^ This is the man that we need Also, downwards spiral? I don't know about anypony else, but I'm happy with the way the site is at the moment. There's friendly users, some good discussions in the forums, and a lot of events starting to take shape. I haven't seen any major complaints or anything from other site users about the way things are going, therefore I assume things are going fine and dandy.
Bob the Builder, can he fix it? Yes he can! If you pretty much talk to anyone who joined Pre-November, they can tell you how much better it was than now with people leaving and this stuff happening.
If you call staff leaving and people being generally unhappy with how the site is being run the same from Pre November, I must say, that's a faulty assumption.
Actually, I can name a few members other than me. I'd name them, but they should really come out themselves.

Well of course it was better but with the implication of a downward spiral you're saying that it's only getting worse. Quite the contrary, over the past few months it's only been getting better
Perhaps in my urge to make the site better I've forgotten what it means for this site to get better. I've been selfish through and through with the whole downward spiral thing. It's my personal opinion (And pretty much only 2 or 3 people share it.) and it is subject to change. Maybe when I stop being blind I can see what really needs to be worked on here. I'll be sure to tell the staff what I think is wrong with the site, and they will see if my conclusions hold merit and if so, act on it. But for now we just let this rest until a decision is made.
I don't know how the General Discussion switched from discussing things to picking fights with the rules and staff. Is it really so enthralling?
I think it's because it's in this part of the site; an easy to find spot that allowed it to cause such a massive scene. That and Saikyo appears to have been embodying his avatar for about six pages. Was a PM not enough? The issue is with Flash. Not the rest of us.
Very clever, haha. He's right about the PMs, though. I know this subject is a bit touchy, so most people are staying out of it if they don't really know anything about it.
EveryPony is not and will never be the same as it was back between July & October. Staff has constantly had drama, and the site itself has had some drama, as well. Even I see the site slowly sinking, it's so subtle people don't even see it, I've been here and seen enough to look at the ship as a whole instead of shutting a door and ignoring it. Though I said my piece on Flash, and spoken with him after my posting, doesn't mean I'm thrilled with the way staff handles things. A community isn't a business, this is true, but authority has to be business-like enough to make the community work out properly. So far it hasn't worked very well. I've seen DJs be rude about things that could have just been handled by a friendly reminder instead of a snippy, rude comment. So don't even get me started on all the crap I know.
