Pink Fizz stared intently, watching Twilight closely as if she was listening... and listening... her mouth was hanging open a little, but listening. Suddenly, she fluttered her lips and rolled her eyes. "DUH we dreamin'! We in da Dream Castle, after all! Ya don' finish dreamin' until ya wake up, of course!" She giggled lightly and a grin. "Ya should jus' relax a bit. If it a dream, den relaxin' will jus' ensure everythin' that happen to you is good! 'Cause if you stress in a dream, it becomes a nightmare." Then she thought hard... Entropy could probably smell the sizzling of her brain from her ear. "'Course, I usually wake up from a dream when I realize it a dream and I'm could be late for somethin'. Like class. I'd wake up and rush ta class, but it still start wit'out me." She sighs gently as that stupid school comes back to memory.
Dark Shine, Jhera, Lighting Chaser, Fireheart The townspoines are still giving you all dirty looks. Spoiler: Roll Perception for everypony there Dark Shine: 2 + 2 = 4 Jhera: 4 + 1 = 5 Lightning: 9 + 1 = 10 Fireheart: 8 + 2 = 10 Lighting and Fireheart notice that the townsponies, save for the ponies you've personally met, seem to have the same color eyes: Light yellow. Surpirse flitters over Dark Shine, Jhera, and Lightning. "Oooh...somepony's in truh-boll..." Fireheart sees that a couple of the townsponies are also headed to the treehouse. Their gait, while not quite zombie-like, is a bit unsettling.
"okay this is starting to get freakier than before, firstly they all have the same coloured eyes and the ponies gait is becoming really unsettling. Oh, and they're heading towards fizz and the other pony, who I can't seem to remember in the treehouse. I feel they are going to soon be in deep horse manure in other words deep s***". Fireheart slowly headed off heading round the back of the treehouse.
"What's wrong with these ponies?" Jhera asked as he noticed the flock of townsponies suddenly moving towards the treehouse. "Uh oh, don't tell me they did something!" Jhera turned and followed Fireheart closely. If those two had in fact done something...Constella- I mean CELESTIA help us all.
Suprise suddenly dropped down next to Dark Shine. "That's the home of Twilight Twinkle. She's cray-cray." At this, the pink pegasus twirled her forehoof around her ear and crossed her eyes. "She's a real loopy-loo." Posey, who had returned to the group chimed in, "Yeah. She's always making trouble for the Princess." Firefly crept out from behind Lightning Chaser. [size=-2]"And somepony went and opened the door to her house! That was magically sealed!"[/size] ----- Fireheart and Jhera continued to creep around toward the back of the house. It seemed that everypony was too busy going to the front of the house to notice. Glancing in the windows, both Fireheart and Jhera could see Entropy and Pink Fizz speaking to a purple earth pony. ----- Twilight glanced around Entropy and looked out the door. "Uh oh... Constella's found us out. Quick, act natural!" Her voice rose as she stated, "My, yes! Praise Constella! What? Oh, of course you may stay for tea!"
Act natural. Act natural? The words went into Fizz's ear and bounced around in her brain for a little while. What was natural? What was natural to HER anyway? Pink Fizz took a moment to think, then looked at Entropy. "Sorry 'bout this." Suddenly, she lurched forward and her eyes rolled up into her head as she suddenly pounced him and bit his ear! Not hard enough to do any permanent damage, mind you, but certaintly enough to be surprising and spontaneous. After all, it was only natural for Fizz to be spontaneous and surprising.
Surprise rolled her eyes. "Uh...what part of Loopy-Loo don't you understand? The loopy, or the loo?" Posey sighed in exasperation, "Put a sock in it, Surprise." She turned toward Dark Shine. "Twinkie is insane. Bonkers. She keeps spouting on about how this world isn't real and she keeps insisting that she's the Faithful Student of some Princess 'Celestia' or something. The only Princess here is Constella and she doesn't have any students! Everypony knows that..." She rolled her eyes, and suddenly Surprise shoved her out of the way. "Yeah! Constella had enough of it, so she locked her in that tree!"
Jhera peered into the window just in time to see Fizz pounce on the earth pony. Egads! Now she's assaulting somepony! he thought with sudden fear. He clicked a hoof on the window and mouthed "Stop it! You're going to cause trouble!"
Firefly spoke up. [size=-2]"If she gets out, she could cause all sorts of trouble. Constella locked her in there for a reason..."[/size] She shrank back, as if expecting Twinkle to attack her, and just her. ---- Twilight whipped her head around at the sound of Jhera tapping on the glass. "What? I...what?" She whipped her head back and forth, not entirely sure what to do. How was this natural?
