"I have seen what you have done to the place since last time, I'd have to say that you are an adept builder," Psychotech started, he then looked at the man, "Cryotech is gaining suspicion, ever since the last war we had with our families he's been on the edge, nearing the cliff too close, I'm afraid war will break out. He is my brother yes, but," Psychotech leaned against the wall, "Your men are moving in our cities and kingdoms, taking what they want. Our supplies are running short and fast, I am not asking that you give us more, but I am asking that you remove those men from their post in our territory. Your testing on humans either needs to be moved or stopped, my brother is about to consider you an enemy, yet he does not speak for all of us. I have been an associate of your army for years, and this one thing I ask of you, just one thing I ask, remove your men from our area's, and stop the testing in our own cities, we don't want the civilians thinking that war is coming, they have been through too much, wouldn't you say?"

 

"The Midlands arms market is pretty good. Especially when it comes to explosives. As most of our weaponry are either British made World war 2 weaponry with the rare 1950's to 1990's era ones. Though they are reserved for the Grand dictator and his personal guards. So judging by the amount you've got you could easily fetch £1500 pounds for it if you go via the dealers though £2500 if you deal directly with Lucifer himself." Pandora said as she decided to stay with Steve.

 

Steve grinned.
"Not bad. Once we split the profits, that'll leave us all with a nice chunk of change.
I think I'd like to deal with Lucifer... I must admit that I'm curious to meet the man named after the Devil himself."

He had other reasons for wanting to meet the leader of the most powerful group in Britain, but for now, he would keep them to himself.

 

"We are called Hellwalkers or to the scientifically minded Homo-Demonicus. So I feel it would be an obvious step for some to be named after Demons. Also as part of our religion we sort of see the Devil and demons as the good guys rather than the bad." Pandora put some stuff away before she continued. "I mean in Europe at least, The UMB are the most powerful and most organized community there is. So while some may criticize us as satanic nationalist brutes we kind of aren't. Sure we are Satanist's but most are more Pro-Evolved than pure hellwalkers only also only the men are brutes but that can be said for any society. The whole premise of a hellwalker empire is that it is run by hellwalkers but gives extra freedoms to the evolved who are otherwise oppressed."

 

Steve shrugged.
"I've never thought much about religion. I've found quite a few Bibles, and Qur'ans, and Torahs, but I could never get past a few pages in any of them.
Heck, I only know the name Lucifer from comic books."

Staring at the water, he watched a large fish swim by, and sighed.
"If I live to be a hundred, I'll never understand bigotry. What's the point of hating somebody for something as simple as what deity they follow, or whether or not they have cat ears?"

 

Iriko stood by listening. He believed in god, never really worshipped the guy, he would pray ever once in a while when its needed. Although, he'd never thought that there was an actual guy named Lucifer, but he couldn't here the rest as he walked off. He had his own thoughts, but would keep them to himself.
Iriko walked until finding a small pond with a bench next to it... well the pond was the size of a back yard. It has various plants growing around it, this was the perfect spot to deal some peace and quiet. He sat down and looked at the pond, various fish of old and new kinds swimming about. He wondered what it would be like to live in a world of peace, but none of those existed. He continued to watch the peaceful ripples in the water.

 

"Yes, that would be great, and we'll keep stocking you up with the Chronos Technology." And like that he went out. Walking through the hallways of the very palace where he had fought the man, this place was the spot of his short victory before having his arms and legs explode. Psychotech walked out of the building to be met by a large drop ship, "Hey Sir! They Gonna Kill You For This!" One of the troops yelled out cracking a joke.
"Well they can suck a camel's [bleep], Lets get out of here!" He yelled back as the thrusters continued their bursting sound.

 

Steve had planned the timing of the flight very carefully.
Leaving New York just after sunrise would have them arriving in Nottingham at sunrise the next day.
On the off-chance that the Hellwalkers in Britain were as unfriendly as the males he had encountered in Nipton, he didn't want to meet them at night.

Dawn had just begun to break when Steve climbed into the plane and took his seat.
Isaac had decided to stay in New York, so there would be one fewer person on the seventeen hour flight to Britain.
Opening his book, he began reading to pass the time until everyone else was on board and ready.

 

JJ was not going to Britain with everyone else. So she decided to listen to what her old friend had to say and take the little Cargill for a quick tour of the fallen city of New York.

(If y'all get so far ahead, i'll just "teleport" my character to whatever event or time.)

 

After taking inventory on his items he collected, there was a rather odd weapon he has never known, "Hey, umm Steve right? Come check this thing out."
It was a large rifle of some sort (And yes I am on board the plane). It had various attachments on it and there was even a manual to go with it! Then there was a large sword from one of the commanding Cryotech officers he collected. It had some form of old writing on it, and it came with a binder.
The rifle had an Acog sight, but it had a protective 8x8 lens that went with it. It had three different barrels on the bottom, each one lined up and having some form of ammo clip to it. On the both sides of the main barrel, there was a laser sight and a flashlight. The gun looked new and very sturdy.
Iriko would have to give it to Steve when he would come around, ranged weapons were never his specialty. But the sword was perfect.

For the rifle, the three barrels were connected as if they were melted on to it. The right barrel was a grenade launcher, the left was a flame mortar add on so what it does is shoot balls of napalm fire, the the middle was a underslung shotgun.

Steve hefted the rifle. It was surprisingly lightweight for it's size.
"Interesting. I've seen a few custom jobs like this, but those were mostly just made by tinkerers.
This thing looks like it was mass produced, and recently.
There's no way that a psychopath like Cryotech would have the ability to make something like this."

He thought for a moment, coming to a sudden realization that was less than pleasant.
"Cryotech's working for somebody. He has to be.
Whoever it is, they've got technology beyond anything I've ever seen.
This rifle is considerably more advanced than any pre-impact weapon."

 

"There is also Chronos Technology," Iriko started as he looked at the weapon, "Its not Chronos, and I can agree with you. Chronos Technology is said to be the oldest yet the most powerful there is, I've seen very few use it and get consumed by the power to where they go insane. Cyotech is not a psychopath, he is just arrogant."
Iriko sighed, "Well, that weapon looks like something you would use. I found myself a sword." He lifted the blade up, it had some form of old carved text on it.

 

Steve shrugged.
"Not really my style. Still, it might come in handy for..."

He paused, noticing a small inscription on the barrel.
"Hey, have you ever heard of something called 'Elysium?'
It's an old Greek myth; their version of heaven.
It was supposed to be a paradise for those chosen by the gods...
I wonder why it's written on a gun?"

 

Iriko took the rifle and looked at it, "I've heard people talk about it, hell even Cryotech's even..."
"[Bleep], thats where he headed," Iriko had just now figured this out, "I guess he works for them, but why in the hell would anyone work for them?"

 

"No idea. Maybe they're the ones providing him with henchmen?"

Steve sighed.
"In all honesty, it's not my problem. I'm a wanderer, nothing more.
I just want to get the Hellwalkers to Nottingham, maybe spend a few exploring Britain, and then go right back home.
There's still a lot of America that I haven't seen."

 

"I don't mean to drag into my conflicts and hunting, when I get to Britain I'll leave to find Cryotech. Hopefully he's there though." Iriko said.
