She sighed, standing up, her blanket slipping down her shoulders. "You hurt me greatly, Mr. Audra. You should maybe head home... you have an early morning tomorrow." * * * As she turned, she would see the elevator door close, Gideon inside of it, panting cheerfully.
"Hm," he murmured, standing up as well and kissing her cheek. "See you tomorrow, hopefully." *** She gasped, sprinting to the stairs.
She looked up at him, brightening. "You kissed me." * * * By the time she had gotten to the bottom, the elevator was empty. However, the revolving door was moving very fast.
She grinned, heading to the door. "I did." *** She was already out of breath from running down the stairs, but continued to follow him.
She followed him to the door. "I can't kiss you?" * * * He was trotting down the sidewalk, tongue lolling and looking delighted.
"Not on the lips. You're sick." *** She ran ahead to catch up with him, quite out of breath. "Gideon!"
She frowned. "This is... upsetting. You've got me all goofy." * * * He looked over at her, tongue lolling out playfully.
"I can't even kiss you. You give me this desire and now I can't do anything with it." * * * He glanced down at her, still walking down the street before he stopped and lowered his front, exposing his back to her.
She pursed her lips before nodding slightly. "Okay. Thank you for coming by." * * * He stood up and took off down the town.
She watched him leave. "See you soon." * * * They had walked for a while before a voice rang out. "Veronica!" Gwen was walking down the road hurriedly, in her uniform. It was hard to tell under her mask, but she looked furious.
(Yoop!) *** “Wolf,” Gwen said sharply. “Go home.” Gideon whimpered, but turned back, starting to head back.
Levy arrived at work, hanging up his coat. *** Veronica slipped off, she looked incredibly relieved. "Thank you, Gwen. I'm so, so sorry."
They were the first ones there. Beck was at her desk, typing something into her phone with a frown. *** “Right,” Gwen said sharply. “Go home, Veronica. I’ll take care of him.”