Fireheart pulled back her hoof aiming it at the back window. "hopefully this works" Fire hit the glass at full speed
Spoiler: *sigh* Roll damage for Fireheart You take 1 damage for crawling around on broken glass. 2/3 HP You all suddenly hear a voice ring in each one of your heads. You have failed. Twilight's eyes grow wide and she starts to blurt something, but before anypony can make out what she said, everything goes white. Uh oh. She's done it now. It's all your fault. Why do we keep failing?! It wasn't me! It was them... Who are they? Why are they here? I feel sick. Please... Make it stop... When you come to, you find yourself in...a classroom. Everypony is seated at a desk, except for two. The nameplates on their respective desks read "Twilight Twinkle" and "Pink Fizzle". Immediately, after the bell rings, a grey alicorn walks into the classroom. Her mane flows around her like a fog, and she glares at each of you with light yellow eyes. She doens't so much glare at you as through you. Spoiler: Roll Perception Fireheart: 2 + 2 = 4 Jhera: Natural 20 Dark Shine: 4 + 2 = 6 Lightning: 15 + 1 = 16 Entropy: 2 + 4 = 6 Jhera has seen the way she looks at everypony before, almost looking past them, rather than at them. She's blind. The alicorn glances toward a clock positioned on the wall by the door to the classroom. "It seems we have a pair of tardy students. No mat-" Suddenly, a purple earth pony bursts in through the door. "Sorry, Miss Constella! I'm so sorry!" A white unicorn with a poofy mane runs in after her, nearly knocking the former over. Constella narrows her eyes. "You're both tardy. Take your seats if you don't wish to waste any more of your classmates' time. And Fireheart. See me after class." Posey snickers at Fireheart. "Oooh...You're in trouble..." "Miss Posey! That is not how a proper filly conducts herself!" Constella sighs. "Now...let us continue with yesterday's lesson, if there aren't any further interruptions..." She levitates a piece of chalk and writes a single word on the nearby blackboard: [size=+2]Friendship[/size] "What can you tell me aobut this word?"
Jhera took a furtive glance around the room. What. The. Hay. He thought with growing confusion. He examined his desk, than his classmates. Pink Fizz was missing, again. The gray alicorn wandered through the door and he threw a scared look at her. When he saw the way the alicorn stumbled when the unicorn ran into her, he noticed her glances around. It was like she couldn't focus correctly...or she was blind. Was their "teacher" blind!? He was about to ask what was going on when she wrote "FRIENDSHIP" on the board. I should just go along with it, He thought, We need to learn more about this world, and we won't get anywhere by forcing it. Jhera let out the breath he didn't know he was holding and slowly raised a hoof. "Friendship is the bond between a group of ponies that keeps them happy and content with eachother. It is also the prevailing force that can cause relationships and-" He stopped himself. Jhera REALLY didn't want to draw attention to himself. "and...well, I think there's something about elements in there..." he lowered his hoof. "I forget."
Fireheart examined the room and it seemed like an ordinary classroom but slightly creepier like everything else. Then her name was called out. She then thought to herself "what did i do, whatever I did knowing her I might end up like twilight twinkle". She then heard posey "she may look like fluttershy but she doesnt act like her".
Entropy blinked. He was a little stunned. Not that one could blame him. He'd just been bitten and then, even more confusing...sent back to magic kindergarden? But he passed magic kindergarden! Albiet, with a pass, as he was an "exception". Why the hay...? The teacher, 'Miss Constella'--he shivered, though it wasn't cold--asked them about Friendship? Now he was confused. He wasn't going to raise his hand; he didn't really have any idea what he was doing here, and he was going to figure out what was going on before he walked into a potential trap.
Great, back to school... where it all began. Sheesh, she was having fun in the last dream until someone shattered the glass. She growled and stood up, her lisp... it was back. "Fizzie izzie sowwie, teacha'. I haz dis weally good dweam I dinn't wanna wake fwom." She pouted and trotted over to her seat... but not before giving Fireheart a nice death glare. In her mind, she was imagining herself teleporting Fireheart's bones from her body... When she did sit down, the image comforted her and made her smile in a goofy manner.
"Please do something about that dreadful speech impediment, Miss Fizzle. You'll get nowhere in life like that. And please remember that this is your reality. That goes for all of you, students." Constella closed her eyes as she calmly listened to Jhera's response. She seeemd slightly irritated with the answer, but replied calmly and surely, "Very good, Mister Jhera...." "I especially liked the part about, how did you say it? 'Something about elements in there?'" Surprise and Posey snickered. Posey whispered, "Loser." Constella stamped her hoof, silencing the snickering. "Silence, Miss Posey, or I will send you to the back of the class with Miss Twinkle." She levitated the piece of chalk and wrote on the blackboard again, as the word "Friendship" disappeared: [size=+2]Failure Despair[/size] She pointed to the word "Failure". "You are all here because you are failures. You have failed in whatever quest you have been given. Yours is a sad, lonely existence filled with..." She pointed to the word "Despair". "Despair." "Your assignment, dear students, is to write a two-thousand word report on the meaning of this word, and while you do that, reflect on what exactly happened that caused you to fail. Keep that memory with you, dear students, for it will be your last waking memory." "I grow tired of these games. You have until the end of class today to turn in a report." "Goodbye." She then turned and, like a wisp of fog, phased through the classroom door. Posey and Surprise both immediately began tossing pencils at the ceiling, seeing if they could get them to stick. Firefly and Glory immediately began writing, and Sparkler left her seat to start stealing pencils and hoarding them. Only Twilight Twinkle did nothing.
Jhera turned and looked towards Pink Fizz and Entropy. He was now curious as to what they were talking about before Constella changed them. Getting up, he wandered over to Entropy and stood next to his desk. "What was going on in there? You were tooking to Twilight about something; did you manage to get any information?"
"Duzzin' has ta remind meh... ugh." She looked down at her desk, and immediately thumped her fore-head against it. "I wunna iffa ya kin fallz azleep in a dweam." Her golden eyes rolled around to look at Twilight. "Whatcha t'ink?"
