They stood outside her apartment and he let go of her hand, turning to her. "I'll see you soon, then?"
He laughed slightly, ducking his head in embarrassment before cupping her jaw with his hand and kissing her gently, his thumb brushing her cheekbone.
She relaxed, one hand on his chest and the other on the side of his neck. She leaned into him, her heartbeat fast.
He leaned towards her as well, his fingers brushing gently through her hair before he pulled away slightly, his lips still brushing hers.
He grin widened and she unlocked the door, opening it and stepping inside. It was clean and colorful, decorated with plants and paintings and other items.
She shut the door and followed him, heading into the kitchen. The living room had a light gray couch with some colorful pillows. It faced the television, which was set up to a video game console. "I'm glad. I was a little worried."
She smiled at him, leaning over to kiss his cheek. "Thanks. Do you want anything in particular for dinner?"
