She grinned, holding his hand tightly. "Yeah."
"You know how to ice skate!"
"You taught me!"
"You're my most promising student."
She grinned. "Perfect."
"Want to go a little faster?"
She hesitated before nodding. "Yeah."
He gave her a smile before moving even faster, pulling her along.
She watched the ice before looking up at him. "So how do you stop?"
"It can be a little scary. You're going to do this thing where you basically scrape up ice."
She squinted at him. "How?"
He paused before looking down. "Like this," he said, skidding to a stop.
She hesitated. "I don't know how to do that."
He began to turn in a circle, keeping her momentum going around him. "Just try it."
She frowned, pausing before stopping, her armed flailing a little.
He looked delighted. "Yes! Like that!"
She looked up at him with a grin. "I did it!"
"I'm proud of you."
"I'm proud of myself!"
"You should be," he agreed.
