He seemed unsure. "I've had a few girlfriends in the past.." *** She stood up and took his hand. "This is going to be very embarrassing for me."
"Currently," she said, tapping her fingernail against the marble countertop. "Is there anyone you're currently interested in?" * * * "No, it's not," he said, leading her to the rink. "It'll be fun."
“I would make you pursue it. Of course, this would more be over a longer period of time.” *** “I’ll probably catch you,” he amended.
She smirked, raising an eyebrow as she considered him. "Well?" * * * He got out on to the ice, turning to her and extending his hands for her balance.
He frowned. "No comment." *** She hesitated for a moment before stepping onto the ice, taking his hands.
Her grin widened and she rested her head on her hand. "Who is it, Adonis?" * * * He grinned, skating backwards and pulling her out onto the ice.
"I don't have anyone." *** She looked around with wide eyes. "Oh *squee!*, oh *squee!*. I'm gonna fall."
She brightened, looking like she hadn't been expecting this. "Really?" * * * "There we go," he murmured gently. "Just like that."
This seemed to make her truly happy and she nodded. “Alright, then.” *** He eyed her. “wow. Getting cocky.”
