He watched her, maybe a bit nervously. "Do you any bandaids for the one on my arm?" *** "You know me so well," she teased, getting up when she was finished and going to clean her dish.
She glanced over and her face softened. “Yeah, of course,” she said, reaching under the kitchen sink and pulling out a med kit, crossing over to him. “Show me?” *** “I actually barely know you, Urethra.”
He hesitated, looking down at his arm. "It's too big to fit a regular sized.. I'd just be closing it." *** "I was joking. Plus you said you wouldn't call me that."
She frowned before pulling out some gauze. “Here,” she said, that voice soft and gentle. “Let me see.” *** “That doesn’t sound like something I would promise.”
She finished patching him up, tying off the gauze before her gaze flickered up to him. Her face was less than a foot away from his. "There," she said quietly. "All better." * * * "I warned you not to."
She gave him a small smile. "Anytime, Mr. Audra." The song changed and she tilted her head, listening. "It's not the pale moon that excites me, that thrills, and delights me. It's just the nearness of you. It isn't your sweet conversation that brings this sensation, oh no, it's just the nearness of you." \* * * "I told you not to!" he exclaimed, turning on the sink.
She considered him thoughtfully before taking it, her fingers lacing easily with his. * * * He squinted before deflecting the water at her.
She looked up at him, her smile soft before she rested her head in the curve of his neck, going quiet. * * * "This isn't my fault."
He was quiet as well, rather enjoying the moment. *** She went to the sink before splashing water at him.
Their hands were folded against his heart, and Beck's hair would brush the underside of his chin, her skin soft against his neck. "I'm sorry you got hurt," she said quietly after a moment. * * * He gasped before turning on the sprayer and pointing it at her.
She shook her head slightly. "No, I don't. But... I would be really upset if you got hurt." * * * He laughed slightly, the chuckle like a growl in his throat. "I win!"
Her eyes were closed, but her lips curved up in a smile. "If you got hurt? Yes, Mr. Audra, I think I'd be fairly upset." * * * "How do you figure?"
