He seemed happy, his eyes bright. "This is very exciting." *** She frowned, coming to the opening. "Gideon?"
"Because I really like you." *** She came into the cage as well, hugging him and resting her head on his shoulder. "Gideeoon."
She raised an eyebrow, looking amused. “Are you always so forward?” *** He turned his head away from her.
She tilted her head thoughtfully. “Why? Why not take things slowly?” *** He shook his head, pulling away from her.
"Well, no, I know. Just.. I'm excited." *** She watched him with furrowed brows for a moment before standing and going back to the bedroom to finish cleaning.
The corner of her lips curled up in a smile. “I know. I’m excited too.” *** He closed the gate door behind her with a clang.
He nodded. "I'm glad." *** She picked up the pieces before returning to the room and standing in front of the cage. "Gideon. This is unhelpful behavior."
“Are you generally so flirty with your assistants?” she teased. *** He said nothing, except he was lying on his back now.
She seemed amused by this answer. “Just me. Is it because I brainwash you?” *** He was quiet before leaning over and settling his head on her shoulder.
He rolled his eyes playfully. "No." *** She looked over at him before finding his hand and holding it.
“Are you sure? How do you know you’re not under my power right now?” *** He closed his eyes, looking quite tired.
He squinted. "When I'm under your power my head feels fuzzy and my chest feels strange. There's a difference." *** "Are you okay..?"
This seemed to intrigue her and she purses her red lips curiously. “What do you feel when you’re not under my power?” *** “Mm,” he grumbled. “I’m always in a bad mood after the full moon.”
She leaned against her folded hands, raising an eyebrow. "You can't focus around me? That must be bad for work." * * * He fell silent, no longer sulking.
