Frozen and Ghost broke the surface, both barely conscious. Frozen's horn glowed, and a piece of ice materialized. Her eyelids fluttered, and she whimpered.
Angel reached the top and panted hard. She used the last of her strength to climb onto the bank and collasped at her side. Her wings soaking wet and useless till they dried. "Is.. Everypony.... Alright?" she managed to say
Panting, Ghost pulled them both out of the water. "Is your wing alright? I could barely see from the cold... I'm really sorry, Angel. And I'm sorry for trying to hurt you, Frozen." Ghost was shivering fiercely.
Ghost pulled off his combat jacket and wringed it out. Considerably drier, he wrapped it around Frozen. "There, that should be at least a little warmer. Is anypony hurt?"
Angel couldnt move her bones were chilled and her wings were wieghed down from the ice. "I.. cant.. move." Angel breathed heavily trying to gain it back.
Ghost put the coat back on her, "Here, at least use it to dry off," he sat down, and explained the events that had just transpired. "We found you on your way across the lake, and Angel called out to you. You were surprised and you fell through the ice. Angel tried to grab you but missed and fell in herself. I dove in after you fell through and I pulled you both to safety." He stared at her, "Why are you so sleepy, Frozen?"
"Lets all agree not to go into anymore water." Angel finally caught her breath. She used her magic to melt the ice iff her wings and warm them dry. She finally stood but with struggle. The night covered the sky and the trees only made it darker. "We need to get back, before anything else goes wrong." Angel checked her wings again and lifted into the air. "Need a lift?" she asked to both Ghost and Frozen.
Angel grabbed Frozen and place her on her back. They went higher in the air and headed straight for the house. In a few moments they landed on the platform and went inside. Angel put Frozen on the couch and went to set a fire but stopped hesitantly "Mind if i build a fire?" she asked Ghost.
Ghost, thought about what Frozen had said, 'I just woke up!' He didn't understand why it bothered him so much. If she just woke up, how'd she get here? Bah, I'm overthinking it... I just need some rest.
"Whats wrong?" Angel made the fire and layed on the rug infront of it. She sighed and thought of her suite at thr castle. The warm bed and the roaring fire. A wolf came over and rested against Angel's back, suprisinly the wolf was warm. She looked to Frozen then back to Ghost, who had yet to answer her question, she figured she would be recieving questions herself to. ((Its derpin for me 2))
"I... don't know..." Ghost said, "something about how she got there isn't right. That water would have woken anypony up, but... she said she just woke up, yet she was wide awake before she fell in..." Ghost put his head between his hooves, "I just don't understand..."
