    Tex actually rolled a crit to hit the creature blind. Other than that, hope it was fun.

    No, the boss has a really good defensive displacement ability. :derpe:

    You were all facing what is known as a Ghast Spider. If somepony hadn't killed it, I was going to have it beg for life, but a spear ended that.

    It can summon illusional specters as distractions and cause hallucinations using gaze attacks. Tex's idea was great. Even with a -40 penalty to hit in blind fighting, his crit of 99 not only got him the hit, but also earned him the R-Rank Blind Fighting skill. (Now it's only a -20 to hit when you're blind.)
