The large man walked around from the corner of the doorway... he had heard everything, and his suspicions were confirmed. His large luger, equipped with a silencer and made larger than regular lugers for it's caliber size, and pointed it at the two from his hip.
"Then if you don't want to live, then I'll kill you myself," Foster pulled out one of his combat knives and raised it for the stab. He truly didn't want to kill her, but she was the enemy, "Dieses ist für Deutschland!" (This is for Germany!) His sides were chosen, he would fight for his country, and he would do his best to destroy the enemy.
"You might want to check your friend behind you." she said, putting the bottle next to her and crossing her arms, waiting.
Rene received the letter from the movement and was far from pleased from what it meant to the Fuhrer. He knew that action against the revolution would mean the survival of the Reich, and that his allies would likely assist to take down revolutions in their own nations. However, it would also provoke the revolutionaries more, leading to more action against him. Rene sat at his type writer and personally wrote the response back. “To the Chaplin Movement You have just recently come to my attention, and I must admit that I’m impressed the level of effort that is being placed upon your movement. Since the Reich came into being, we’ve made more progress in the name of humanity than anybody would in seventy years. We’ve given you everything, medicine, education, fresh water and we have brought peace to a world at war. To be honest, since the passing of Hitler, the Reich was stronger than it has ever been before. Of course, we’ve might have committed atrocities in the name of good progress, but you cannot deny the impact we have made upon the world. I know why you’re doing this. I know you are afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease, genocide. There are a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. How did this happen? Who’s to blame? The purge of the French Republic was a nessacary step we had to take, despite the backlash we were ready to face. Now that you’ve taken steps to remove the work that the Reich has done, that Europe has done in the name of progress, I’m afraid that there will no longer be a peaceful offer such as reform in the system. I’m done playing games. As of now, your revolution is worth nothing to me. You are to be hunted down like the animals you are and you will be held accountable. I will cast down your revolution and bask in the dying agony of those who hold it dear. I’m not afraid to die and I will not stand idle to your revolution. You wish for a war? So be it...” Rene Schneider: Fuhrer of the Greater German Reich
Alexis received the letter and was very displeased. She sent an encrypted message to every chaplain movement group across Europe and America informing them of the situation. Two of the replies caught her by surprise, One of them was from Berlin informing of the growing influence within the lower ranks of the SA and Citizens. The writer spoke of a second beer hall putsch with the SA and citizens attending and spreading the message. The second was news of some of the third world Russian states forming together uniting them under the flag of Pre-1917 Russia. If it was a war he wanted it was a war he would get but things would be different. Rene would be expecting a war similar to the wars he faced before but instead he would be faced with sneaky and surprise guerilla tactics.
Reznove walked around before knocking on Alexis's door, "вы помните если я смог прийти внутри если ваше не слишком многодельное." (Do you mind if I could come in if your not busy?) Foster turned seeing a silenced pistol pointing at him, his sides were confirmed, he wanted to be part of the German army now but how could he do that if he's about to die? "Ich habe keine Wörter, denn es war meine eigene Störung für in dieses an erster Stelle sich kommen. Meine Seiten werden bestätigt, ich die deutsche Armee verbinden, aber wie kann möchte ich das tun, wenn ich im Begriff bin zu sterben?" (I have no words, for it was my own fault for getting myself into this in the first place. My sides are confirmed, I want to join the German army, but how can I do that when I'm about to die?) Foster was being honest this time, no plan to betray the behemoth, nothing. He was fully open.
Alexis opened the door to let Reznove in closing the windows and curtains incase it was a private thing he wanted to discuss.
Reznove walked in, seeing that Alexis had closed the windows and curtains, he closed the door behind him, "So, how is the movement going? Will Rene be wise enough to not fight at all?"
"Same fool he's always been. Also quite a lot of Berlin's citizens and lower rank SA soldiers have joined the Chaplin movement and are planning another beer hall putsch. Also it seems Some of the lesser Russian states are reforming under the Stalingrad state. I hear the head man behind this is called Trotsky." Alexis goes to the desk and hands the letter she received to Resnove. "Anything else you wanted to say or was that it."
Reznove smirked, "This is really good, I'm not surprised that Rene would deny the offer. But this is good, keep this up and we might just win this war." He sat down on a chair he pulled up, "I hope my friend is alright, I have no clue wether he is dead or not."
