soldiers and they easily lifted the rafters off of the kid. "Now, where were we? Oh yes." He motioned once more to the soldiers and suddenly the two lassoed his legs to his side and the Major pointed a gun at his head, "Don't worry, you won't feel a thing." a bright flash, and the stun bolt surged through his body, knocking him out. "Alright, let's get him out of here." the Major said.
Spoon dropped his bat. Panting. "S***, maybe," More panting, "Maybe we should head to tenpony tower."
(Just a side note, I can only Post before 7:00 pm EST, or 8 on Friday and saturday, sorry about that.)
(I know, when you wake you shall be in the infirmary. And besides, what they did could be considered actually helpful, by restraining you, they prevented you from moving anything that could have been injured more if it hadn't then by knocking you, it would prevent you from feeling pain. Makes sense right?!)
Jazzy looked at the soldier and smiled. "Oh, no. Now there's a gun pointing at me. And you think i'll surround in fear? I've learn a thing you should've learned too: Don't trust the appearances." In a flash, Jazzy was armed with his bass, his hooves playing a quiet melody on the chords. "I'm very disapointed: I knew you would attempt to kill me someday. But i've also figured what was your weakness. Wouldn't it be your origins? I've been told you're from a stable, and done my researches. I may know your real name, Mr. Soldier. I know you'd kill me if i tell it: so i'll keep it secret, don't worry. But i think it calls for another deal: I promise not to tell your real name, if you spare our lives this time. If you spare my life, you should spare theirs too, don't you think?"
Julion's face should no emotion, "Let me teach you a science lesson, light travels faster than sound, and even if you kill me, good ol' Snipes will kill you won't you." Snipes nodded, eyes red from Julion's trance. "Good." Julion then returned his attention to Jazzy, "Now, I wasn't planning on killing you, and I'm sure you don't want me taking over your mind so I will kindly ask you to put your weapons away before I make you. And how 'bout this deal, you put away your weapon, and walk away. Oh, and I'll kindly also take any information, true or false, you have of me, if not, I will break into your mind, and take them from you." Julion said smoothly, "Oh, and I honestly don't care if you know it, because I have the resources to take out anyone who finds out." suddenly Julion's irises shrunk behind his visor, and his weapons found their way back to their holsters on his sides. Julion's men were suddenly released, leaving them coughing on the ground (As you can tell, a quick sharp breaking of Julion's spell can easily incapacitate.) Julion found himself in the room he met Homage, aka DJ Pon3, and he saw Littlepip and Homage talking about his appearance, "Do you know his name?" Littlepip asked. Homage shook her head, "No, I'm afraid I don't know a lot about the Soldier other than that he leads probably one of the largest and most ruthless armies in the Wastlelands, and that he is cold and calculating and will kill if he feels like it. He even raided New Appleloosa twice, that is when he first came into contact with Calamity if my memory holds right. And his eyes," Homage shuddered, "If their red, don't look at them." Littlepip nodded, "I already knew that, but do you know what exactly he has against Calamity?". "No." was all Homage said.
"Huh. What the he hell is he doing?" Ecliptic said as the Soldier stood still, as if in a trance. "All in favor of leaving before he, I dunno, wakes up?"
Julion's (I dunno, tranced) body spoke in a low echoy voice, "No no, don't go. Its good to have friends, I miss my life. Yes friends are good. You always need friends." Bloody 2 was the first to recover from the breaking of the trace and walked up to her commander, "Uh Soldier, you ok?" she asked having a hoof in front of his face. No response, "I think we better stay, all of you, should stay, I'll calm him down if he's angry when he, uh, wakes." Julion's vision shifted once more, this time he was watching Calamity and a beautiful unicorn speaking to each other, "Are you sure your okay Calamity?" the unicorn asked worriedly. "Ya, Ah'm fine. Damned Soldier came out of nowhere, luckily he had used stun, or we wouldn't be talkin'. Then Lil'pip came in, she charged him, he bucked her into a wall, he used his trance on her, somethin' happened and 'e ran out. Can't say much else Velvet." Calamity replied, obviously not doing too well at calming Velvet down. "I wonder what happened that caused him to run, and its lucky that he did right?" Calamity nodded and Julion's vision faded out.
"Yeah sure, let's all stay here so when he does come back he can take control of you again and hold us at gunpoint while he rips out our memories and gives us new ones. Great plan. Who's up for a game of chess while we wait?" If there was a way to sound any more sarcastic, Ecliptic didn't know of it.
(It's one of those moments you could make something abusive while the main character isn't able to interfere.) Jazzy looked at the soldier, who had falled in a trance. "Well, it could be a good idea to flee, before he decides to kill all of us. Who knows what he can do with that power. Oh, wait, me. If i leave you all to take care of him, he's going to drive mad and kill everypony, and (he turned to Ecliptic) we may have a chance to survive. At least 35%. But if we stay, and that Soldier isn't in a good mood, i hope you can cast a shield fast. In that case,we would survive a minimum of two days, and walk to the ruins of Fillydelphia, 'cause it's where you're going to lead us. We may survive for a little while if we can pass through the town without the soldier's protection. Finally, i'm done with predictions! Now, what are we doing?"
Bloody 2 looked closer at Julion, "I don't think he'll be doing that after he wakes, remember what happened in the shack? I think this is the same, I don't think he'll be doing anything." Bloody 2 then tried to lift one of Julion's legs, "Yup, solid as a rock." She remarked. Julion found himself in a cold, grey room, one that was very familiar to him. "No, not this again!" He cried out. The walls melted away and revealed the Wastlelands, he saw himself, leading the raid on New Appleloosa once more. He looked up to see Calamity diving from the sky, battle saddle blazing. The much younger Julion looked up as his old number two, Firemane, was torn to shreds. Anger had filled Julion's eyes, and Silent Death slipped from its holster, returning fire at Calamity, hitting him in the wing, I'm realiving it, I'm witnessing the raid, Julion thought. A blue bolt slammed into Calamity's wing, paralyzing it, sending him crashing to the ground next Julion. Julion saw himself as he attacked Calamity with Head Hunter, Julion watched as how at first, his past self was seemingly winning, then Calamity blocked a swing with his battle saddle, getting the blade stuck in one of the weapons. His past self looked in shock as Calamity brought back a hoof and hit him square in face. His past self flew back from the force of the blow, and soon Calamity was on top of him, his own knife in his mouth. As he brought the knife to bear, in what should have been a killing blow was barely stopped as Julion used his eyes in an attempt to stop the blade, but it still hit his face. At that moment, present Julion felt like the blade was again in his flesh, then, the mare who would end up as Bloody 2, tackled Calamity off of him. That was the turning point of his life, when he became a cold, selfish, paranoid bastard. It was when he found that he wasn't invincible, that he could bleed just like everypony else, that his talent couldn't save him. Julion felt deep remorse all of a sudden, "What have I become, what have I done?! How many have suffered from my rage that shouldn't have." Maybe I should have been a therapist in Stable 2, I...I...I need to apologize! I need to be better! He thought. then, once more he had that rushing feeling as he regained control of his mind and found himself once again in the area outside the shack with everypony else. His helmet rolled back, "I'm...I'm sorry." he said before passing out.
Seeing the Soldier pass out, Ecliptic turned to Jazzy and responded. "So...only 35%...that's, uh, well it's not terrible, but then it's not exactly great either. Although, I have to know one thing. Am I going to suggest we go to Fillydelphia because you said I would, or would we still go there if you never mentioned it?"
