"Hey, wait!" Ghost called, catching up to her, "Um, if you see some doctors' bags, three in all, and a steel briefcase, please grab them, but don't open the really beat-up one, please..." Ghost pleaded, "and if you find a small black box, roughly the size of your wing, carefully grab that too. I'll stay and look after Frozen..." Ghost was starting back, when he turned around and said, "Please, Angel... don't look in the bag..." With that, he went back to the house.
Frozen had gotten up, and was holding a old teddy bear, hugging it. This was the object she had loved so much.
Angel gave a puzzled look but continued on. She reache the school and saw it vacant. The roof was caved in from the robot and just to the side the robot its self leaking oil. She stayed in the bushes for a sec to make sure it was safe then trotted into the school. The hallways were dark with busted lockers left open. She rounded the corner and noticed a untouch classroom at the end. Angel peeked through the door and found the stuff Ghost was talking about. "Why does somepony like him need all this stuff?" she grumbled. She picked the stuff up and placed in on her back making her wings useless.
"Oh, h-hey Frozen" Ghost said, carefully avoiding close contact with both her and the fire. "That's a n-nice teddy bear you h-have, what's its name?" Ghost slowly and a bit clumsily made his way toward her.
Angel tried to make it through the door but couldnt fit with her wings spread out. She grumbled some more and used her magic to blast a hole through the wall. "This is impossible.." Angel left the room and explored more of the hall way. She came to some stairs that led to the basement and decided to skip it. Angel left the building and walked back to the house. She didnt go in but she placed the stuff on the elevator and sent it up. The elevator dinged and stayed at the top. Finally Angel could use her wing, she lifted off the ground and went the direction of Canterlot. "Ill be right back" she said as if anypony would hear her
"Huh?" Ghost thought he heard Angel's voice, but stopped pondering the subject when the elevator came up. He rushed over and grabbed the black box, opening it to reveal several different models of filters and schematics for each of them. He grabbed his two R3sp1r4t0r IV's (R-IV's, for short) but stopped, "Uh oh..." Ghost was beginning to feel light-headed, his filter was failing him. Ghost had a problem, he couldn't replace the filter now, not without going into shock. He looked at Frozen, and asked a deadly question. "H-hey... Frozen? C-could you make the air a lot c-colder...?" He desperately asked, "Don't *cough* worry, I sho- *cough* *cough* I should be fine... I hope..."
"Th-thanks... Frozen..." Ghost said, removing his mask, letting Frozen have a good look at the hideous, corroded, acid burns. "Th-the cold w-will kill me... but I can breathe without... my mask..." Ghost was growing weaker by the second, and propped himself against the couch for support.
"Could you... get me... my... attachment... pack...? One ...of the ...bags," Ghost said, weakly gesturing towards the three doctors bags, of which the beat-up one was closest to her.
Angel made it half way to Canterlot and almost to the steps of her room when she felt something was wrong. She looked around in the empty hall. She didnt see anything and went into her room. Her bed sat in the corner with the fireplace beside it. A mirror hug just the right hung from the cieling to the floor. Angel grabbed her bag and filled it with supplies. She found her hidden key and unlocked the cabinet that held her prized armor. It was a platinum color with her cutie mark made of amethyst stone. Angel place it delicately in her in bag and left to the balcony and took off back tothe tree house
"Frozen, p-please... I ...need help" Ghost was turning extremely pale, and his breathing became heavy and labored. "Just... look away ...from my face, ... I know ...I'm hideous,"
Angel landed just in time. "Couldnt this have waited till i was back?" Angel tried to help, not knowing exactly what she was doing but she managed.
Upon seeing Angel arrive, Ghost's disfigured mouth twisted into a weak smile. "No... It couldn't have waited..." He said, trying to stay awake and conscious.
Angel grabbed it and from being told earlier not to open it, she handed it to Ghost. "What am i suppose to do? You should realy give the commands before this happens." Angel kept a study voice.
Angel looked at Frozen with her teddy then back at Ghost. Angel looked at the bag and opened it slowly.
Ghost stood, with great effort, and gently slapped the bag out of Angel's hooves, dumping it on the floor. Terrible mistake. While the filter attachment kit was indeed in the bag, other things came out, too. Weaponry plans for the Royal Army, armor schematics, combat strategies, and even profiles on Angel and Frozen. The words, "Kill At Once" were stamped across the front of Angel's and "Capture For Biotics Testing" was on Frozen's. Both had Celestia's seal of authenticity, the magical stamp was unmistakably genuine.
Ghost quickly connected the kit to his mask, leaving two ports for filters, which he promptly attached. Now that he could breathe, Ghost realized the fatal error he made. He stood there, in shock. Ghost slowly backed up against the wall...