Undisclosed location, Europe All of Europe’s leaders had gathered together inside of an underground bunker to discuss the growing influence of the Chaplin Movement. Inside included the 39 year old Fuhrer Rene Schneider, the now 86 year old Duce of Italy, Benito Mussolini and the 72 year old Caudillo of Spain, Francisco Franco. Emperor Shōwa of the Empire of Japan rejected the chance to meet in Europe due to fears of assassination. All other leaders of Europe, such as President Halpain of the Scandinavian Union and a short blonde haired man, Tsar Markov the First also known as “the Puppet Tsar” of the wealthy Kingdom of Archangelsk would not attend due to fighting the movement in their own nations (The only ‘successful’ Russian state formed after the Soviet Collapse) could not attend. Essentially, all three of the Axis leaders sat inside a single seemingly empty room, heavily armed bodyguards outside. “We’re at war...” Rene said simply. “Like it or not, this movement is going to be the death of us if you don’t act soon. Mussolini, what is happening in Italy?” “It’s happening in Venice at the moment, the military has performed a blockade of the city. The method seems barbaric, but it’s something that we have had to perform to keep it contained.” Rene nodded before looking at Franco. “And Spain, Caudillo?” “Madrid is experiencing some protests, but they seem to be largely ignored. However, Barcelona has just triggered riots. It’s troublesome to deal with at the moment, but given time, the movement will fade in power.” Rene looked at the two of them, standing up from his chair. “This will not be enough, not even close. Military action has been authorised in the Reich. As i speak, troopers are reinforcing the police in different areas of the Reich. If you want to continue your way of life, I expect you to do the same.” “Emperor Shōwa has dominated the entire western seaboard of the United States, despite resistance in California being enormous. America, or what’s left of their government, are fighting against our ally Mexico. Not only does America have to fight them and Japan, but since there is an enormous minority population of Mexican or Spanish influence in America, they are also fighting against them, or barely controlling them if you believe the current events over there. I s-“ Rene was cut midsentence as a messenger was allowed into the room, cold sweat running down his face. “My Fuhrer! Terrible news...you are not going to like it!” He held a white envelope as he passed it over to Rene. As Rene began to read, his emotions turned into pure horror. He even dropped the letter as it fluttered straight to the ground. Franco and Mussolini looked at Rene before he turned around and addressed them what was happening. “Tsar Markov has been overthrown and replaced with Trotsky in the Chaplin Movement; the entirety of the Kingdom of Archangelsk has sided with the movement and are currently uniting the European Russian states, since Siberia is an independent nation in its entirety. To make matters worse, President Halpain has abandoned us and has just sided itself with the movement. They are even assisting in rebuilding England. Two of our allies, gone...” The room went silent before Mussolini spoke to Rene. “You’re hesitating about something. What’s wrong.” Rene just froze in fear as he looked at the hand before making a fist. “Reichsmarschall Albert Speer has just defected from Germany, he’s meeting up with the leaders of the movement.” Rene then screamed in anger as he punched straight through a wall, showing off the Fuhrer's impressive physical capabilities. He then looked at the two other leaders, taking deep breaths to calm himself down. "Prepare yourselves...." (I'm going to be playing as Speer for a bit.)
Alexis took Resnove with her as well as the mayor of the village. "Remember the outfit Resnove, you are the embodiment of the revoloution the strength and firepower while I am the mind. So in ways you are the mascot and inspiration to everyone in the world." They had decided to meet in a small mountain resort, now abandoned due to the war. "She sat near the fireplace in the lodge with a cup of hot chocolate as she waited for speer to show up. She was also hoping that the other two nations leaders would find a way to meet them too.
After a while, Speer had arrived in the village in an old midnight blue Mercedes Benz 770K that once belonged to Hitler that was given to Speer as a gift before he died. The car pulled up on the main street nearby Alexis and Resnove's location nearby, the only modification being a removed Nazi flag from the car. Other than an occasional maintenance, the car appeared to be worth far more than what was believed to have been. Two of his bodyguards, who all defected from the Reich to fight for a greater cause, went to Speer's door as a large crowd of onlookers watched the former Reichsfuhrer exit the car as the crowd applauded him. Speer was dressed in a light brown jacket that was also bulletproof and wore black formal clothing underneath, wishing to remove his image of simply being Rene's 2nd in command. He was not dressed up in the typical trench coats that the SS wore, that Rene used to wear, he wanted to prove that he was better than them. His first step, removing the swastika band around his arm and to just how serious he was about the movement, burn it inside a fireplace with Alexis and Resnove watching him. Speer's presence lifted the spirits of those in the town as he was escorted inside to meet with Alexis and Resnove.
