Silver was not entirely sure what Robin was talking about. He had never heard of an 'Arvak Solari.' Of course, before today, he had never heard of an Ardak Luvanis, either. "I do not entirely understand your plan, Robin Hoof, but you got a few things wrong. The antithesis of of Famine is Plenty. War becomes Peace, Death becomes Life, and Pestilence becomes Healing. If you do not understand the power that you wish to wield, why would you seek it? If, however, you do have a plan to obtain this power, we need to hear it. Now is not the time to be vague with your ideas."
Celestia then decided to add in the group. "Me and Luna have a way, but it's dangerous. If the profercy's are true, all of you are the ones who can defeat the Ardak Luvanius, because you might all be Arvak Solari. Maybe destiny has led you here for a reason, you were all born to do this task at hand. Now... if any of you are up to it, follow me and Luna downstairs for something that will completely change your life." Celestia then walked off, Luna hesitated but smiled at Silver. "You wont regret it...."
In his entire life, Silver had only ever met one pony whom he trusted completely. Princess Luna had never once lied to him, even after her transformation into Nightmare Moon. He followed her without hesitation.
After half an hour of walking as the group walked down to the deepest corridors of Canterlot castle, they came across a dark but surprisingly large room with stain glass windows that barely received any sunlight. The center of the room had a huge stone circle with two distinct pictures, one of them being the Ardak Luvanius and the other being the Arvak Solari. Celestia used her magic to light up some torches to get some more light, it was evident that nobody has used this room in centurys. Celestia and Luna led to group to stand on the stone tablet while they began to speak. "This room is known as the promised chamber. This was used for significant religions reasons to outline the ultimate battle of good vs evil in the future, hoping that the priests that used to pray here hoped that they were on the winning side of good. This room isn't used anymore, but still holds its greatest power inside that circle." Luna then opened a book and placed it on a table and began to read aloud. "When the chosen ones come here, the stone will grant those chosen ones a power to shine brighter in the blackest darkness." Luna then pointed at a symbol on the wall. "All you need is a blood sample and if it recognizes it, then untold power awaits you."
Robin looked around the room seeing who would go first. no one seemed to step forward so he did. He picked up a small dagger "I Am ready. Solari casaenet li". he held out his hoof as he made a slight cut in it. dropping the few blood drops onto the symbol.
Silver doubted that the seal would accept a pony like him, but at Princess Luna's command, he added his own blood to the symbol, and waited.
Crimson and Ocean politely took the dagger from Robin and got a blood sample. All they had to do now was wait for Silver to use his sample, Crimson was busy noticing once of the stain glass windows that depicted the future event that the priests once foretold. The window depicted a group of heroes that looks extremely similar to the chosen ones defeating all of the Ardak Luvanius. While he could argue about the accuracy of the windows, he did admire the accuracy that the priests had of the future from centurys or possibly a thousand years ago.
Silver was not surprised that the symbol had not reacted to his blood. He was served Nightmare Moon, and felt no remorse for the crimes he had commited while leading her army. He stepped away from the symbol and sighed. Clearly, he was not destined to be a champion of good. Luna smiled slightly as Silver returned to her side. His disappointment was clear, though he tried to hide it. In Celestia's haste, she had forgotten to mention that the seal needed to be activated by Alicorn magic in order to work properly.
Robin noticed something was wrong. So he informed celestia.=, who quickly fixed the mistake. her horn glowed as she fired magic at the symbol.
The symbol started to change colour to a bright yellow then a shining white. The symbol turned night into day as strange changes began to appear, Crimson felt himself becoming astronomically more powerful than Celestia currently was and Ocean felt her wings change. These changes were nothing towards the final transformation however....
Robin was the next to transform he felt stronger and more agile. He also was on eye level with Luna. other than that the effects were yet to reach it's highest point.
