Robin now in full wolf mode launched an bolt filled with Luna's magic into the his next bracing in the shadows for what it might do.
“I admire your heroism, but you have no idea what your messing with.” The figure walked out of the shadows to reveal Sollus. He had already transformed into an Ardak Luvanis. His mane was like a scarlet fire that seemed to burn harmlessly down his body. He had razor sharp dragon like claws instead of hooves and had the signature Black and Red eyes that an Ardak Luvanis had. His deep purple coat was adorned in Armor fit for a king.... or a future king in his case. “Your killing joke technique is as its name says... a joke. You know nothing of the legends of my kind, the Conquest by the Imperial Empire by Caesar the very first Ardak Luvanis, the revenge of Midnight Dawn or Dark Plague as you call him against Celestia whose power could kill a god. Today, I will join them in godhood and heal the disease this world has become. Today, will be the end of your world. Today, I have assembled the greatest army the world has ever known...” “AND WE ARE..... ALIKARVA!!!” Sollus bellowed as he charged his magic. His aura started to create lightning bolts as the ground shook and affected the group’s vision.
Silver laughed as Sollus finished his speech. "You foal. You are playing a game that you can not win." The Poison Joke had done it's job. Silver was mortally wounded, but he had kept Sollus occupied. He hoped that he had given his companions the time that they needed to prepare their attack. As the flames that engulfed his body died down and his armor began to cool, Silver lost consciousness on the floor of the throne room. Holly had fought her way to the castle courtyard, tearing apart anything that stood in her way. As the final enemy fell, she heard the sound of thunder and felt the ground shake beneath her paws. Without hesitation, the timber-wolf smashed through a window into the castle, and ran towards the sounds of battle.
"Crimson, we need to combine our magical strength. I have heard of a spell that if cast by 2 unicorns can create a Arvak Solarian out of the strongest mind. Now let Ridley continue distracting and stick to the unseen shadows".
Sollus then looked directly at Crimson before he could respond to Robin. He launched himself with the force of a fighter jet hitting mach speed and landed a punch to Crimson's chest, sending him through the wall.
Holly made it to the throne room in time to see Sollus knock Crimson aside like a filly's ragdoll. When she saw Silver lying on the floor, broken and barely alive, the timber-wolf howled in rage and launched herself at Sollus' face. Before her body was shattered by the Ardak Luvanis' claws, she was able to rake her own claws across Sollus' right eye.
"Oh Goddess." Ocean looked at Crimsons crippled body as she then looked at Sollus in rage. She decided to use the Poison Joke and transformed into a more refined Pegasus. However, she is much much faster then what she already was. Crimson got up slowly and also decided to take the poison joke. Something happened to his body, as his body made similar changes to Sollus. Crimson almost mirrored his appearance actually, with the exception of wings and his Blood red coat. His mane and tail were a purple and yellow fire and his eyes were black and red like Sollus. Magically wise, he was insanely powerful as he held out a pistol. "Let's begin....you monster" he said coldly. Sollus screamed in rage as he charged towards the two while ignoring Holly. Ocean and Crimson responded in Kind.
Silver slowly awoke and stood up. He knew that he would not last long, but he swore that he would go down fighting. He joined Ocean and Crimson and charged at Sollus.
Ocean, Crimson, Silver, Robin and the rest of the group continued to fight Sollus for more then half an hour. How they achieved this is amazing and considered imposable but they managed to do this was unknown. Eventfully, a miracle happened. Crimson noticed that Sollus, even through having god like power does not know an energy draining spell and how to reverse it. So while he was being distracted, Crimson drained almost all of the magical energy Sollus as his energy became his own. Crimson and Solus screamed in pain as they both lit up like torches. Once done, Crimson collapsed onto the ground unconscious and Sollus limpted thowards the exit. He was no longer a king, he barely had enough power than a magic school graduate. He was now out of his Ardak luvanis form and was just about to die. Who would deliver the final blow however and if he deserved it was up for question
Silver, more dead than alive, stumbled to his pack and pulled out his healing elixers. He tossed one of the bottles to Ocean Wave and drank half of the second elixer. Still injured, but out of immediate danger, he pursued Sollus and tackled him to the ground. With a vicious smile on his face, he forced the last of the healing potion down the defeated King's throat. "Sorry, but we're not going to let you off so easily, Sollus. Your armies will see you, broken and beaten, as we drag you out of here. You've lost, king, and now you have the rest of your immortal life to dwell on that fact." Silver released the magic that had transformed his body, and returned to his Lunar Pegasus form. Holly quickly re-formed her body and rushed to his side. "It's over. We won. Crimson, Ocean, Robin... you were all far less useless than I assumed that you would be. Let's get this trash back to Canterlot. I saw a chopper just outside."
