"A distraction...." Sorokin responded before thinking for a moment. Italy was actually planning to join Millennium due to the instabilities of their neighbors and the death threats they've received from France since the disaster. He had one idea for a distraction, but it would not be in Europe. If a distraction was large enough, he could potentially draw attention to Africa instead.
As VTOL reaches Eastern Europe, an urgent message had appeared over ADA... "US to send Warships and Marines to support Germany in the war against Millennium..." Yīng sighed before looking over at their sneaky compatriot. "You're s sneaky type, no? The world may have need of you..." ------ Though the Navy and Marine we're on their way to Europe, a small company of the Army mobilized across the Chicago Crater Zone. And they're target was the village of Velix. As APC escorted by tanks roared across the ruins, helicopters zipped over heard and began to circle around, searching for fighters.
As they took off, Allan saw something in the distance, "Hey, you boys have any idea what those are?" One of the troops took a sniper rifle and looked into its scope, he then rushed to the pilot, "Tell command to get Velix ready for defense, get the evacuation ships ready to launch and the underground railways prepped!" The pilot did so, awaiting for a response, and finally, "Ok, we are ordered to head back to the East near Rolvale, there we can rest." "What about the civvies? My family?" "They'l be fine kid." The pilot assured, but he was uncertain. The chopper turned and went the opposite direction, the second chopper following in just incase it needed support. -Back in Velix- The had already taken off, carrying the 103 civilians there were. There was a nuclear bomb armed, and by the time the ships were gone it would go off. The underground railways were only made for distraction, just to throw intruders off. The bomb had dropped in Chicago long ago after the war died out, and it never went off, but was armed for times like this.
The Warsaw Chopin Airport. The tall man looked around with piercing green eyes, which were sunken deep. His slicked back, dark brown hair reflected the light from above, moving as he turned his head. He wore his usual attire, black formal with a white shirt, as if to a funeral, the collar of his opened up, ankle-length, black overcoat upturned for low profile, showing a two-button jacket, a black vest, with ink-coloured flora patterned upon it. He was here to find an old friend of his, who lead a very large group called Millennium. As he walked outside, his pale, white skin seemed to perfectly suit the cold environment, his dark eyes like a skeleton as he looked down at the soft, snow-covered ground. Two men walked with him, dressed in all black, long dark coats and turtle necks. One was a man with dark blonde hair, the other a head-shaven man with stubble around his mouth. The two were neither escorts nor guards, only two other members from a secretive, relatively unknown group known as the Brotherhood, and now, the large man was looking for one of the few "Uninitiated" that knew of them...
Back in Europe A joint force of 200,000 German, English and American soldiers came over the German/Polish border in order to stop Millennium, expecting it to be an easy battle. Unfortunately for them, it was an absolute nightmare. Millennium had already dug into the surrounding area and using state of the art artillery guns, completely tore through the defenses of the European/American force with relative ease. Millennium also used their aircraft, which in comparison made the Eurofighter and any American plane look pathetic in comparison, completely secured air dominance quickly and even managed to destroy all of the bombers on the allied side, causing plenty of them to crash directly above Allied soldiers. And then the highly trained, well armed and highly organized Millennium armed forces came into the battle. They completely came out of nowhere with the most advanced weaponry and armor available, attacked from behind with a lightning raid and absolutely decimated the attacking force. The battle soon turned completely one-sided, and to retain what little dignity they had left, the allies had no choice but to retreat. The planned offensive was an absolute failure and the worst defeat since WW2. Elsewhere in Europe, Austria and the Czech Republic joined Millennium in their struggle to create a perfect unified democratic Europe after hearing about the embarrassment that the Allied forces suffered from. Italy was now suffering immense pressure to join the Millennium cause, but refused until President Evangelista was assassinated when Pro-Millennium supporters stabbed him to death in a manner similar to Julius Caesar. A week later, when elections took place, 81% of Italy voted yes to Millennium and were ultimately absorbed into the super nation, Switzerland followed suit a week later. Kampala, Uganda Since the incident, Africa has been in a state of endless war. After obtaining a tactical nuke, Millennium decided to turn the tables against the western world by creating a false flag incident where they detonated the warhead in Kampala, which eliminated 70% of the total population. What happened next would raise red flags world wide.
The large man stood before the former town hall of Warsaw, an old building he knew of very well. It was a moment before he put on the mask he was known so well for, his true identity. It was the mask of the Scarecrow. He stood still, letting the light snow fall upon him, and then, he walked towards the grand door that stood between him and entrance. He knocked three times, solid, echoing, and foreboding. The two men had put on masks of their own, worn black knit caps pulled down over their faces, with small holes for their eyes, and stitches for mouths... and they waited.....
"We have an issue with Millennium. We need them taken care of. We can offer to permanent amnesty for past and futr-" Yīng was saying before the VTOL was thrown aside by a large blast wave. ------ Two nukes were set off in both Rome and Kiev. Hundred off smaller scales explosions happened over the territory held by Millennium. Thousands where either dead, wounded, or missing. A small letter reached the office Sorokin, reeking of BBQ. "Immy doesn't like your game. Start lookin' for peace or all hell will come lose right on you."
Aenigma held on to the metal bar on the ceiling, as to not be knocked around by the shock wave. "What the hell was that?"
