He sighed. "I love you too." *** She frowned. "Well I can always break up with you, if that would mean I'm not a furry."
He did the same, drifting off. *** She went back and put the food on plates. "I'm breaking up with you."
Beck was asleep the next morning next to him, stretching out on her side. * * * He shook his head, leaving the apartment and closing the door.
He was asleep as well, his arms around her. *** She frowned and went to the door, waiting for him to come back.
Her alarm went off and she sat up instantly, blinking sleepily as she reached over to shut it off. *** He didn’t return.
She looked down at him, leaning down and kissing his temple. *** He was sitting in the hallway outside the door, humming. “Oh, hey furry.”
She kissed his cheek before looking over at his suitcases. "You need something to wear..." * * * He stared up at her innocently.
"No, but... haven't you worn all of those?" she asked, getting up as well. * * * "Well, you broke up with me, so I guess you're not a furry anymore."
He laughed, the tone maybe a little sheepish. "I always over pack because I can be picky." *** "But I want to be your girlfriend."
She tilted her head curiously for a moment. "I knew I loved you for a reason," she said smoothly, heading over to her drawers. * * * "Well, too bad. You broke up with me."
"Just... you're cute, you know?" * * * He stood up, dusting himself off before heading down the hallway.
