He ran until he could run no more. Then, a droplet hit his head. "Well, of course it would start raining now!" Ghost screamed, and green flames surrounded him, disintegrating nearby trees. Ghost caused the green fire to form a ring around him, growing bigger and bigger as his anger sky-rocketed.
Angel didnt get it but something clicked in her mind, she uncovered herself, her white fur now had spots of dirt. She stood up and looked around, her eyes drowsy from crying. Angel just wanted to be left alone, she didnt want to hurt any pony. She ran after Ghost but after a few meters, she tripped on a root and fell to the floor, she tumbled and smashed against a tree. Her hoof now caught between rocks. "Ghost!" she yelled. She starte to panic again, no way she could defend an animal in this condition. She tried again "GHOST!" she yelled louder. "Ghost please. Im sorry i really am, i just wanted to be left alone." Angel hoped Ghost would hear her. She tried to chip away the rocks but they were tight. She spoke in a whisper "Ghost.. Please" Angel finally gave up and rested her head on the tree and cried. The rain down pouring around her drenching her golden mane and tail flat and turning her white coat a dark gray.
Something pulled him from his rage, "What the?" Ghost had an aching in his heart, so painful he had to follow where it was pointing him. Moments later he saw Angel, her hoof was stuck and she looked to be in considerable pain. "Angel!?" Ghost said, deeply concerned. "Wh-what happened? Hang on, I'll get you out," Ghost tried to push the rocks, but they were embedded firmly in the ground.
Ghost grabbed Angel carefully around the middle, "I'm sorry if this hurts you... I really am..." With that he lifted upwards and a small spark of green flame shot from his eyes, breaking the rocks apart. They were flung backwards, from the force and Ghost landed first, catching Angel as she tumbled.
Surprised by the sudden show of affection, Ghost lost his balance, and fell back onto the wet grass. "A-Angel?" He said, confused, then he hugged her back.
"I am so sorry, i just not sure what to think right now. Im not sure who to trust" Angel continued to sob and let go of Ghost.
"Hey, it's alright..." Ghost guided her under a tree where it was a little drier. He began bandaging her wounds, carefully, and quickly. "At least you can trust Frozen and I..."
"Alright, now you can't use your wings for a maximum of a couple days. So don't use them at all, got it? Also, your leg was partially fractured from the rocks, stay off of it for a week, at least. Alright?" Ghost stared into her eyes as be spoke.
Angel finally stopped crying and allowed Ghost to fix her wings. Her armor was now badly bent up and she figured it had lost its power as well. She nodded at Ghost's order and used her magic and paper and a quill showed up. She began writing a letter to Celestia. She finally finished it and sent it off. She stared blankly at Canterlot high and the mountains and waited for the reply. Angel layed on the ground and rested her head on her front legs, still staring at Canterlot
"Just cause" Angel wasnt sure why she did, she guess it was because she wanted everything to be fine. The chance to make things right if anything was wrong
Ghost eyed her, then stared off at Canterlot. Suddenly a dull boom was heard, and billowing smoke began rising from the castle wall. "What the hay!?" Ghost shouted in alarm. Picking up Angel, he ran off back towards the house, as more booms were heard throughout the forest.
"Blasted wings." Angel mumbled. She finally recieved a letter back but it was scribbled. Angel read it and her eyes went huge. "Celestia is asking for the Royal Army to come aid her, she needs me." Angel re-read the words trying to read between them.
"But you're hurt," Ghost said, "You can't use your leg either... unless," Ghost paused and thought about a way to allow her to walk again... "That's it!" He said happily, as they neared the tree house.
"What? Will it hurt? I probably know a spell to heal me.." Angel's voice trailed off as she thought of a spell.
"Well, no. No it won't hurt, and you should save your magic for when we get there." Ghost began rummaging through his bags and pulled out 10 heavy blocks of solid steel. He set Angel down next to them, and stood back. "This won't hurt, it's just gonna feel really weird." Ghost smiled.