"Coming from an imperialist dictator..." Sorokin wrote back on his letter. "As much as you believe that we seek war, we don't want anything to occur to the people who has allied to our cause. We wish for peace to return to Europe, nothing else and nothing less. The West doesn't like our aims, but you misunderstand what Millennium is. It's an idea, you can't kill an idea. Hell, most of the former territories in Eastern Europe were absorbed into Millennium through peaceful diplomatic means on their own terms. We are not forcing anyone to join us, they are joining because they want peace." "Why can't America and the West accept this? Millennium is trying its best to find peace in a world at war, and your not making anything easier when you detonate warheads in our cities. In fact, your making things worse. So instead of writing to me, threatening to murder innocent civilians, think about what you are doing. We seek to establish a completely united European State through diplomatic means, much like your America. If you leave us be, you might have yourself an immensely powerful trading partner and ally. If not, then I'm afraid we can't do anything to save you." -A. Sorokin, Millennium Movement.
The VTOL Managed to regaining itself before hitting and skidding across the Ukrainian snow. The loading ramp slowly opened to a mushroom in the background over what was Kiev. "How can this have happened?"
The three of them waited for a moment still, wondering if the door would be answered by anyone or anything at all. 567.6 kilometers away from Warsaw, on the outskirts of Berlin, a small amount of the "Initiated", members of the Brotherhood, were placing a large device into the trailer of a semi-truck. The device was one of the most deadliest weapons people could get their hands on: a recreation of the Tsar Bomba. Fifty-eight megatons of TNT was it's power, though it had not been activated yet. The Tsar Bomba recreation was to be headed towards France very soon, in a plot that would practically annihilate France. The Brotherhood was planning on delivering a message towards the people in the world that believed themselves "greater powers." Of course, this was one of the reasons why Adrian sought Sorokin. He had his own plans for Millennium, not to hinder it, but to improve it. He saw the rise of a new era himself, and being a socialist, planned it for the best. Soon would be the time when all would know... the Brotherhood is rising.....
A guard opened the door for Adrian. "Sorry about that, we've received orders to answer to any non-millennium forces. We are technically at war, after all. Come in." The three VIP's were then let inside and upon discovering who they were, Sorokin's Black Guard soon surrounded them and led them directly to their office.
As the large man entered into Sorokin's office, he gestured towards his men to wait outside these doors. The two nodded and stepped away from the entrance, as the giant sat down where he could. He spoke, his voice very low, very deep, soft and smooth, weary and aged. "Old friend, I understand any thing that would possess you to be suspicious of anything, but as you know, privacy is preferred..."
Sorokin nodded as the guards that took Adrian to his office left the room in agreement. Once the door was shut, he looked back at Adrian. "Now, it's been a long time. As much as I would love to chat about the past, it seems that I've been receiving death threats from the west. America, Germany, England in particular. I've also received a third party response telling me not to "Destory" the West. While Millennium might be large, he believes that an army could dwarf ours." Sorokin said before looking at Adrian. "What brings you to visit?"
Aenigma walked off the loading ramp, and looked at the mushroom cloud. He had an malicious grin under the mask. "The Immigrant did this?" He asked, his synthesized voice ringing out in the tundra.
The large man seemed to smile under his mask. He spoke in a very deep, very low voice, his German accent quite apparent. "To let you know. You remember the Tsar Bomba from the history books? I've had another made. It didn't take much, only a gun pointed at the heads of the family of a nuclear physicist. It doesn't take much to convert some power-sources these days into a thermonuclear weapon." He laughed a deep, ominous laugh. What he continued to explain was that he had quite a few of these recreated, of course after having the scientist show him how to arm a fission-powered device, and was planning on placing them on each continent in the world, primarily in countries that were aligned with those who were against Millennium, quite a few on the western part of Europe. He also had his men place explosives in many of the great monuments from so long ago that were still standing, as well as political buildings, memorials, and well-known military bases, crippling morale, economy, and military strength all simultaneously...
As much as Sorokin would have loved to hear about the recreation of the strongest nuclear device in history, he had been working on a device almost ten times more powerful thanks to the technology of today. While in experimental stages and only on paper, it wouldn't take long to create. Unfortunately, Millennium was more of a movement instead of an empire. Once Millennium had united all of Europe under its banner, it will dissolve and reform itself as the European Federation, a single on party state with more economic and technological power than the United States ever would. It promoted unity and freedom and would have been an absolute powerhouse if it ever came to be a reality. Unfortunately, The Immigrant was watching him.
"Perhaps..." He continued. "You've heard about an old friend of mine? You know me... you've heard stories of the Teacher. And you've only heard whispers about another man..... the Immigrant?" His demeanor changed. He seemed slightly more hostile, but it could be seen that he was not about to pick a fight. He was not one to simply take the offense. The pale orb that was his eye seemed to show that he had something big in mind, and he was not alone in the world. Soon, the Earth would remain nothing but moth-eaten and infested, devoured by itself from self-destruction made even greater by the Brotherhood. Necessary evil.
"It had to be..." Yīng said before turning to his security team. "We're still heading home, but we must detour." He turned and began heading west to Warsaw. "I have a surprise inspection to make." ---------- Meanwhile, in Mexico... The leaders of the The US, Canada, and Mexico gathered in Mexico city to sign the historic treaty to unite the continent as one country. As they ready their pens for signing, and odd occurrence happened... Some of the Mexican troops began to open fire on the others, quickly emptying the room loyal soldiers. The familiar Gen. Carmona walked on stage took the mic as the cameras still recorded. "Mexico will never bow to Imperialists."he said before executing the Mexican president.