Alexis stood up and curtsied towards Speer. "I thank you for fighting for the greater good. Do you want a hot drink or are you fine for the moment." She gestured towards a seat to the left of the fireplace and began talking. "I am here to appoint you as the main spokesperson for the people of the German Reich Chaplin movement. For I cannot take this mantle as I must oversee the entire operation and cannot get too caught up in a single area's actions. I am also here to inform you that starting from next month A C8 summit will be held in this very resort. With the Chaplin movement leaders of the UK, Italy, Spain and US as well as ourselves, Premier Trotsky and President Halpain to discuss the future of this world after the fall of Fascism."
Reznove wore a white outfit, along with the gold gas mask, this was not his style. Black was more his color, but other than that he was fine for now. He had a pistol o his hand, just incase anything happens, he would use the weapon. Reznove was there to protect Alexis, she is the leader. Something didn't seem right about all of this, this guy who ever he was gave Reznove the sick type feeling. Maybe it was because this person was from a different country? Reznove had no clue, he seemed tensed, but tried to relax.
"I'll be alright, thank you." Speer replied to Alexis offering him a drink. "I was informed just recently about the C8 summit, but knowing Rene and now that he know's that I've abandoned him, he's likely to crash the party. But while attacking the summit would get him success in essentially killing all his enemies, it's not good for him in the long run. Such an attack would damage his reputation substantially, and then there is the fact that these leaders can be replaced as well." "President Halpin and Premier Trotsky will be attending the summit next month, they are already at the brink of war as we speak. Rene, being a warmonger, is already planning to invade the Scandinavian Union and the Kingdom of Archangelsk as we speak. Trotsky has informed that he wishes to reinstate a modified Tsarist rule upon Russia, in that learning from history, he won't follow the same mistakes the Romanov's made. At the moment, his plan is incredible and the high majority of the general public agrees, since Communism was a total disaster and that Trotsky's plan might make Russia strong once more. Hell, we're lucky that many Russian cities, with the exception of the industrial heart of the country that includes Leningrad and Moscow did not fall under National Socialist rule."
The giant lowered his pistol, and handed Foster a note in German: "Now you smell like a REAL German." Adrian beckoned him to follow him. He led Foster towards his motorcycle, and he picked up the phone, his commanding Gestapo agent informing him about all that has happened whilst he was preforming the extermination at Briest. Sliding a panel cover over to reveal an enigma machine attached to a morse code broadcaster, the SSSU men had returned, briest now in flames, and the smell of burning flesh signifying victory at the camp. He sent the message to HQ, specifically to Rene. He could trust few people now. "Message: Briest has been purged. Reichskommander Adrian Vogelscheuche beginning return to base. When I arrive, I will have the Gestapo and the Schutzstaffeln Geheimpolizei (SS Secret Police / SSGP) will commence Protocol 13."
Ella sat there, dumbfounded at what just happened. An act of God? Luck? Extreme chance? A coming-of-age moment for boy who's finally become a man and joined the Reich? She looked up with a confused, almost as if she questioning the heavens if the molded roof wasn't there. As she gazed up, she felt the will to live again. She didn't know why, but she felt being alive was the greatest thing to do right do. As she stood up, she felt two things jab her from with her clothing. "Oh. I still have the knife and pistol from the prison camp." She thought aloud. It had been quite while since the camp and she never did use it. "I wonder were the Commandant went..." "Dead." She drew out the pistol from her pocket and limped out of the booze shack as fast as she could and continues east again. It was the only plan she really had at the moment. Albeit, she took a more sporadic approach, zing-zagging around this time.
"Protocol 13 is likely to have been issued back in Germany, and it's not particularly the best idea for Rene at the moment. He should have learned from what Stalin did to his officers, but how else is he going to remove the leadership struggle. Anyway, Germany is very likely to become a democracy after the collapse of the Reich. However, territorial issues are going to be a problem." Speer told the group. "Germany is likely going to hold onto Poland, and Russia is going to want Ukraine. If the movement succeeds, which it hopefully will, that's going to be an issue afterwards."
"I feel that this is an issue we must discuss when every representative is here for the meeting. In terms of protocol 14 it certainly won't bide well in the the way of civilian support for Rene. There is only a set amount of lies and cruelty a group can take until rising up. Take the Russian revolution of 1917 for example. Now the main thing we will need for the summit is some well trained and well equipped security, in case our location gets tipped off. Anyway, I wish you luck in leading the Chaplin movement in Germany. Even if from afar. Until the meeting... Goodbye." Alexis stood up and headed out towards a small VW beetle and drove back to the village with Resnove.
