    I doubt the validity of that. I don't think they would ask such a simple question and I think contestants have to be smart enough to write their name.

    There's no point in going to bed. Night is too short to rest efficiently. Seriously, true story. According to experts, the shortest night of the year isn't worth sleeping through. (statistically speaking)

    A good night rest is 8 hours of sleep. Shortest night of the year is roughly 6-7 hours.
