She gave him a devilish grin before pointing over the side of the building. A net was stretched out between the two buildings, protecting anyone from falling. * * * "Are you hungry at all?"
"Because I made you think that this was a very intense situation when it really wasn't." * * * "No. I just realized that I was being inconsiderate."
"Hm. Alright, well... for the next part, you're going to attack me." * * * "Yes, but I'm taking you on a date."
He frowned, but put himself into an offensive stance and threw a punch. *** She paused, looking up at him. "Well neither of us are hungry so it doesn't matter, right?"
She dodged it, stepping to the side quickly while studying him. "Your form is good," she mused, considering him. "Again." * * * "I suppose..." he said, squinting down at her. "I don't know why you're making this difficult."
She moved and he just barely grazed her side. She paused, considering his with a small smile. "Okay. Good. You're quite good, Adonis. Why do you want training, again?" * * * He sighed as the train screeched to a stop. "Whatever you say. Come on."
"I want to be a better hero.. I want to be more confident." *** She stood up, taking his hand. "I'm excited."
"Confidence," she mused, considering him. "What's one thing that really scares you? Not physically. What's something you can't bring yourself to do?" * * * "Oh no," he replied with mock seriousness. "This isn't going to be fun. We're doing this to learn."
He frowned, looking thoughtful. "I don't know. I don't like when people are at risk because of my actions. I also don't like accidentally hurting people or small spaces." *** She chuckled. "Wonderful."
She frowned before tilting her head. "Those aren't bad things to dislike, Adonis. It's good to not like those things." * * * "I don't think you're taking this seriously."
