She grumbled something, curling up on the couch while Atticus nibbles on her ear. *** He frowned, coming to the edge of the cage. “Yeah? You okay?”
“I said that I hated this,” she grumbled. “I hate all components of this.” *** He seemed very surprised, but he kissed her back until he pulled away sharply, looking panicked. He backed away from her. “V, lock the door. Quickly.”
He frowned slightly. "Do you really?" *** Her brows furrowed as she did so, stepping back afterwards.
She looked up, her eyes soft. “What? No. I was joking. I’m actually really, really glad you’re here.” *** He watched her for a moment before doubling over. His transformation was almost instantaneous. He grew and within seconds, a huge wolf was in the cage, growling fiercely. He pressed up against the bars of the cell and she would be able to hear a sizzle as the silver burned his flesh. He whimpered, pacing back and forth, his hackles raised.
He smirked, bringing her the steaming soup. "Got you." *** She stepped forward again, her voice hesitant. "Gideon.."
She glared, lying back against the arm of the couch. “That is so unprofessional. I am sick.” *** His head turned to look at her and he whimpered mournfully, trying to nose his way through the bars to get her to pet him. She would hear the burning again and he helped, jerking his head back frantically.
He grinned at her adoringly, setting down the soup on the table. "Sorry." *** She reached her hands through to pet him, her gaze soft.
She rested her head on the arm of the couch, watching him thoughtfully. *** He let loose a mournful howl, leaning into her petting, his head tipping back and his mouth forming a perfect ‘o’ as he lamented.
He sat down between the table and the couch on the floor, looking back at her curiously. *** "You know I can't," she said gently. "You're making this difficult."
She laughed slightly, shaking her head. “This is so weird.” *** he groaned, knocking his head against the bars. She would hear the sound of the burning each time.
"This is after hours. We're fine." *** She frowned. After a few minutes, she returned, carefully opening the cage. "Please be good. You'll kill me later if you aren't."
She laughed slightly, watching him. “After hours? That makes it sound perverted.” *** He padded out quickly, heading down the hallway.
“You’re nasty, Mr. Audra.” *** He went into the kitchen and started scratching at the fridge, looking at her impatiently.
"I am not! You're the one that said that!" *** She paused, relaxing and opening the fridge. "What do you want?"
She laughed, standing up and coming over to the table. "You just... invite yourself over and start being all flirty..." * * * He paused, sniffing before reaching in and grabbing a package of raw bacon with his teeth, turning around and heading down the hallway.
