She tilted her head curiously, raising one eyebrow before lying next to him again, slipping an arm around his waist and resting her head on his chest. "I'm not sure, Mr. Audra." * * * The bed was ruffled like she had left it.
"It's during business hours," she replied slowly. "Even though it's Sunday." * * * He laughed slightly, climbing into bed next to her. "Weirdo."
“Well, kissing your chest seemed to make you nervous,” she said, looking up at him. “So I dialed it back to where I knew you were comfortable.” *** “You’re just a bit like a baby.”
"I wasn't nervous," he said, "just surprised." *** She sat up and glared down at him affectionately. "I am not like a baby."
"Nah, sorry, darling," she said lightly. "Our very new and very tentative relationship is now just a glorified business meeting." * * * "Yes, you are, but you're my baby. Come here, baby."
"There are worse things it could be," she protested. "Business meetings can be sexy." * * * He laughed, planting a kiss in her hair. "There. Perfect."
She laughed out loud, propping her chin on his chest, looking up at him. "You haven't had me in a business meeting yet. What kind of business meetings have you gone to that haven't had sexual tension?" * * * His arms slipped around her waist and he rested his forehead against hers.
She frowned, tilting her head. "We're going to have to fix that," she mused thoughtfully, reaching up to brush his jaw gently. * * * He watched her for a minute before closing his eyes as well, pulling her close.
"Oh, completely," she said primly. "You haven't lived until you've had a sexual-tension-filled business meeting." * * * He followed soon after.
