Good morning-afternoon-evening-night, everypony. I just thought I'd let you all know that you probably won't be seeing me too much for the next week or so - not that I'm on here every day, but I'm about to disappear for a short while again. My 14 year old cat has given up his will to live. He's just laid down, won't eat, won't drink, and is slowly dieing. It's very hard to watch, but he's not in pain, and I don't want to add the stress a trip to the vet causes unless it's for the last call. And that I won't do unless he's in pain. I'm not sure how long he'll last - perhaps a week, so hopefully this will be all over by next Monday. Sorry for the downer post, everypony.
My neighbor just had to put her 12 year old cat down. He had cancer and it was hard but she felt it was the only right thing to do. I sympathize and just know that the love you and he shared will never die as long as you remember him. I believe there are animals in Heaven and all animals are welcomed in with open arms.
It's really more my wife's cat, and she's been really busted up about it, but that's what I keep telling her. At least we have a few more days to say good-bye.
The only pets i remember that died were several dozen fish. Sorry.I have no empathy and i cant understand others emotions. Beep.I am a ro-bot.
Heartfire. How is it I've seen you around so much, but you only have 97 posts? Wow, sheez. That sucks, guys. Unfortunately, soon I may be in on that kinda thing too. My grandma's dog (it's as old as I am, almost 17) is really not having a good time of it right now. I mean, it still eats and all, but it forgets where it is a lot, and then does its business all over wherever it's standing, thinking it's outside. My grandma's getting really tired of cleaning up after it, and she keeps talking about putting it down. Really, I think I'm the closest one to that poor dog. Since I've known it since I was a baby and it was a puppy and all. My Grandma doesn't like it all that much, she likes her other dog much better. I think it looks like a rat, though. (Her other dog, I mean.)
I'm sorry Dwynter. Losing a pet is never easy. If you need something happy to take your mind off it though, I have some pictures up from the MLP Fair 2012 I just got home from today. The thread is up here: MLP Fair 2012 /I'll be fixing the broken image links in a few minutes. Using a different image site.
*Falls back into thread* Hey! *Reads last few posts* Wow, Dwynter, sorry dudey. It's pretty terrible that you're goin' through this. As the others have said, I think you should use the time you have to really give the poor thing a nice last few days, if these days are to be it's last.

Hooray, I'm not alone! My old Nokia 6500 does the job. I would upgrade my phone but I don't use it enough to make it worth while.
