Iriko got into the plane swiftly, not saying a word he sat a note on the drivers seat. He then took his seat, the note would read, "I greatly thank you, I am currently hunting down the one named Cryoetch. He killed my entire team while I was away fighting."
As the plane finally took to the air, Steve read the note with mild disinterest. "Hmm... well, alright then. Have a seat. It's going to be a long flight." He thought back to the fight, remembering that the swordsman had explained who Cryotech was. Obviously, the man wasn't a mute. "And knock off the 'silent' act. It'd be a lot more effective if I hadn't heard you speak earlier."
Iriko sighed, "I never really talk much, even my men could have told you that." He was pissed at this point, but didn't express it. He was pissed at Cryotech, Iriko was going to have fun killing him. Although, the hunted man seemed to be off his A game, he would have killed Iriko if it weren't for these individuals. He would have to create another bounty group, after all, who wouldn't want to team up with the worlds famous predator?
JJ, feeling somewhat out of place, felt the need to introduce herself. "Hi, my name is JJ. What is all of your names?"
"Blade," Iriko said, he didn't want to give his real name, he barely knew them. He would need to trust these people if he needed to get to Britian.
"Steve Rogers. Nice to meet you." As the plane reached an altitude of 10,000 feet, Steve checked the compass, adjusted their course slightly to the northwest, and locked the yoke in place. "It's a little over eleven hours to New York. Get comfortable." Opening the book that he had received from Pandora, he began reading about Britain.
"Its nice to meet everyone." JJ said, being friendly and more outgoing than normal. she turned her head and attention to Steve, "Steve, how does this operate and what business do all of you have in Britain? "
The tall man looked upon the ruins of this once heavily populated city. Even though so much had happened and so much at changed he couldn't help but feel serenity. But the feeling didn't play anything on his emotions. He could only think. What is true right and true wrong? Who is to say what should and should not? These though enveloped his mind, though he still rummaged. But he felt something in his gut. Southwards? The man could only trust his gut, as it drove him a long ways from death. And there were only two paths in a world like this: survival or death. It was not long before he took out a laptop from his backpack, which had a connection to the route server one of the surveyor satellites could be programmed through. He looked through the screen and noticed as he went south into lower California, there seemed to be a plane leaving that place, but as he zoomed in closer, he noticed other people in the radio. He checked the location name: Nipton. He scanned the area for local radio frequencies and sent out a message using the voice-box simulation drive implanted in the laptop:"If anyone is listening, I want to hear. Use some kind of FM freqency radio."
Adaria stretched as she looked at the others nearby her. "Well....I'm going to sleep, there's nothing to do for the next eleven hours. Night!" With that, the Neko curled herself up in a little ball, or as much as her seat would allow her to, and closed her eyes
Steve set down his book and turned to JJ. "It's simple, really. I removed the old internal combustion engine, and replaced it with an electric motor. The mesh on this seat allows me to use my mutant ability to power the motor, as well as all of the plane's systems. The batteries can store enough power to keep the plane flying for an hour, even if I'm not in the seat. Basically, the range of this plane is only limited by how long I can fly her without a rest."
"Very interesting. Just don't push yourself too hard." JJ encouraged Steve. "Your mutant abilities are quite unique and amazing," she said.
Steve shrugged. "Unique, sure, but not amazing. You can fly. The Hellwalkers can control darkness. I watched Adaria move so fast that she was nothing but a blur. I'm just a walking battery. It's useful, sure, but not really all that special."
"We may be able to control darkness but in the day we are pretty useless. Unless of course there is a LOT and I mean a lot of shade nearby." Pandora replied to Steve. "So anybody had a chance to read up about Britain and Nottingham. If so what do you know and I'll tell you if its true or not."
Adaria, who had not quite fallen asleep yet, poked her head up to look at Pandora. "Um....I was taught that it was famous because of Robin Hood in school, plus the town is super old. And that you guys fought against some other guys., who were also fighting alot of other guys and that you were allied with some other guys and um.....*yarn* Does that count?" she said before her head seemingly gave way and fell to asleep again almost instantly. (I really like playing Adaria, it's actually really fun )
Steve shrugged. "I'm not complaining. There are plenty of great things about being a human battery. I almost never get tired. I'm not sure how it works, but I usually only need to sleep for a couple of hours every few days. Plus, it's almost impossible for me to be electrocuted. I've been struck by lightning six times, and all it did was give me a buzz like I'd had too much dandelion wine." He checked the compass again, making sure they were still on course. "By the way, where exactly in Britain are we heading?"
"The United Midlands of Old Britain also known as The UMB. Its capital is Nottingham and it is the belt that separates the Free lands of the North and the free lands of the south. Our leader Lucifer and Natasha kind of want to united the whole of Britain and Europe into one large empire. There should be an airport right about there called east Midlands airport."
"Someone has big plans and a known purpose at least." JJ stared out the window for forever it seemed then piped up, "Where are we now O Navigator?"
Isaac yawned as he awoke, looking out of one of the windows of the plane. "Geez I must have taken a near-dirt nap... I've been out for a while." He looked around at the new additions to the crew, and leaned back on the wooden bench. "Well. Hello."
While waiting for a response from Steve, JJ turned back to the gang on the bench. "Well hi, what's your name sleepy head?"
'Wait, where the hell did this guy come from!?' Iriko thought to himself. He said nothing to this newer person.