"Good, off to the Canterlot dungeons he goes. Ready for a fair and just trial". Robin headed off to get some horn and wing clamps from the chopper before returning now back in pony form.
"Trial... right. Don't be naive, Robin. There isn't going to be a trial. Celestia sent her own sister to the moon. She's not big on 'fair.' Sollus will be sent straight to the deepest dungeon that anypony can find. He'll never see daylight again. Of course, there is a way to make sure that he can never escape..." Before his comrades could react, Silver rushed at Sollus, and with a single, vicious kick, broke Sollus' horn off at it's base. As Sollus screamed in rage and pain, Silver calmly picked up the horn and placed it in his saddlebag. "This will make a nice keepsake, don't you think?"
Ocean looked at Crimson's body scared. She had seen what had happened to his body when he absorbed all of Sollus magic energy. How his body was even able to handle that amount of energy being concentrated onto him suddenly is unknown but Crimson's power might have exceeded the princesses several times over, maybe even dozens of times over. "Crimson absorbed a extreme amount of energy.While he had absorbed that energy, Crimson would turn into another Sollus. But that seems unlikely as he is ferociously loyal to the princess." Ocean carried Crimson's body onto her solders. "Once we reach Canterlot again, Crimson needs to stay in the hospital until he could go to the hospital in case potions wont fix him." Ocean said as she then looked at Crimsons face, she gave him a kiss and looked at him once more. "Don't die Crimson, you can do this. I want to spend my life with you..."
"I hate to rush you, Ocean, but I seem to remember something about the allied armies being on the way. I'd like to get out here before this castle is destroyed with us still inside."
"We.....should leave now" Ocean said as he escaped the room with Crimson on her back just before the room stated to fall apart. Sollus was inside a containment shield nearby Silver using technology that was being directed by Robin. Moments after they escaped, the castle collapsed to the ground below and disappeared from the face of the earth
"okay, slowly, slowly. Stop now left a bit. Forward and left a bit more. That should do it". Robin gave out orders to some tech crew that showed up to help with the shield. Now let me just lock the base in place. He pressed a few buttons before sol us was attached to the helicopter".
Crimson's body was lifted onto another Helicopter. He would have to return to Canterlot immediately if he were to survive. Ocean boarded the helicopter as well to ensue Crimson's safety.
Silver opened his saddle bag and looked fondly at his newest treasures. The Poison Joke was gone, and one of his enchanted bottles had broken during the destruction of the castle, but he had managed to pry several dozen rare and valuable gems from Sollus' throne. On top of the pile sat Sollus' horn. Silver smiled. They had just fought a god, and won. He put the saddlebag back on and picked up Holly. He took off towards Canterlot and was waiting with a group of doctors and several dozen Royal Guards when the team landed.
The moment the helicopter landed, the doctors carried Crimsons body on top of a stretcher escorted by several Royal Guards. While the rest of the team followed, they were stopped by Celestia and the nation leaders. "How bad was it..." She asked. She was very worried about Crimson's condition. "Bad. Crimson absorbed all of Sollus energy to save us from that nightmare. We don't know how powerful he is now, but he has been unconscious for about three hours...We don't know if he is even alive. I'm sorry, but fighting an Ardak Luvanius took a toll on us." Ocean replied, tears now beginning to swell up. "I love him." she managed to spit out before she let her emotions take over. The Zebra leader put her hoof on her shoulder and shown Ocean a warm smile on her face. "He's a hero, all of you are hero's. Nopony will forget what you have accomplished for century's to come. We will continue with festivity's once Crimson wakes up.. if he wakes up." she said. Celestia then looked at Robin and Silver. "You should be proud of your accomplishments, you just took down a literal god. Not even fictional characters are capable of such an achievement." Celestria said as she then turned her attention on the Helicopter. "Let's finish Sollus off... or what ever is left of him."
"okay then". He guided the containment shield over to Celestia before deactivating it and throwing him towards Celestia. "he's all yours".
