She considered him before setting down her glass, folding her arms. "Hm..." * * * Gideon was standing there, wearing a grey button-down with the top button open, his face brightening. "Hi!"
His brows furrowed slightly. "I'll still call." *** She grinned, opening the door wider. "Gideon! You can come in."
The corner of her mouth tilted up slightly and she looked up at him, although she seemed more resigned than anything else. "Will you?" * * * "Thanks, Lady," he said affectionately, kissing the top of her head.
He offered his hand to her. "Of course." *** She laughed slightly, closing the door behind him. "Do you have any ideas for dinner?"
She took it, her fingers lacing with his, making a small noise that seemed to indicate that she's didn't quite believe him. "Are you hungry?" * * * "Yes," he said brightly. "I have many ideas."
"I am," he said, kissing the back of her hand. "We could go out to get dinner, if you'd like." *** She looked up at him curiously. "What are they?"
"That'd be nice," she said appreciatively, tucking a loose lock of white hair behind her ear as she considered him. "What did you have in mind?" * * * "Shhh. I'll never tell," he said playfully. "But it's definitely Chinese food, movies, and ice cream."
He looked thoughtful. "Hm.. How about that one Thai place?" *** She laughed slightly, kissing his cheek. "Those are wonderful."
She leaned over, giving him a kiss on the cheek and wiping away the lipstick she left with her thumb. "That sounds great." * * * "But we could do all three," he said excitedly.
He grinned. "Great. When do you want to go?" *** She took his hands. "You're a genius. I'm so excited. "
"Let me get my stuff," she said distractedly, crossing the room to grab her purse. "One moment." * * * "It'll be fun, right?" he asked, kissing the top of her head.
She returned, slipping on her coat and buttoning it up, slipping her purse over her shoulder. "Alright. Let's go." * ** "I'm so glad," he said with relief. "Because I already ordered everything."
He nodded, opening the door and offering his hand to her. *** She laughed. "Thinking ahead. Should we find a good movie?"
She took it, turning off the lights and closing the door behind them. * * * "Yes," he agreed, brushing her hair back. "Do you want to get into pajamas or something?"
It was the day Levy was supposed to leave. He was at the airport. *** She quickly got changed, returning afterwards.
Beck was at the airport as well. They had departed from work, and she was standing in front of him, her gloved hands clasped together and her lips painted her trademark scarlet red. "You have everything?" * * * The food had arrived, and he looked up, holding an eggroll. "Chinese food!"
