http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbFZ-adsKc8 Some radio hosts are bullying Bronies now. "If you like My Little Pony, you - " You WHAT? Adult women have loved it for almost thirty years, and no damns were given. What is with these double standards?! "There is a website called Fortune." 4chan, ha. All right, I make those kind of mistakes all the time, but eh, amused me.
...This just proves their stupidity. I don't care what they say about it, the fact that they found the wrong picture to portrait the new generation just proves their stupidity. Fox is a joke - laugh at it.
All I gotta say is... All we gotta do is be the bigger people so everyone brony bashing sees just how wrong they are.
This is why we got the Mayans to end their calendar on the Winter Moon Festival after next. We're taking over the world, one country at a time. I nominate Canada, the country with... pretty much no military defenses at all.
All of this...this hate, this baseless assumption, this mindless dribble...I find it all hilarious. They're making fun of people...for having interests. They are making fun of the human ability to prefer one thing over another, which is one of the things that helps make us unique. So in insulting bronies, they are insulting their own species and, indirectly, themselves without even realizing it. When you think about it like that, it all becomes a joke. The name-calling, the laughing, the mockery- it's all a monstrous, demented gag. Sooner or later, they'll realize this, and it'll stop being funny. Until then, just ignore them and stick to the good ol' love and tolerance method of brony resistance. They'll stop eventually. If not...well...as a certain pink pony once sang..."Cupcakes, so sweet and tasty..."
It's human nature. "If you're not like us, you're weird." As a survival instinct, that served us well. Now, it's an outdated, antiquated notion that is only holding us back from our full potential.
Yes, I suppose you're right about that. I guess we only have no choice but to ha-ha at the hatey. (I'm sorry; I know it's terrible, I just couldn't resist.)
its called the internet, weird stuff happens, i doute leaving jobs for this has 'happened' as i can still go to work, and not let on =/ i'll get ripped more then i do at work for this, but when uk has TOYS!!! me give no care,
My boss gave me a load of crap when he first found out I watched it, but after a week or so, he asked me what I was doing watching a cartoon that was "made for little girls" I told him. I enjoy the series, it's well written, and it makes me smile. He finally ended up reading a synopsis of the series and watched the first two episodes. Now HE'S hooked, and he sticks up for the show. Nopony gives him crap about it. He used to be a professional fighter, and he likes to be intimidating, so people generally stop making their snide little jokes and have just accepted it for what it is.
I'm a part-time Grammar Nazi. If you ever need proofreading for your English essay, I'm always around.
At the moment, we're working for Chevron. It's good to have someone like him having my back. I just don't understand why he's there, to be honest.
Honestly, I think the dude is a brony. He says "I for one welcome our Canadian overlords". Though I know that it is a Simpsons reference, there is a picture of the guy who said that in the Simpsons saying that about ponies. I could be wrong, but I don't know.....
ignorance Kinda the hard thing to ignore but its only one person. Not like as if every person with a heart is gona attempt such a stupid act
What the person above said. People these days aren't smart enough to realise that they're being immature when making fun of someone for their interests, whether it be Fox News or the dipwad judgemental teens over here in 9th grade. I'm the only sophisticated gentlemen at my school, only one who's nice to everyone, and the only one who watches MLP (as far as I know). I've never dated a single girl. And I think I like being single. But I don't like it at the same time. Edit: I just did some thinking, and guess what? Someone said Fox News is basically preaching that if two people have one thing in common, then they're identical in many ways, aka stereotyped. Guess what other group preached such? Spoiler: If you care, that is. I'll give you a hint, this was about 7 decades ago and targeted the members of the Jewish religion/race. That's right! The Nazi regime basically stated all Jewish people were A) Evil B) Big-nosed C) insert other ridiculous stereotypes here I didn't mean to bring up the regime, and that's why it's in a spoiler, I apologize if bringing them up is against the rules. I don't want to discuss them, but I wanted to point out that Fox News is acting the same way: both used generalization. Again, sorry if I broke the rules.
Great...now my hyper-fox-worshiping mother is going to think I wear diapers and don't show up to the full time career I've established over the last 2 years...thanks guys :/