Silver was resisting the transformation. The chaotic magic of the Poison Joke had nearly cost him his sanity. He was reluctant to risk exposing his body and mind to a type of magic that he had never before encountered. As he fought against the power that was coursing through his body, his eyes met Luna's. The Night Princess looked completely calm. Silver reminded himself that Luna's will was his law, as it was the law of all Lunar Pegasi. If the Princess wished for him to use this magic, he would do so. He closed his eyes, and let the transformation finish.
Celestia and Luna watched the scene unfold out of curiosity and amazement. After a few minutes, the flash of light stopped to reveal what had happened. Their jaws dropped at their new "Attributes" they have gained.
As the light faded, Robin felt weird. He looked down noticing he was higher and looked left and right noticing his wings. There was only one problem he was a mare.
Crimson looked at his new body, he was now an Alicorn. His overall appearance didn't change, he still had his purple and yellow hair plus his Crimson coat except he was the same height as Luna. He looked over towards Ocean and was amazed by the results. Not only did Ocean also transform into an Alicorn, but she looked more beautiful then ever. Her mane now went down her back and her wings and body became sleeker to represent her brand new flying speed which was quick enough to put any pegasi to shame, including the wonderbolts. Her overall appearance, like Crimson, didnt change much. They then looked at any other of the squad to see what had happened.. Then they seen Robins....situation
"Ocean, I guess you'll have to teach me about this body". He felt a bit weird as he look at his flowing mane similar to Celestia's but golden.
"I hope this is only temporary..." Silver's eyes crossed comically as he stared at the horn that had sprouted from his forehead. "...I don't think I'm cut out to be an Alicorn." Silver could feel an exponential increase in his strength and speed as the magic took hold. His power easily rivaled that of Princess Luna, a fact that displeased him greatly. Lunar Pegasi were meant to SERVE the Night Princess. To attempt to SURPASS her was unforgiveable. He turned to Princess Luna, and bowed. "Princess, we have done as you have asked..." His gaze fell upon Robin. "...What the buck?!"
"The changes can become permanent if you wish for it to be so, they can easily be removed. But that involves another ritual, the good thing is that you can add and remove these powers at anytime." Celestia added. Luna smiled at Silver's response and then tried to not burst out in laughter when she seen Robin as a mare. Celestia looked embarrassed about Robin. "Well....um....we can fix you" Celestia began. "The ritual was designed to that you can get used to the changes quickly, don't worry about learning how to fly." Crimson then walked up to Luna and handed her a book. As Luna began to read, it mentions something about the Ardak Luvanius. She then looks at her sister as they then signal that it was time to come back to the surface and back into the palace. When they returned to the throne room, they felt the ground shake. And a guard scared to death ran to alert the princess.
Silver glared at the terrified Night Guard. "Get a hold of yourself! You are a Lunar Pegasus! Our kind are supposed to be fearless! What is going on out there?!"
The guard took a moment to catch his breath. " I had flown all the way from Manehatten to tell you this. Four Alicorn's have arrived in the city and basically turned the whole place into a mass graveyard. Those who had escaped are still fleeing with the help of the military, terms of collateral are enormous" The Pegasus then looked at Celestia and Crimson. "The ground shaking was Manehatten, which is located hundreds of miles away. Those...Demon's are heading for you and should be here in at least twenty minutes." he said before collapsing to the ground in exhaustion. Crimson and Celestia then looked at each other before speaking. "They would undoubtedly be lead by my son, Midnight or Plague as he is known. Followed by Kaisar, the Imperial emperor from the Imperial Empire over a thousand years ago and this new arrival that i have never heard of. They might return Sollus to full strength and maybe give him a new horn. We cannot allow that to happen." Celestia said. Crimson cleared his throat. "With our new found powers, we would stand a chance against the Ardak Luvanius. Plague however, is in a whole other league. Celestia and Luna will take him on. We take the other three." "The time is here mares and gentlecolts. We are the light, they are the dark. Today, we stand united against them. Today, a battle for all of ponydom will be fought." Celestia added "Today.. is the Final Eclipse."
